Perfect!

Perfekter Traum. Auf der Suche nach einer Ferienunterkunft, die ausreichend Platz für 4 Familien (8 Erwachsene und 8 Kinder + 2 Hunde) bietet, sind wir schließlich bei PODERE BEATRICE in Fivizzano (Toskana) fündig geworden. Aufgrund der auf der Website gezeigten Bilder hatten wir hohe Erwartungen, die jedoch weit übertroffen wurden. Wir fanden ein riesiges Gelände auf der Spitze eines Hügels, bestehend aus 4 wunderschönen Häusern im toskanischen Stil, garniert mit einem riesigen Pool am höchsten Punkt und einer hervorragenden Aussicht. Jede Familie hatte ein eigenes Haus, was den Urlaub sehr angenehm machte. Es gab genügend Platz für Privatsphäre sowie für nettes Beisammensein im Gemeinschaftshaus oder auf dem Poolbereich. Die Villa ist persönlich noch schöner, die Landschaft rund um den Pool ist einzigartig und die besondere Lage auf dem Hügel fernab von jeglichem Verkehr garantiert uns Entspannung pur. Die Eigentümer der Villa waren äußerst freundlich und stets hilfsbereit, die Kommunikation verlief unkompliziert. Wir würden die Unterkunft jederzeit weiterempfehlen, die Lage, die Landschaft ist das pure Paradies, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Views, village, and villa to die for.

Our group vacation was to reconnect five lifelong girlfriends. We brought our friends and families together too and the trip was magical. The villa is even more gorgeous in person. The landscaping, replete with natural beauty, is comfortable and inviting- flowers, herb and vegetable gardens, grape vines, and ponds with fish and frogs. Don't forget to bring a swimsuit because the pool saved us all on HOT July days and nights. The village is very small and intimate, atop narrow, winding, country roads, bordered with grape orchards, small shops, roadside water fountains of white marble statues, and a local cemetery. Plan to do your driving in the daylight; the views are not to be missed, and the roads are more manageable. The local church community center allows villa guests to mingle with villagers over ice cream on weekend evenings. Church bells ring out the hours, lending warmth and charm. Beatrice and her father took care of all our questions and needs. The apartments provided privacy for couples and families. Communal areas were great for dining and lounging. A road just outside the villa is the perfect place for a morning walk through luscious green trees and picturesque farms with old farmhouses. The site houses deep wounds from World War II, explained by placards along the route. It is a place of commemoration and healing. A medieval castle, mineral springs, quarries, Pisa, and the sea, were great day trips. Overnights elsewhere included Parma & Pompeii.

Perfect !

I stayed at PODERE BEATRICE for a week with a group of friends and I did not want to go home! The villa is in an idyllic location and is HUGE - it has everything you could need and it was very nice to take a dip in the pool when it was too hot. We had a tasting tour of the local wines and a private chef in villa who cooked for us delicious "trenette al pesto". EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!

Peaceful and comfortable

For the second year in succession we stayed in this lovely property. The living/dining area is very spacious with comfortable beds. The property itself was clean and well maintained. As in the first year we were warmly welcomed by Beatrice and her family - more so in the second year; it was like visiting friends. S TERENZO itself is well placed for visiting lesser known but amazing places which often are not found in (British) guidebooks - maybe I'll write one! Beaches are a short drive away, Cinque Terre is well worth a trip and I would advise taking the train from aulla - you don't have to worry about parking then! Pisa, Lucca, Viareggio and other places are all accessible too. What we loved about the podere and location was the feeling of being away from the hustle and bustle but not being isolated. Wonderful, local food, excellent wine, and a great chance to chat with other guests, most of whom were other Europeans. Great for discussions over bruschetta, local pecorino, salted olives , wine etc .

Fabulous !!!

Villa Riviera is really fabulous ! Wonderful property with all facilities and amenities you expect on vacation: Tennis court, Football Soccer field, Gym, Large swimming pool, Sauna, Jacuzzi, Wi-fi, Barbecue and also a small outside relax area reserved for us only! The location is perfect! Halfway from Cinque Terre and beach resorts! Friendly and helpful staff!

Tuscan style

Beautiful, perfect Tuscan style clean and well furnished. There is absolutely nothing missing (there is washing machine, microwave oven, iron and ironing board, TV, etc.). We really enjoyed the lovely garden, very well cared for, with pergola and tables to dine outside. Theowners are very nice. Highly recommended !

This lovely propery has everything you wish to find in a villa: Swimming pool, tenniss court, football soccer, tennis table, gym, relax area, sauna , jacuzzi , children play area, hammocks ... Definitively ALL ! House was very clean and staff very friendly and happy to help with wine tastings , yacht cruises etc. We can't wait to come back next year. Thank you very much.

ALL all you ever whished is at Villa Riviera !!

14 of us stayed here for 10 days and what a wonderful villa it is. According to the pictures the villa is wonderfully appointed, comfortable throughout and with the most stunning outdoor area we ever seen. We enjoyed all seating around the large outdoor table and relaxed on the fabulous seats around the pool area. The pool is a very good size for everyone and the whole property has everything you need: Tennis court, Football field, Relax area, Barbecue, Tennis table, Gym, Children games, Sauna... Definitively ALL all you ever whished is there. The owner Athina was wonderful throughout the booking process and her son Ioannis looked after us very well when we were there. He even took us shopping on arrival so we could stock the kitchen up. The cleaner turned up daily and did a perfect discreet job of keeping the villa clean. I am not sure what the visitor in June who has written the poor review was expecting but I can only say he must have been a very difficult customer as the villa won't disappoint and I would certainly stay there again We decided not to hire cars as we knew we would all be drinking most nights so we made use of the taxi service. This didn't prove so easy the first night and then we found the friendly Nikos who we were able to call directly. We also used the local bus service which is exceptionally cheap. You could walk to the local supermarket but walking to Fira was not an option.

Ideal property for large families and or group of friends. This luxury villa has just all you need: Swimming pool, Playground for children, Tennis court, Soccer field, Jacuzzi, Relax areas,. It's amazing you don't need to visit places once you are there. This villa is the dream of every family indeed.

The best villa we ever had

We stayed here for a long-awaited vacation with our friends. A group of 3 families with children and we could not have found a nicer place to stay. Massimo Conti ( Property Manager) was a great help. Even before the holiday had started, he organized our transfer and answered all the questions we had before checking in. Also during our stay he made us feel welcome and helped us planning excursions and make reservations where needed. The villa is in an ideal location with everything , truly everything you need to entertain adults and children. Playground for children, tennis court, soccer field, swimming pool, jacuzzi. This villa is the dream of every family ! The villa itself had everything we needed and the level of cleanliness was at a very high level, to close up in beauty, all the staff are very friendly and are happy to help. I really can not wait to stay here again and thank Villas Retreats for making our vacation the best we have ever had.
