There's a lot of noise at night with the condo being close to the road. The kitchen pans need to be updated. Nice appliances. The pool and common area were closed to guests for two days that week. It would have been nice to know.

Ekhai Village Stay

Great vacation. Unit 45F was everything we needed to have a good time. Nice, clean unit. More than enough room. Pool right out side the door and only a 5 minute walk down to the beach.

Great Condo in Paradise

My husband and I enjoyed our 8 night stay in this condo that had everything we needed for day trips, beach and pool days. The kitchen was well stocked, the condo felt comfortable and very clean. The view on the deck was enjoyable all day long as you look over a pool, beautiful flowers & trees and ocean in the distance. We caught some great sunsets right there!

Comfort and Ease in Wailea

We had 9 fantastic days in Wailea. The Property rental was totally as depicted. Many amenities are provided and the owner was extremely responsive to all requests. It’s great to be provided with all of the beach equipment and kitchen is convenient as well. We hope to return. Thank you, Tim!

Maui Family Vacation

We came with our family for a week and had a good experience. The walk to the beach was about 10 minutes. Overall the place was nice and well stocked with everything we needed. It would have been nice to have a stock list of the beach items in the closet so that we knew there was snorkeling gear and boogie boards in advance. The dishwasher had a funky smell so likely needs to be sanitized so we just didn’t use it.

Aloha Jessica! Thanks for the feedback. We just finished a 2 week visit to the condo and organized the gear. There are sufficient snorkeling gear for a family of 4, 4 beach chairs, 2 umbrellas and 2 boogie boards. We didn't notice any issue with the dishwasher, but nonetheless, we cleaned it and ran it several times. It seems to be functioning fine. Mahalo for your visit and we hope you return soon!

Wailea Honeymoon vacation

This listing is a must! The view from the lanai is beautiful and a quick 10 min walk to the pool/beach access area. We felt very safe in this community. We found Wailea to be the best area to stay on the island, as you're a quick 5-10 min drive to various hotels with their speciality restaurants along the water, Wailea shops (outdoor mall), and grocery store (Safeway). It's walkable distance to the 2 mile walk giving you a beautiful view of the shoreline, especially at sunset! The bed is very comfortable, one of the reasons why we chose it for the sleep number bed. Tim has many amenities to use like the beach chairs, beach cooler/ice packs, beach bag, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, towels, etc which were very convenient when trying to pack light! The kitchen is stocked for meal prepping if desired as well. You will not be disappointed when choosing this location for your vacation! Thank you Tim, we had a wonderful vacation!

Ekahi. Beautiful and noisy

First of all I didn’t realize we would be on the second floor and at age 82 it was exhausting pulling luggage and dragging grocery bags up the stairs. Also, apparently there is little insulation because every car and particularly motor bike sounded like it was going thru our apartment. Sleep was difficult to say the least. The unit was well maintained and updated but the noise from the outside was too much for us to overcome. We will look for other accommodations next time.

I'm sorry to hear or the difficulties you encountered. My description of the unit does note that it is a second-floor unit. Inconsiderate car and cycle owners (those that don't care about making inordinate amounts of noise) are an occasional but unfortunate reality that affects many units in upper Ekahi Village. That being said, I have installed window baffles in the bedroom to mitigate road noise, and with the A/C on at night, I've found peaceful sleeping conditions. I'm glad you found the unit well maintained and updated!

Undisclosed and unacceptable traffic noise from Wailea Alanui Drive

This unit is one of the units closest to traffic. Wailea Alanui Drive is a very busy street, noise can be heard throughout the unit, especially in bedroom. From bedroom lanai, traffic can be seen and heard. If a car or motorcycle goes by with modified exhaust, vibration can be felt. Pedestrian’s conversation can be heard clearly. At night, moving headlights can be seen from bedroom. With glass sliding door closed, curtain drawn and air conditioning’s compressor on, traffic can still be heard. Wailea Alanui Drive traffic is 24/7, unlike construction below and across street. Host offered charging only nights spent. Unfortunately alternative good accommodation cannot be found with no advance notice in high season. This unit is one of the units furthest from beach. Living room lanai is the best part of this unit. It has good ocean view, fairly private and nice breeze most of the times. Internet is fast and host responses very quickly.

My Wife and I got to spend a week here for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect. Tim was very responsive and even helped us out with a last minute request we needed. The unit is as advertised. It’s tucked away in the back of the property, and shaded well from the sun. It’s situated in a great spot. The shops at Wailea are a short walk away, while anything else in the Kihei area is at most a 10 minute drive. The beach and pool access is great, and the sunset view from the deck is unbeatable. The unit is stocked full of beach supplies ranging from full snorkel sets, to chairs, umbrellas and coolers. The only thing that could be cause for concern would be the vehicle noise from the adjacent road. This was only noticeable in the evenings from the bedroom. The whole trip we maybe had a combined 4 cars that were blasting music that woke us up. Otherwise a wonderful experience all together. My wife and I will be returning in the future!

Beautiful place

This condo is nicely furnished, well stocked, and has amazing views. It’s about a 10 minute walk down the hill to the main pool and beach. This was our second stay and we can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful Wailea Condo

We had a wonderful experience. Tim’s place is in a great condo community with many pools and beach access. The condo is well stocked with boogies boards, chairs, and snorkeling gear. The only bummer was the construction noise across the street that starts around 7am. I would highly recommend.

Great stay!

Condo was very clean and nicely decorated. Lots of supplies and water equipment. For older folks or those with young kids, the condo is up on the hill and takes 5-8 minutes to trek back up after the beach and pavilion. Some road noise as it is close to the street and some construction across the street. Easy parking and great location. Overall, I would love to stay again. Thank you Tim!

Prime Location!

Tim was the perfect host and his property was fantastic. It definitely felt like a home away from home. Whether you decide on a short walk or drive to one of the best beaches on the island or indulge in hanging out poolside, this is the place to be. It was like staying at your own private resort in a prime location on the island. I recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing and stress free vacation.

Tim is great, Ekahi is heaven!

Tim is the most incredible host. He is an awesome communicator, prompt, thorough, and clear. He exudes professionalism and friendliness. We felt like we were being hosted by an old friend, we felt well looked after. His condo fit our family of four (two kids 6, 9) comfortably. We loved the views from the lanai! Others mention the road noise, and while it exists, it did not bother us, especially with the a/c or fan on. His place is stocked with all the fun beach/pool toys you could ever need! The walk to the nearest pool is under a minute and it’s about 5 to the beach. Pro tip- another family with kids mentioned in the past they just drove to the beach with kids and parked in the lower lot. We didn’t need to because we like to walk and kids are used to walking places with us, but if walking travel with your crew is more challenging there are workarounds. Ekahi is a dream, we would come back in a heartbeat! Thanks, Tim!

Beautiful condo in a great location

This condo is amazing! We enjoyed the great view from the balcony and kitchen, and the comfortable furnishings. As long as you don’t mind a hill, it’s a nice walk to and from the beach and main pool. The condo was clean and seems well maintained. We had a wonderful stay.
