Our stay in villa Trapezia was wonderfull. The house, the introduction by Anthony, the communication with Lindos Destiny, everything was really okay!

So much potential to be perfect

Did not get off to the best of starts as our transport, arranged by Lindos Destiny did not arrive at the airport. After a long journey and 4 children aged 3 and under we had to scrap around for taxis at the airport. The number that we had for the Lindos rep. went straight to answer phone which was really frustrating. The hosts who were lovely met us, but we were one high chair and one travel cot short. They did sort this for us but as we had prearranged , again it felt like it should have been sorted. The villa itself was in a lovely situation but lacked a bit of TLC. The Jacuzzi was out of commission and looked like it had not worked for months. The tiles around the swimming pool were extremely slippery and several damaged - not great for our little ones. 3 of the 5 parasols were broken and not working properly and none really fitted properly into the bases. although the weather was glorious , the swimming pool is not heated and was a little chilly for our toddlers. The microwave was not working all week either. Having said all of this we did have a really nice time. I suppose we have got used to the high standard of properties in the UK. If you visit then do go to Tsambika beach which was a perfect sandy beach for the little ones. And lastly you MUST MUST hire a car if you stay here.

Sehr schöne Lage , schön ruhig mit tollem Blick aufs Meer. Es könnte gerne renoviert werden und für die obere Etage ein wlan Verstärker eingesetzt werden. Die Küche war sehr geräumig und ordentlich ausgestattet. Leider laufen die Hunde auch auf dem Grundstück frei rum.

Wonderful, comfortable, well equipped villa

The villa feels very large with 4 different dining tables and plenty of sitting areas. The basement gym is well equipped and fun to use to let off steam in between lounging by the pool. The kitchen has plenty of coffee machines and an ice maker in the freezer.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche in der Villa Trapezia. Der Pool mit dem Ausblick aufs Meer ist top. Ansonsten benötigt man auf jeden Fall ein Auto, um zum nächsten Supermarkt oder Restaurant zu kommen. Leider waren auch schon einige Liegen am Pool defekt. Die Badezimmer müssten auch mal renoviert werden.

Die Lage der Villa ist einzigartig mit einem traumhaften Blick auf das Meer. Der Gesamteindruck des Hauses wird durch die Badezimmer stark getrübt. Die Fugen am Waschbecken und Duschtassen , sowie die Duschvorhänge sind sehr stark mit Schimmel befallen. Die Sauberkeit sollte doch im Vordergrund stehen. Die 2 Hunde der Eigentümer hatten in den ersten 2 Tagen freien Zugang zum Grundstück. Ein Mitreisender wurde durch einen Hund gebissen. Trotz allem waren die Vermieter sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Bei der Ankunft erhielten wir einen leckeren griechischen Salat und etwas Süßes. Zwischendurch wurde auch noch eine große Schüssel Zaziki gereicht und zum Abschied bekam jede Frau ein kleines Geschenk, welches die Kinder der Vermieterin selbst gemacht haben, hierfür nochmals ganz lieben Dank.

Wonderful

We had simply the best time, the villa was amazing, the views were incredible, we will miss the sun rises and sun sets. The location of the Villa is ideal to drive into Lindos and Rhodes Town. So impressed we have booked for next year already and cant wait to go back.

Five Stars are not enough

Together with family and friends (8 people) we spent a wonderful week at Villa Trapezia to celebrate the big birthday of my husband. Everything was very well prepared by the owners. The huge house with it's five bedrooms and huge living room was very clean and due to the current covid-19 pandemic they even provided us with masks and disinfectant for hands. The kitchen has all amenities you need. The swimming pool is really big and the whirlpool bath can be heated. The owners gave as a very warm welcome with greek salad, wine and olive oil. The view is absolutely breathtaking. What you definitely need is a car, because Villa Trapezia is on a hill a few kilometres from Afandou. There is no direct way to the beach. If you want to walk there it will take at least 40 minutes. We will never forget our stay there. I am sure that we will come back one day. Thanks a lot to Chryssa, Vasia and all the kind people, who made our stay unforgetable and outstanding. And finally, they even gave us the delicious birthday cake for free.

Gorgeous villa and brilliant hosts

This property is as per the photos. It is beautifully laid out, with plenty of space for all. The basement floor has some wear and tear but we didn’t spend enough time downstairs for it to be an issue and table tennis enjoyed by all. The pool is fantastic and Vasia lives next sore so is very responsive to questions etc. We were touched by the welcome gift of local produce and the view from this quiet villa is stunning. There are three very similar properties but otherwise the location is a way from other holiday lets. It is not walking distance to a beach but the beaches are closed by and beautiful. I would definitely return to this villa if in Rhodes again. Please consider hiring George a local chef with years of experience in for the day who will prepare local Greek food (2 days’ worth!!) Recommend the port and Lindos for local food and shopping.

Fantastic villa and location and lots of recommendations from the owners

Fantastic villa, luxurious and everything provide for a wonderful holiday. The owner gave us Lots of fantastic recommendations of beaches, beach bars, restaurants and things to do. On arrival we were greeted by vasia who told us about all the great beaches, restaurants and things to see and do. There was also a delicious Greek salad and tzatziki and wine for us to enjoy when we arrived made by vasia’s mother. There was also fabulous olive oil from their own olive trees for us to enjoy. Absolutely fabulous. They also provided us with breakfast foods to eat as we hadn’t been able to get to the supermarket. The views from the villa were spectacular and the grounds were very well kept. The villa was extremely spacious with a great choice of areas to sit outside by the pool and to eat inside and out. They have thought of everything. We especially liked the bbq which we used a lot, it was fun as it used wood and was extremely efficient and tasty. The pool was so clean and no chlorine smell at all. All pool towels were provided and changed once per week. The only downside was that around the pool could be slippery when wet. The bedrooms all had en-suite facilities which was great. and there was a huge 1st floor outdoor exercise area on this floor. The beds were very comfy too and all towels and bedding were provided and changed once per week. There was outdoor eating area which were gorgeous as well as two indoor eating areas. A fully equipped kitchen with American style fridge and dishwasher. The beach and restaurants recommendations helped to make our stay spectacular as we enjoyed fabulous meals and drinks at wonderful locations that we would not have found without this info. This info was invaluable. The location of the villa was perfect for getting around the island. The locals were very friendly and helpful too. The villa was very clean and so well laid out and had everything we needed. It even had a huge basement with a squash court, table tennis, table football, a small gym and exercise area. We would definitely stay here again and we would highly recommend it Thank you for a great stay.

Superb villa with excellent facilities

The villa was superb with 5 spacious bedrooms, an elegant lounge and large kitchen. The games room was a great selling point for my family and it was used daily. The pool was the largest we have enjoyed in many years staying in villas all over Europe with amazing views and a welcome breeze to enable pleasant sun bathing. Having the owners next door was useful in case we had any questions and they were kind enough to bring us meals on a number of occasions. The villa was quite remote and a car was certainly required for shops, restaurant and beach but all these were only 5 or 10 minutes drive. All in all my family really enjoyed staying at Villa Trapezia. It was a fantastic villa and we loved every minute of our stay.

Wonderful sea views!

We had a wonderful week at Villa Trapezia. Vasia and her family were very attentive hosts, living just next door. We had a warm welcome with lovely local treats and essentials in the fridge. Vasia also provided a very useful print out of local resturant recommendations and other useful information. Vasia's mother brought us fresh greek salads which were delicious. Vasia booked a local yoga teacher to come to the villa and we enjoyed a family yoga session. The villa was lovely and clean with plenty of facilities. During the week a gardener, pool maintence man and cleaners maintained the high standards of the property. The best things were the stunning sea view, pool and gym. We also enjoyed the table tennis and treadmill every day. The kids have already decided they would like to return. It is in a fairly secluded area and we were pleased we hired a car to go to the supermarket and for local day trips. We would recommend the villa for a chilled holiday on Rhodes Island.

A wonder villa with amazing views and great facilities

The villa is perfect and having the owner next door is very positive to help with any issues and indeed bring around the occasional meal for their guests. A car is a necessity as the nearest restaurants and beach are not within walking distance but the beach is very pleasant and there are an abundance of high quality restaurants 5 minutes drive away. We had a yoga lesson on the balcony organised by our host and when we had an issue with the washing machine our host actually did some washing for us. This is the best villa we have stayed in and I would strongly recommend it.

Fantastic Villa Holiday on Rhodes

We had a perfect time during the two weeks we at Villa Trapezia. Vasia and her family were extremely welcoming and whilst we were there Vasia's mother prepared some Greek salad, tzatziki and a lovely homemade pasta dish for us. Vasia made some great recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to eat in. The villa itself was fabulous, very spacious and extremely clean, as was the pool (on both counts). There was a nice gym/games room downstairs and the views out to sea were lovely (as was the sunrise if you were prepared to get up early enough!). The villa had all the mod cons you would expect from a luxury property. In terms of location you would definitely require a hire car to use it effectively given its distance from the main road and the nearest village (this is however made clear in the rental details). All in all an impressive and relaxing base from which to enjoy a great holiday on Rhodes.

Perfect house, helpful owner, great time

As a group of friends we had a wonderful week in Villa Trapezia. From the moment we arrived, until the time we leave, our owner Vasia was very helpful on everything. She and her mother were very kind from the first day. Her mother even had prepared a Greek Salad for us :) Vasia gave as a complete information about the house and the island. She was also very king to answer our questions about the island activities. Even if she doesn't know the answer at the moment we ask she responded with a kind text message in the day. When we inform her about our issue with the wifi connection, she immidiately called the provider. The next day the guys from the internet company came, change the modem and our problem was solved. About the house.. It is just like you see on the photos. Very cozy, silence place, furnished beautifuly. Lots of space in the house and outside and an amazing view. Keep in mind you definitely need a car to stay at this amazing villa. With this information I have to say the location of the house is almost perfect. Rhodes is not a very small island and Villa Trapezia is in the middle of all attractions. Beautiful Lindos and ST Pauls Bay is 35-40 minutes away drive at the south, and Rhodes old town is about 25-30 minutes drive at the north. So it is in the middle of both. And Tsampika beach, which is one of my favorite two beaches in the Rhodes is less the 10 minutes drive. We were very pleased with our stay and we definitely would like to spend time at Villa Trapezia again. Alper (Istanbul)

Beautiful

A beautiful luxurious property. Lots of room in a delightful setting. The owners live next door which was useful for dealing with a couple of minor problems we had. Vasia was extremely helpful with lots of information about places to visit etc. We arrived late on a Saturday evening and we were overjoyed to see that Vasia had prepared us a large greek salad and had left other food. We had a great time but people should note that as the property is up a steep hill you do need a car and it is not really for those who like a stroll to a local taverna. We loved the peace and quiet though.

Fantastic Villa

We had a fantastic week in July at Villa Trapezia. The house is located high up which gives you a fantastic view over the sea. The outside area is spacious with a beautiful good sized pool and we really enjoyed the evenings cooking our own dinners at the grill or in the nice kitchen. The owners are very helpful and made our stay even better.

Fantastisch

We waren afgelopen september 2016 in villa Trapezia met ons gezin. Gastvrij onthaalt door de familie. Uitleg gekregen wat er in de omgeving te doen was/eventueel konden bezichtigen. We hebben heerlijk genoten van de mooie omgeving. We keken zo vanuit de tuin over de zee. Heerlijk ontspannen in en bij het zwembad. Geen verkeer en ander lawaai. Als je voor je rust komt is dit zeker een aanrader. De villa was zeer ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Voor ieder wat wils, zowel groot als klein. Fam. Koelewijn

Perfect Luxury Family Holiday!

The property was very much as described and looked just like the pictures; spacious, luxurious and with fantastic ammenities. The pool was brilliant and we had amazing views. Car hire is a must as access to the area where the villa is, is via a steep access road but worth it for such a fabulous quiet location. Well equipped kitchen which was really important to us and overall a fabulous holiday!! Would certainly recommend it.

Wonderful Week

We had a wonderful week's holiday at Villa Trapezia. Perfect for two families (4 adults, 6 kids). Vasia was extremely helpful her taverna and beach recommendations were great. House itself was spotless, great pool/view and outside dining and lounging areas. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa to anyone.

Outstanding!

Our stay at the Villa Trapezia was exceptional. Our family of ten included 3 generations, four of which were children ages 9 to 14. The villa was as beautiful and well-maintained as the photos and descriptions provided on the web site. All the bedrooms included plenty of closet space and en-suite bathrooms for privacy. When not exploring the island, we enjoyed the large swimming pool and game room on the premises. The children loved sharing the separate studio apartment which included a kitchenette. The villa's common rooms and outdoor spaces were very large and comfortable with plenty of seating for our large brood which also occasionally included several guests who were staying at a separate villa near Lindos. The kitchen was well-stocked with all things necessary to prepare and serve any meals or snacks we wanted. The supermarket was close by and very convenient. We loved the villa's location, which was equa-distant between Rhodes town and Lindos. The owner of the property and her family were gracious and generous, accommodating our requests and answering our questions. Her recommendations concerning places to visit and eat on the island were spot-on and appreciated. The property is secure and private, while also being open to the lovely views from all areas. Some small suggestions we would make would be to: (1) include some lighting at the end of the long driveway to help when backing up the cars at night and (2) upgrade the WiFi to accommodate multiple users. Aside from these, however, we were more than satisfied with our holiday at Villa Trapezia and enthusiastically recommend the property to any one looking to book a vacation in a comfortable home-like atmosphere on a beautiful Greek island filled with interesting historic sites, lovely beaches, delicious food and warm friendly people. Thank you, Vasia, for helping us make some wonderful memories at this very special site.
