A lovely cottage in a peaceful location, with a private drive. Extremely well furnished with lots of thought being given to comfort. The kitchen was excellently equipped and it was like being in a home away from home. The views from the bedroom windows were beautiful. Tea in the back garden surrounded by lots of lovely flowers was relaxing. The cottage was located within easy reach of amenities and attractions. The hosts were very helpful.

Exceptionally well equipped, very comfy living room, very large kitchen with all appliances. Within a five minute walk of a pub, only three miles to Penrith and local supermarkets. Beautiful bedrooms - I particularly liked the twin bedded room but we chose the double bedded room instead. Absolutely beautiful cottage, very well converted and extended. Could not fault it. I loved everything about this beautifully appointed cottage. The space is comfortable, wonderfully warm with stone walls and fireplace, charming setting, and upscale finishes. Wonderful library of books, games, DVDs and CDs are available. Since I cooked dinner every night I would greatly have appreciated some ceramic saute pans for eggs, sauteed dishes, etc. The non-stick sautee pans that are in the kitchen are old and chipped. Also, the knobs on the range to control the heat are difficult to read. I would definitely rebook this beautiful home.

Well we’ve had another lovely week at this beautiful place! I think I’ve began to lose count of the times we’ve stayed here. Everything is always perfect and the week we’ve just had was even better as we were blessed with such good weather. There is so much to see and do in the surrounding area and coming back to the pure tranquility of this place is always wonderful. Looking forward to returning already!

We’ve had another brilliant relaxing stay at this wonderful property.

We’ve had another brilliant relaxing stay at this wonderful property. We’ve lost count now of the times we have stayed here. There is so much to do in the surrounding area and nothing beats returning to this quiet stunning property at the end of a hard days exploring. We even enjoy lazy days chilling out in the property too. Highly recommend.
