Terrific cottage / house

Very quiet and scenic. Beautiful backyard with a fire pit. Wish we had the chance to do some kayaking or paddle boarding on the lake during our brief two day stay. All the amenities you could hope for as well. If you are coming in at night, be sure to look for the driveway right next to the church... it's a very dark entrance and the cottage sits way back off the road.

Everything and more

The property and all of the amenities were amazing. To wake up every morning with a perfect view and beautiful sunrises takes your breath away. This property makes you feel like your far from everything but, still close enough for groceries. My family really enjoyed the lake with the kayaks and paddle boards. If we are ever in the area again we will be booking with Linda!!

Fabulous Cottage on the Lake

Loved it! Hubby and I wanted a getaway weekend with the dog, couldn't have picked a better place! Fabulous cottage on the lake with kayaks and Paddleboards available for use. Not to mention the fire pit. We went hiking in nearby state park, ate locally, sat by the lake, and enjoyed the sunset. The cottage is quaint and cozy yet roomy enough to come back with the family. The owners are wonderful people, very kind and extremely helpful. Highly recommend this property. Definitely coming back in the, not so distant, future.

Great Lake for enjoying the sand.

Sunrise, great grounds boat moorage is as good as you need. Deep water exit. We had a great weekend fishing multiple lakes in the area. Will defiantly be repeating this stay.

Summer Kick Off!

This was such a fun place to unwind and get some quality family time with my boys ! The dog loved it so much too. The lake was clear and very nice for swimming and paddle boarding The fire pit is done perfectly and made every night special and the sleeping arrangements and cold AC were so comfy ! We will be back for sure ! The people who run this cabin are too notch!

Clinch Lake Cottage

The cottage was nothing like the pictures. Nothing matched. The oven was filthy. Spots on drapes. Crack in window torn screen door. Cabinets were a mess leftover food from other people.I could go on and on we left early no tv or internet until 24 hours later when the host had someone else bring their router over. Cobwebs and other things. We were reimbursed for one day but should have been for whole stay. It was the worst stay we have ever had. Used shampoo bottles and conditioner by sink in master with and orange facecloth. We own a rental cabin in Tennessee ,there is no way they would let our cabin rent the way that cottage is. This is the first and last time we will use vrbo.The furnishing looked like curbside finds. Mismatched chairs at table. End table in master by bed was a counter stool. I told the owner I don’t do reviews which I won’t. This is for your information only.

Weekend Getaway

This cottage is a hidden gem and just what we were looking for! My family (including our dogs) loved the cottage along with the large yard. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the beach and lake and saying hello to the cows next door. The owners were so nice. We will be going back again soon!

Family loved the Cottage on Lake Clinch

My family stayed at Linda’s house for the week and the house fit all of our needs. The lake and private beach out the back door, the kayaks and paddle boards to allow us to explore the lake, the more than ample areas for fishing allowed all of us to individually and as a family to enjoy our time at the house. We loved the many lake house items incorporated into the house...surf board tables...lake house signs and decorations...they all added to the feel of the house. Linda is so responsive and so accommodating and even though she lives next door, she avoids invading your space. My family enjoys the interaction so we engaged in conversation with her and she was so willing to chat and provide advice to our fisherman, it was wonderful having her family to say hello to! We would definitely return to this treasure on Lake Clinch!

Relaxing lakehouse

Just what we hoped for! Beautiful view, plenty of room inside and out, white sandy beach, everything you need for a relaxing getaway at the lake. Would absolutely love to visit again in the future.

Was one of our best spring break trips ever.

Everything was relaxing and shopping close by. If you like the water, swimming, fishing, paddle boarding, nature watching, this is the place.

We Loved It

We absolutely loved our time at Clinch Cottage. The cottage itself is beautiful and the owners are great people. We loved everything and honestly would have stayed another week had it not been rented out. Finding it was a bit difficult at first but they came and met us and we followed them there. The town itself doesn't have much available as for stores.... there's a Save a lot for groceries, a couple Dollar Generals, and a couple gas stations. Thank you guys again, we loved it and perhaps will have the opportunity to visit again.

Great family get-away.

Cozy lake cottage with everything you need for a great time at the lake. Loved having access to kayaks and paddle boards. Enjoyed the different areas created for lounging and enjoying the beautiful lake view. Had a fire pit every night in the circular area just for that purpose. I feel a little picky by saying the following but may be helpful to the owners. Many cobwebs, with some dust throughout the house. It would be nice to fix the toilet paper roller in the upstairs bath. That reminds me... the upstairs is great for kids and the view is so so nice. Would definitely return. Had a great time.

Rustic Cottage in Beautiful Setting

The cottage was comfortable and roomy. Comfortable bed and several pillow options. Good water pressure and large shower. FYI, the water supply is a well. No dishwasher or garbage disposal, but that wasn't a big deal for us. All of the windows at the back of the cottage provide a great view of the lake and the colorful sunrises and sunsets. Only negative was the cleanliness... there was a lot of dust and cob webs and a couple gecko carcasses on the windowsills.

Awesome!

Just had a very relaxing time at the cottage! The lake view was spectacular. Was able to use the kayak for fishing. Seen Eagles on the beach in the evening. Every thing was well stocked and well kept. Thanks so much for having us.

Lovely spot!!

Plenty of room to spread out, kitchen fully stocked. There was coffee to get us through the first morning and that’s always a nice touch. Beds are comfy and if you want some TV on a rainy day, there’s plenty of them and WiFi. Fire pit and outdoor seating are great, BBQ grill had a full tank. Everything you need for some chill time .

Our vacation in the time of COVID-19

The cottage is very cute and cozy. The location is perfect, close to the city but secluded enough in front of the lake with a dock that allowed us to do several water activities (kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing). We enjoyed the fire pit and just relaxing on the deck looking at the calm lake was exactly what we needed it. The separate spaces for the adults in the first floor and the kids in the second floor was ideal. In addition, we brought our three dogs and I could tell you that they had a blast as well.

Location Location

We rented this property for a place to stay while competing in a National Championship that was being held nearby. The Championship was postponed due to Covid19 but owner worked wonderfully with me to change my dates not only once but twice. Checkin in was perfect. And the view was purely relaxing. Much better than waking up to a hotel parking lot view. I plan on staying again next time I am in town for an event.

Relaxing!!

We had a wonderful time at Clinch Cottage in Frostproof, FL. The owners are amazingly kind and considerate and helped make our stay such a pleasant experience. Our only regret is that we didn't book it earlier so we could have had more time to spend there.

I have always admired this particular Lake due to its clear water and sand beaches and the homes around the lake were nice as well. As a child, I would ride the bus past this lake and think one day I would hope to own a piece of it - so dreams do come true.

This property is unique because it is a cottage nestled among much larger homes and they each have their own private lakefront. The cottage is a rustic style and the wood floors were reclaimed from Cracker Barrel restaurants. The cottage has wood floors, wood ceilings with a surfboard kitchen bar and a surfboard coffee table. It has an outdoor deck and a new swinging daybed with a covered roof. The Cottage is 2 stories with a bed and bath on each floor. The cottage also has great views from the living room windows that overlook the large yard, sand beach, and lake. Herons, ducks, eagles, and sandhill cranes will be your daily visitors.
