Great Find!

I stayed in the the one-bedroom cottage, and it was very nice (just like the pictures). The shower had great water pressure and was hot (not always easy to come by in France I discovered), and the bed was super comfortable. Kitchen is well-outfitted, and the grounds are beautiful. The owners, Michael and Mandy, seem like lovely people (they live on the property but you hardly know they are there unless you need something). I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area!

Excellent établissement...mais trop isolé

Michael, le propriétaire anglais, est une personne charmante accueillante, toujours prêt à aider. Son gîte est aménagé avec beaucoup de goût. La quiétude est total dans un environnement bucolique. Seul bémol : le gîte est très isolé par rapport aux sites à visiter, donc des déplacements à prévoir !

Not as special as we’d hoped…

Stunning and tranquil location, with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. Unfortunately our particular gite (the garden cottage) just didn’t meet our expectations and we left, disappointed (3 days early). Overall the property is certainly beautiful, however it’s in need of some TLC and doesn’t live up to the ‘luxury’ description or the photos that appear on websites.

We were very surprised to hear that they left early as they seemed very happy during their stay and did not complain at all. In fact our other guests, who had been speaking to them regularly, had the same impression. We are very confused how the cottage is different to the photos. Previous guests have expressed how the cottage has lived up to their expectations. We did find them looking inside our 2 other larger cottages just before our new guests were due to arrive (which had just been disinfected due to Covid) and they seemed to prefer them to their cottage. They obviously had larger gardens too even though their cottage had stunning views. We do not understand the reference to "in need of some TLC". We actually bought a new barbecue for them as soon as we realized it was damaged.

La tranquillité et la paix

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances ici. Surtout, nous avons apprécié le silence et la sensation d’avoir échappé à la vie quotidienne.
