I really enjoyed my stay. It was peaceful, close to nature and beach, and most importantly friendly and respectful neighbours.It felt like living in your own home.I would love to go back again when its possible with the busy city life

Instructions were clear and the property was a delight! A beautiful and peaceful spot next to the National Park. Very clean and comfortable, we did not need for anything.

An excellent property that was warm in winter and as close to the National Park as any property in Marion Bay. Great for couple or with two kids. In a quiet cul de sac adjacent the bush with full surround outside deck and a bush garden. All the essentials for cooking and relaxing. Slow combustion heater was very effective and also has aircon. Very helpful host.

We arrived and were pleasantly surprised by our little house for the next few days. The photos don't do it justice. Everything was clean and comfortable and the views and wildlife were icing on the cake. Highly recommended and we'll be back.

Great location.

A fantastic location and great accommodation. Everything you would require for a stay was supplied. The outside settings were most enjoyable. The friendly emus were polite visitors.

Perfect get away

Clean and comfortable with everything we needed, the property is exactly as described. Location details and check-in were very easy. Property is in an beautiful location, right next to the national park which is absolutely amazing. We had lots of local birdlife and a few kangaroos visit while we were there. We could have stayed longer.

Nice house in great location

We had a great week's stay in Edge of Innes. We have stayed here several times now and would gladly stay again. We love the house and the location. It was nice seeing kangaroos and lots of birds from inside the house, and it's close to a beautiful beach and to Innes National Park. My main reason for not giving five stars on this stay is that I found the supplied pillows hard and uncomfortable, I will try to remember to bring my own pillows next time.

We did really enjoy our stay at Edge of the Innes cottage, which was very relaxing and refreshing. It was great to be such close to the park and the beach (lots of walking!) and also to stay in such nice (well equipped) cottage.

Wonderful Winter Getaway

The Edge of Innes property is just brilliant. Comfortable for my family in the winter. Beautiful bush surrounds the house and a wraparound deck. Many options to sit and watch/listen to nature. The beach is just a short walk away. We spent time on the 'viewing deck' watching the winter ocean. Kangaroos and emus were seen most mornings and nights. What a wonderful accommodation Brian!

Peace and Privacy

Edge of Innes is in an exceptional location, with views from the living space across the bushland. We had kangaroos coming right up to the deck and a host of birdlife in the surrounding trees. The beautiful Willyama Beach is a short walk away. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The host was quick to respond and all the information on the stay was detailed and accurate. We would definitely recommend this stay and would love to visit again.

I recently stayed at a charming accommodation that truly exceeded my expectations in many ways. Nestled in a picturesque location, it offers stunning scenery that is nothing short of breathtaking. The surroundings provided a perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway, with beautiful landscapes that are ideal for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. The property itself is well-equipped with all the amenities one could need. The kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to prepare meals, and the living spaces were comfortable and inviting. However, the only downside was the mattresses. They were not as comfortable as one would hope for a place like this.Upgrading the mattresses would greatly enhance the sleeping experience, ensuring that guests can fully rest and recharge. Lovely place in a beautiful natural setting

We loved this cute, simple place. In a quiet location right next to the National Park, it had everything we needed. The town has one pub and one shop and you can get most things there. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a getaway at the Edge of Innes. Absolutely loved the location, felt like we were in the middle of the bush. So peaceful, quiet and relaxing. The house had everything we needed, was clean and tidy. The location is perfect, so easy to access the township and also to head into the national park for day trips. We haven't stopped recommending this place to our friends and family since we have been home, we will definitely be back. Just to top it off, on our last day we had a family of 7 emus stroll right by and over into the scrub us as we were sitting on the deck, spectacular.

Peace & tranquility

With the national park & wildlife at your doorstep, plus the beach only a few minutes walk away, Edge of Innes is an excellent base to explore from & the perfect place to relax, unwind & recharge. The accommodation is well set out, having everything required for a comfortable stay. The views of nature from every window were amazing and it was so very peaceful and quiet. Sitting out on the decking watching the many different species of birds enjoying the bird bath was a highlight. Also, the short trek (20 minutes) to Jolly beach was well worth it. We loved our time here & highly recommend Edge of Innes to everyone.

I have spent a lot of my life growing up in Adelaide and as a teenager i was lucky enough to come across the beautiful area of the bottom of the York Peninsula & explore the coast as I developed a love for the ocean. Surfing, fishing & bush walking is something I still will travel the world to explore what nature has to offer. Marion Bay has become a great holiday getaway for me & my family over the years & we look forward to our future visits and discoveries.

Back in the early 90's I heard a good friend was selling his block & when I discovered it was the last block before the National Park I just had to ask if he was interested in selling and shortly after some discussions we were lucky enough to purchase this unique property and have enjoyed many holidays on this special spot in South Australia.

Year after year because of the prime location of "Edge Of Innes", wildlife ventures out of the National park and into our back yard, kangaroos & baby emus are fun to watch from the deck.
