Comfortable cottage in a wonderful location

A comfortable cottage in a wonderful temperate rainforest location and near to a community woodland. There are lovely local walks and it's a good base from which to explore Mull. The cottage has been recently redecorated and is very well equipped including with board games for adults and children. There is a good library of books. The twin bedroom is more suitable for children or teenagers as the beds are low and close together which presents some problems for anyone older or with mobility difficulties. The bathroom has a bath and hand held shower so again may present accessibility difficulties which should be pointed out in the description on the website.

What an amazing cottage, located on the Ardura Estate on Mull. Nestled in the woodland, well out of the way from the main road. The ideal location for a Honeymoon. The welcome we received was second to none, with Pat making sure that we had everything we needed. The accommodation is well designed and very comfortable, we could happily have stayed for longer. We will definitely return and will recommend this lovely cottage to others! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

The But n Ben is a lovely cottage, nice and quiet.

The But n Ben is a lovely cottage, nice and quiet. The cottage is nicely furnished and once the log fire is burning its very cosy. Would recommend the cottage if your looking for somewhere to chill and relax. Some good walks in the area, and lochs to see.

Amazing holiday on the beautiful island of Mull. It was made extra special with our lovely accommodation at the Butt and Ben. We kept waiting on Goldilocks visiting as it looked like the original 3 bears cottage. It was straight out of a fairytale ❤

Lovely cottage ,great location! Friendly helpful people I charge of the cottage. Any queries quickly addressed. Bathroom was a challenge with 3/4 bath tub where having a shower was nearly impossible due to low cealing height without soaking carpeted floor . We loved the cottage,well equipped and sunshine for the week with BBQ available made the week amazing . Found sea otters ,eagles and visiting peacocks . We would love to return ! Thank you

Wonderful cottage in stunning location.

Wonderful cottage in stunning location. Would not hesitate in recommending. A 6 mile drive to nearest restaurant/pub but that’s what you get for a remote setting. Would definitely go back again.
