We go every Christmas!!

Great place facilities great desk 3 rooms en suite convenient to getting round Anglesey - loads to see and do. Every year we discover new places. Great addition to order beans. All Main supermarkets kn one site. Used to get all food etc delivered on eve if arrival till Morrison s let us down Christmas Eve says can bribe due. So no left us with nothing! Prefer go get order ourselves. It’s so convenient

3 night stay in lovely cottage

Arrived in storm. Difficulty identifying exact cottage. It was dark and there was a terrible storm. Asked the hairdresser for correct property. Key box didn’t open very well. Trouble locking door when we left. Water took a long time to go down basin in main bedroom.Bad water marks at base of this basin. All this reported to office when we left.all These are all small issues. We loved the cottage and we had a wonderful time !

A lovely, spacious and comfortable place to stay

We loved our time at Ty Cwyfan. It was a lovely cosy place to stay. We particularly liked the large and spacious main living area, with comfortable sofas. The kitchen was very well equipped too. Aberffraw is a lovely little village to stay in and there are lovely walks on the doorstep down to the beach, or around the coast. Anglesey Holiday Lettings also provide excellent service. Can't recommend them highly enough!

Great weekend break

Loved everything about the property apart from the mattresses which were very tired and in need of replacing. They offered very little support even though wooden boards had been placed underneath.

Lovely stay

The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed for self catering for a few days. Perfect location for walks over the dunes to the beach with our two dogs.

Great week in Ty Cwyfan

This cottage was excellent to spend a week in and it had all the comforts of home. We especially liked the ensuite shower and toilet for each of the 3 bedrooms. Very quiet area and ideally situated fir restaurants ect and I will definitely book this cottage again.

Could do with better beds otherwise all's good Well equipped kitchen super fridge freezer great facilities for washing and drying although we didn't take advantage, and made use of pod point car charger and the courtyard was secure for our dog.thank you for a perfect stay

Aberffraw holiday

Very clean and well equipped cottage spacious living area with comfortable sofas bed was comfortable shower excellent good location for beach and touring Anglesey would definitely return.

Highly recommended for dog owners

The location has everything on its doorstep; rural walks, river estuary and beach, 'Cegin Bar' next door providing breakfast, brunch, lunch and afternoon tea, village shop, and recently re-opened pub, 'The Crown'. Our second time at Ty Cwyfan and third time at the Llys Llewellyn cottages. Accommodation is always clean, comfortable and in very good condition. Ideally suited to dog owners; lovely coastal walks and even doggy ice cream in the café. Would highly recommend. Rhosneigr just 10 minutes drive and Newborough beach and forest within easy reach. On arrival there was a problem with the locking mechanism to the front door but this was quickly resolved.

Comfortable holiday cottage in great location

The location of the accommodation was excellent, close to the beach and nice walks. The tea room/cafe next door was handy, as was the electric charging point we needed for our car. I would stay here again but wouldn’t give complete 5 star reviews for a few minor reasons - there could have been more basics provided, we had some complimentary biscuits, tea and coffee which was nice but everywhere else I’ve stayed normally give you a small carton of milk for when you arrive. We came late in the evening and then had to pop out to buy milk to make a drink. Also small things like a couple of dishwasher tablets, salt, pepper etc. are usually provided in my experience. We know we need to shop and buy a lot of things whilst on holiday but there was less than I’d usually find in a holiday cottage. Also there were no lamps so hard to get the lighting right at night in the lounge, the dimmers didn’t dim that effectively.

Ty Cwyfan is a gem of a place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ty Cwyfan in Aberffraw, Anglesey. Our accommodation was wonderful and we especially liked that all three bedrooms were ensuite. We also liked the open plan living / kitchen/dining area. Everything was spotless. The enclosed patio was good for our 2 small dogs. Aberffraw is a lovely little village and Anglesey has some of the most wonderful beaches in Wales. Our dogs certainly enjoyed the sandy beaches. Will definitely be returning here...

5th.visit .Excellent as always. If I had to be picky,perhaps a washing up bowl would be useful but otherwise the kitchen facilities are great. Also the quality bed linen and towels are another plus point.

Lovely place really enjoyed our stay , The double bed needs a topper on as you could feel the springs through the mattress, also the frying pan is too large for the cooker rings but apart from that no other problems .

A lovely stay apart from some issues with heating

Great property. We stayed for 3 weeks whilst visiting family in the village. Very convenient location for us! Unfortunately we had some issues with heating, the house was very cold, especially overnight, on windy days a breeze can be felt coming in through the windows, especially in bedrooms/bathrooms. Apparently there is some underfloor heating. We were told user error when it came to the panel on the wall in the kitchen, yet the 2 maintenance people that came (they did come in a timely manner) gave us 2 different sets of instructions, both we tried yet neither worked. We were given a couple of oil type radiator heaters to help with the situation but they couldn’t be left on due to safety issues with our toddlers being able to touch them etc and unfortunately we did all suffer from bad colds during our final week. Overall it’s a lovely property but would be better suited to a stay during the summer months.

Lovely short break

Third time staying here and will always return. The accommodation is wonderful and well fitted out. The surrounding area is stunning, even in the not so clement weather at this time of year.

Comfortable stay

A spacious apartment, good sized rooms, en suite with every bedroom and everything you might need for your stay. Good location for Newborough and Rhosneigr. You can walk from the accommodation along the river to a big beach which was great. The downside is that the village has very little in terms of amenities. The pub next door is closed. The cafe which is part of the complex had closed until the end of January. Will be different in season of course. There is also other accommodation above the twin rooms which isn't clear from the photos. A warning to dog owners that the little courtyard is not secure for larger/springy dogs, my spaniel leapt the wall. Overall, nice accommodation which is well-located for the beach, Newborough and Rhosneigr. The Oyster Catcher restaurant is a 5 minute drive and serves delicious food.

We chose this accommodation as the reviews were good but it did not live upto them. Beds really uncomfortable, now got a bad back. Some areas dusty and cobwebs. Sofas stained and smelly, had to buy fabric freshener to use. Paintwork in need of redoing in areas of every room. Arrived on a hot day to find blinds had been left open and the sun streaming in, the room was boiling. No fan available. Lovely area with beach and walks. Could be a nice holiday home but has been neglected. Certainly not worth the money we paid

Aberffraw stay

We love Aberffraw and stay as often as we can. Ty Cwyfan is a lovely place to stay. It is quiet and well equipped. We have stayed more than once. If you stay here I don’t think you will be disappointed. The beds need replacement as they are uncomfortable, but otherwise loved our stay. Note: The local pub has closed down, which is very sad to see for the village. Hopefully it will be sold and be able to reopen.
