Great stay!

Had a wonderful stay over New Years. Enjoyed the proximity to skiing and Blowing Rock. House is very comfortable, hot tub was a highlight after a day on the slopes. Hope to be back again soon!

Stay in blowing rock

We had family stay here for my wedding during hurricane helene. The property was very nice and fit everyone and the owner checked in various times to make sure we got in and everything was okay with the storm

Great place, great location

The new central AC worked great (maybe too great at night!). The location is perfect, you feel secluded but are just minutes away from all the normal city stuff. The place really is great!

Beautiful Cabin...

Family of 11 adults and 3 children had plenty of room with the 3 levels and all the beds and 3 bathrooms. Wish there was more comfortable seating in the living room for all the adults. The main kitchen was smaller for this size house. But it was well equipped with apiances.

Beautiful views and great location

Very close to planned activities in Blowing Rock. Spent time in Boone. Enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. Very well furnished for cooking meals.

Everything went well. The only issue was the drive was a little difficult to get up and after a snow we had to park at the bottom even with 4 wheel drive.

Wonderful

Our cabin was just as described. Enough room of all 11 of us without getting in each other's way. The amenities were stellar and enjoyed by all. I would recommend this place to anyone with a large group.

Delightful mountain house

This property is great. I needed a large place for several friends who were in town, and the house delivered. Lots of sleeping capacity, and great areas to hang out and talk. Ambience is very nice. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Christmas celebration and ski vacation with the family!

The house is in an excellent location and very spacious. It is very close to Appalachian Ski Mountain, Blowing Rock, Boone, Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain. There were many extras such as the pool table, spa and number of televisions which made our stay eventful. The I would recommend this house to anyone. The view of the mountains on the front porch is beautiful!!

New Years Weekend

Family had a great time and house had a nice view of mountain valley sunrises. You could also hear Tweetsie railroad below. Children loved the roominess of the floorplan. Neighborhood was nicely quiet, even on New Years Eve.

The perfect get away....

This home was exactly what my family needed for a family of 14. It was perfect in every way. Each room in this home was so big and comfortable. We couldn't of pick a more perfect place and location. It also had everything we could of needed and more. We all loved the Hot tub, pool table, games, etc. Once again it was perfect. Thank you so much for sharing your home with my family.

We had a larger group of bible study girls and this location was perfect for us. We had beds for everyone! We had a small issue with the yard and contacted the owner, and she had it taken care of within a few hours! Very fast response time. We were thankful for the use of this home. It was very easy to get to Blowing Rock, Boone, Tweetsie and surrounding areas. The hot tub was a great bonus. I would bring a group back to this home. It had everything you need.

Great home, great location

Our family visits the Blowing Rock area every fall. We outgrew the cabins that we had rented for many years and took a chance on this property last year . . . and we were happy to return to it again this year! The house is spacious but still has a cozy warm "cabin in the woods" feel, and the location is great . . . it feels like you're out in the woods all alone, but it's an easy 5-10 minute drive into Blowing Rock and about 15 minutes into Boone. We wanted for nothing while we were there, but the property mgt company made sure that we knew they were there for us if we did, which was much appreciated. We'll be back!

Family Vacation

My three sisters and our families had a family tradition of vacationing in the Blowing Rock area. For many reasons we had not done this for about 18 years. So we decided we had to get the tradition going again! Your home was the perfect location and size for us. We all felt very much at home and thoroughly enjoyed the weekend. To see us all around your beautiful dining room table playing cards like we used to was very heartwarming. Thank you for allowing your home to be used. We plan to return again next year and keep the tradition going!

Do a THOROUGH walk through on day one

I want to give this place the benefit of doubt- the owner said that this mistake had NEVER happened before and no one had ever complained about cleanliness at this location. But our experience was just egregious- sheets had not been washed (seriously, it's like someone shaved their pubes in one of the bunks and remade the bed), dirty pans had been stacked in the oven, the floors hadn't been cleaned in a VERY long time, there were exposed nails and screws where outdoor furniture and railing was busted, a box spring in the basement was straight up BROKEN IN HALF, a shower drain had been clogged with a huge knee sized bandaid, and there were snags in the furniture that were straight up lethal if you didn't pick your feet up while you walked. This was super fun, since we had a TODDLER staying with us. We found new things every day that were varying levels of gross that all should have been addressed before our arrival- but it's like the housemanager dropped off the clean towels, made the beds (without changing the sheets), and made sure the sink was empty, and said "GOOD ENOUGH." 'Twas not good enough. The owner of the house apologized and gave us a partial refund, but I'd be lying if I said it felt adequate for our troubles. The state of the house was a motivating factor for multiple of our friends leaving the trip early, and the grossness absolutely worsened our experience. Very disappointing.

The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The only issue we had was the snow! Which was so great for the kids but made it hard to get up the driveway. Super close to tweetsie which is why we picked it and it was convenient to town.

Great place!

It was a great house for our family and we had a great time! The carpet didn’t get vacuumed before we came but the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were great! It was so easy to work with the management.

The area is absolutely beautiful with much to do. Great restaurants, outdoor activities and tons of shopping. It is less than a 2 hour drive from Charlottte NC so it is perfect for my family and yours.

We are close to everything, FANTASTIC Views, tons of room for upto 14 people and beds for all. Often multiple families visit because there are 3 levels, so when needed you can get away from the group. It is also not TOO big, since the home is broken up into main level and upstairs and then there is separate stairway to basement where the kitchenette and bunkroom and pool table is.

The home is in the mountains, during the winter months, 4 wheel drive vehicles are highly recommended due to the ice and snow possibilities. The last 1/4 mile of Briarcliff and the driveway are gravel, all other roads are asphalt.
