What a fantastic holiday home.
What a fantastic holiday home. There were 11 of us over the weekend and 5 of us in the week with ages ranging from 2 to 72. The whole house was spotless on arrival, the beds comfortable, and there are 2 fridges, a wine fridge, 2 freezers and plenty of storage space. The kitchen is well equipped with cutlery, crockery, pots, pans and utensils.The pool was a massive hit, and we enjoyed using it every day. The games room was also a big hit, and we particularly enjoyed playing pool and darts. The cinema room was enjoyed by our grandchildren and also provided another seating area. The adults enjoyed playing games in the upstairs seating area later in the evening as this area has slightly higher seating and a coffee table for games and drinks.We loved the layout of the house, which is quite quirky and the welcome pack on arrival was a nice touch.There is sufficient parking for 3 cars on the driveway, albeit a little tight, and there was some free parking on the road immediately outside the house.We really enjoyed spending time at the house as well as visiting The Pavilion Gardens, Buxton town, Bakewell and Monsal Head and the stunning Peak District countryside.We would definitely return.
