My husband and I celebrated our 50th anniversary at ABC Acres by gathering our family (six adults and one 2.5 yr old) for a week in a perfect setting for us.
Our grandson fed the goats some alfalfa every morning and he played several times in the onsite playground area.
We bought chicken and quail eggs, organic meat, jam, and pickles from the ABC Acres farm store.
The guest house we rented has a beautiful view of the farm and looks toward the west range of the Bitterroot mountains. We hiked on nearby mountain trails several times, went fly-fishing with guides and rode horses near Lolo.
Our stay was capped off by a terrific tour of the farm’s tropical greenhouse, and explanations of the overall permaculture management and chicken, goat, and quail husbandry.
The Guest House beds were incredibly comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with cookware and utensils.
If you’re looking for a clean, (well-appointed yet comfortable) place on a lovely, mindful, organic farm setting in the beautiful Bitterroot mountains, book a stay at ABC Acres! Plus, the family who own and run it simply couldn’t be more kind.
