What a wonderful holiday retreat! Peetsfields is cosy, comfortable and an amazing place to switch off and relax. The hosts Sally and Martin are so welcoming and went above and beyond to make us all feel at home and ensure we had everything we needed. Their property is beautiful and conveniently located to local townships and main snow locations like Mt Hotham/Dinner plain and Mt Buffalo. We hope to return again one day!

Best stay ever !!!

It is a great location with stunning views in the lap of nature. Host are wxtremely helpful , polite and folks to die for. Located is nestles in the lap if nature , with mix of antique and modern styling. A perfect place to unwind and relax. Will come here often. It was a great time chatting with Martin and Sallu

Lovely Indian summer in Freiburg

Martin and Sally have the most beautiful property with gorgeous gardens that come out in autumn colours. Very well appointed guest house with outdoor furniture and pool we used copiously. Brought bikes , 1k down the pretty gravel hill to the Harrietville bike path. Friendly dog Tory on property, plus kangaroos, deer, cockatoos..

Good old country serenity & hospitality

From first contact we experienced great communication, a very warm welcome from Jenny and so many thoughtful touch’s and provisions in the cottage (eg bottle of wine and homemade apple slice) that we have been delightfully surprised. This would be our best accomodation experience in a long time. Thank you so Much Jenny. You are a beautiful soul and made our stay so special.

A magical spot

We really felt ‘at home’ quite quickly, as Sally and Martin were very accommodating and friendly. Some welcome port, cake & wine were a nice touch. I don’t think I’ve stayed anywhere that was so spotlessly clean and well furnished before. The location was magnificent, with great pubs & ski fields not that far away. It wasn’t hard to relax or unwind either, soaking up the views and listening to the native birds in the private gardens. Thanks again.

Winterwonderland

We came up for the snow and had a lovely surprise that we could tabagon down or own hill on tbe property. Hosts asre amazing and very generous. Accommodation was veey cosy and comfortable. I was worried we would be cold but instead very toastie with the open fireplace. We will be back for sure :)

Beautifully Secluded Bliss

We were fortunate to find this little delight. Sally and Martin were the wonderfuls hosts. We were greeted by thier beautiful dog and some delicious port and cake upon arrival. Sally and Martins property was beautiful, with a homley feel. They were extremely knowlegable about the area and had some lovley advice on where to go and what to see. My daughter felt right at home playing in the cubby and racing around with the dogs on the property. We couldnt have asked for a better week and would return. Thankyou for a peaceful getaway and making us feel so very welcomed.

Stunning hillside getaway for bike riders...

...close to great bike path (Murray to Mountains) including the newly resurfaced, magnificent Bright-Harrietville section. Sweet! Farmstay hosts Sally and Martin are wonderful, couldn't do enough for us, and are each amazing characters in their own right. Sally can also prepare an above-average breakfast! So much to see and do in this area, we easily filled a full week.

Family Easter Break

Gorgeous cottage with beautiful views of the valley just a short 8 - 10 minutes drive from Bright. Great to get away from the hustle and bustle. Sally and Martin are great hosts, and have set up the property to make it very comfortable and homely. We enjoyed an evening outside fire. Beds are comfortable. Our adult children enjoyed sleeping up on the mezzanine level - although they were woken by "Easter Bunny" rustling through the packets. We also made the most of the beautiful weather and went for a dip down at the river close by. Terrific spot, I think younger children would love it.

Wonderful stay at Peetsfields

My family and I had a fantastic time staying in a gorgeous, self contained cottage at Peetsfields. The owners Sally and Martin exude warmth and went out of their way to provide a wonderful stay which included a surprise bottle of wine and homemade brownies upon arrival. The accomodation is really lovely and my children had a wonderful time playing in the pool and checking on the chickens everyday. Gorgeous setting with a short drive into the township of Bright. We are very happy to have discovered Peetsfield and will be back.

Impeccable hospitality

Ideal location far enough away from town for tranquility but close enough for convenience. There is lots of immaculate garden in between the house and the main residence so it still feels completely private. Sally and Martin went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as pleasant as possible. The mattresses are memory foam.

Amazing Alpine Retreat

Your hosts are the loveliest people and will do their very best to make your stay comfortable, relaxing and everything you want it to be. Their guest house is inviting, well equipped, has comfortable beds and seating and lots of lovely touches, including home baked brownies, sweets and wine upon arrival. We loved our stay and hope to be back one day.

Beautiful & amazing property

We loved our stay at Peetsfield! The cottage was a comfortable size for a family of 3. The cottage was very clean and well stocked with all items needed for our stay. The views and gardens were gorgeous and we loved Tori (Martin & Sally's dog)! My son (10 yo) loved Tori and Abby (Tori's golden retriever friend)! Its a great place for kids, my son enjoyed checking on the chickens in the morn and collecting eggs for breakfast, playing with Tori and wandering around the beautiful gardens and property. The location was peaceful and tranquil, saw lots of kangaroos, the fireplace kept the cottage warm & cozy! Sally and Martin were very warm and welcoming and just lovely hosts! We didnt want to leave & even stayed an extra night! It was our first trip to the area and we will definitely visit again. The only small issue we had was the wifi didnt work, however we used our data on our phones, therefore this wasn't an inconvenience to us. Thank you again Sally and Martin, Peetsfield is amazing!

Cosy cabin

Second time staying at peetsfield and once again did not disappoint! Kitchen is well equipped, electric heater does a good job of keeping the house warm in winter but the fireplace is excellent! Beautiful property and great area to explore. We’ll be back again! Thank you Sally, Martin, Jan & Craig!

Beautiful house
