Large House Central Location

Amazing location, good size for a large group, and ample off street parking. It was good value for money. However, the property was tired and in need of a good spring clean and service, and a lack of attention to detail which would have made the experience perfect. The outdoor eating area in the garden was completely overgrown, with piles of leaves and leaking gutters. The taps in the bathrooms and kitchen all needed a service. There were cobwebs throughout. The kitchen equipment needed upgrading, to a full set of white crockery - very mismatched mugs, glasses and a drawer full of mismatched serving utensils, with no sharp knife. The oven didn't function properly as all the knobs were worn off.

Perfect location

Beautiful house and garden with everything you could possibly need. Good location- close to town centre and some amazing restaurants. Slight incline to the house could make it a little difficult for people with mobility issues. Lovely views of the sunset from upstairs window. Would definitely book again

Beautiful house in a lovely location. Took our 2 sons, their wives & the four grandchildren. Plenty of room for all. Barbecue needed a good clean before we could use it, and the wire tray was rusty but we managed to improvise. We ate in a few times due to the size of our party (10) and the covid restrictions & one thing we could have done with was an oven glove. Plenty of cutlery & crockery to serve an army. The town, harbour & restaurants were all a five minute walk away. For a steak to die for, visit 'The white swan' in Llanon about six miles away. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

I loved Magnolia cottage.

I loved Magnolia cottage. The location is wonderful. The house is huge and comfortable and very welcome. The only minor complaints I would have is a lack of hanging space (no clothes horse or washing line). There was no where to hang wet coats and no hooks on the doors. Some of the kitchen equipment was not great. My family has a wonderful holiday and would definitely book this house again! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Our weekend away

Property and location were excellent, would use again. Property could do with a lick of paint, bath plugs didn’t work in downstairs shower room, quite a few light bulbs needed replacing, but didn’t spoil our weekend, had a wonderful time.
