Comfortable stay

A really pleasant place to stay. The rooms are over 3 floors with 2 bedrooms on the top floor. The house is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils. There is on-street parking. There is a small supermarket 2 mins walk away, plus Chinese, Indian and Pizza take aways in easy wlaking distance. It's a relaxed 15 mins walk into Harrogate. The communication from the owner was excellent.

Lovely house and great host

The house has lots of space and is walking distance from the center of Harrogate. It's about 15-20 from the town centre, but it's close to some takeaways and delivery restaurants which serve as a nice contrast from the fancier places in the town center. It also made us feel more at home versus feeling like the tourists that we are and it was more convenient to driving to the Yorkshire Dales for some wonderful hikes. We had a few questions for Christine, the owner - she is incredibly friendly, and quick to respond.

Schönes Haus in praktischer Lage

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub. Das Haus war gut eingerichtet, nur ein großer Kochtopf (für Spaghetti) fehlte und Besteck musste man schon mal per Hand spülen, wenn die Maschine noch nicht voll war. Ansonsten fehlte es an nichts - bei unserer Ankunft standen schon Brot und Milch und ein Begrüßungs-Prosecco in der Küche. Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und reagierte immer sehr schnell auf unsere Fragen (im Vorfeld ebenso wie während des Aufenthalts). Das Haus liegt etwas nördlich der Innenstadt (gut 10 Minuten zu Fuß); ein kleiner Sainsbury's ist gleich um die Ecke. Wir haben immer einen Parkplatz in der Straße bekommen, wenn auch nicht immer direkt vor der Haustür. Man ist schnell in York/Knaresborough, aber auch in den Dales.

Second stay.

This was our second stay at this property- it's lovely. There's plenty of room. The master bedroom is on the first floor and the other two bedrooms are on the second floor- ideal for teenagers who like their own space. The kitchen is well equipped. There's a separate dining room. The living room has a 2 seater sofa and the other chairs are less comfy - not a problem for us but if 4 people were watching TV together it might seem a bit crowded. There is a very small front garden and the street feels close but the blinds in the living room and curtains in the master bedroom are effective. There is a Sainsbury's literally round the corner. It's about 15 mins easy walk into Harrogate.

Quiet and Close to Town

Comfortable terrace home in a quiet neighborhood with a easy 20 min walk into downtown Harrogate. Sainsbury’s Local at the front of the street and coffee shop nearby were convenient for our stay. The small backyard sitting area was a nice addition.

Great property!

We stayed here on a trip to visit friends in the area. The house is lovely, had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The location was great, very convenient to town and Skipton Road. We would definitely stay here again when in town. We highly recommend the property.

Awesome Stay - Amazing Place

From start to finish this stay has been an absolute delight. Christine is the most helpful person ever with a fabulous property that resembles a boutique hotel. The house is just stunning with all mod-cons and is such a lovely area of the town. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a fantastic relaxing experience in the beautiful city of Harrogate.
