This was our 7th stay at this cabin (we've visited in both spring and fall); & we've been visiting this gem of a property since Fall 2021. It is EXQUISITE. We frequent because it's so wonderful, and wonderfully relaxing.Perfectly Up-North Michigan, perfectly appointed cabin, perfectly situated on the lot--we stay here as an artists' retreat, to be creative, so we are delighted to settle in and see zero other humans while we're here. Plenty of freighters to watch cross the Straits, which is super cool!The beach is incredible--it's rocky, because you're on the Strait, which is cool--and the views morning, afternoon, and evening are fabulous!This is one of our top-3 places to sit for a bit (the other two are in Canada, so.):)

What an incredible piece with majestic views, and private if you’re looking for that. It was the perfect location for us to get to Munising (make sure to ride the @riptideride!), Macinac island and back to Harbor Springs and Petosky.

This is our perfect getaway spot. We always feel like we’re “coming home” when we pull in the driveway. Mary is the consummate host; always makes sure we are welcome and comfortable. This is our fifth year and I can’t wait for our sixth!

Beautiful Location

The cabin is spacious and well equipped, had absolutely everything we needed. The location was great for U.P. day trips, or just staying put and relaxing.

Absolute Heaven!

We just got home yesterday after staying here for 6 days. It was absolutely gorgeous! The view and sound of Lake Michigan is great. You can even see Mackinaw Bridge from the shore. Would stay again!

It was a quiet, peaceful cabin to stage our UP vacation. Great staging point for out Mackinac Island, Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls, and Beach (sand dunes) vacation. Unplugging the family was need for all of us.

Perfect spot!

This is a great cabin! Secluded yet so close to everything. Incredible views, so comfortable. This was our third stay; we’ll be contacting Mary in a few months to schedule next year’s week.

St Ignace Cabin and Car show

This was an amazing cabin and met all of our needs! We loved being away from town but close to all the action of the car show! The views from the backyard were beautiful! We loved exploring everyday and coming back to chill at night and didn’t miss having WiFi at all!

Loved it!

Perfect getaway!

After several stays here, I just can’t wait to get back! So comfortable, great location; secluded yet close to the city and other amenities. Although all you need is a load of firewood and good company. And Mary is the consummate host.

Perfect spot!

This property is perfect! Close enough to town, but such a private place to enjoy campfires under the stars and coffee on the porch in the early morning. So comfortable! Can’t wait to schedule our getaway in 2022!

Peaceful Stay

A nice peaceful vacation rental! Great communication with the host. Beautiful scenery as the rental is nestled in the wilderness. FYI: Bring plenty of bottled water unless you are accustomed to well water.

This cabin was in a fantastic location right on Lake Michigan with amazing views of freighters. It is secluded, but still in reasonable distances to enjoy the sites from White Fish Point and the Ship Wreck Museum, Tahquamenon Falls, Sauté Ste. Marie/Soo Locks, hiking in Cedarville, and Mackinaw Island. Being Labor Day weekend, it was also close to the Mackinac Bridge Walk. We had an amazing stay. The cabin does have well water so we recommend you bring your own water to drink.

Best Family Vacation Ever!

Absolutely beautiful property. The cabin was ideal for all our needs. Excellent location, convenient to so many activities. The owner was great handling the one minor issue we experienced checking in and made sure we were taken care of quickly. This was by far our best family vacation filled with breathtaking views and unforgettable memories. We would love to return year after year!

Great location and on the lake

This cabin is perfectly located for exploring the UP and Mackinac Island. There is complete privacy and a beautiful lake view. We enjoyed our exploring and returning to the cabin each day to cook and have a campfire. The only advice we have is to bring water for drinking and cooking. We would definitely recommend this cabin!

Thank you! And yes, it is well water… The local grocery store sells refillable bottles for .49 cents, that’s what I use.

Very large kitchen, washer/dryer, large dining room table. The back porch facing the Lake is at a high level which creates a fantastic view!
