The cottage is in a quiet, bushy area with access to the water and only a few hundred metres to boat ramp and an excellent general provision store with boat hire, fishing tackle, bait, car and boat fuel. Ski hire is available within a short drive to the lovely mountain township of Adaminaby or onsite at Selwyn Ski Resort.
“Currawong Cottage” at Angler’s Reach, is on a small, pretty peninsular on the ‘Providence Arm’ of Lake Eucumbene, possibly the biggest and best trout fishing lake in Australia. Just 14 kilometers out of Adaminaby township on the Snowy Mountains Highway. A thirty minute drive to Mount Selwyn snowfields with excellent family skiing, or a little over one hour to Thredbo and Perisher via Jindabyne and the Skitube. Excellent all-weather sealed road access from North, South, East, and West.
Cottage location:
Turn left off the Snowy Mountains Highway, approximately 2 kilometres on Kiandra side of Adaminaby at signposts “Anglers Reach 14 kilometres”. Travel 7 kilometres to ‘T’ junction at Old Adaminaby – turn right and travel a further 7 kilometres to Anglers Reach village.
