Excellent house for multi- generational stay with activities for all age groups...tennis court needs significant maintenance but everything else about the house good for large family holiday

Great stay for conference visit

Our youth group was attending a conference in katoomba at KCC and needed a place to stay. This house turned out to be such a great space for our large group. The kitchen is great, large dining table was awesome, plenty of rooms and bathrooms. The property manager Kerrith was particularly helpful and easy to deal with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A few other reviews mentioned some worn fittings and fixtures, we noticed some of these but it by no means outweighed how nice the space was and for what it is this place is priced well. Thanks for a lovely stay.

In need of maintenance

Stayed here Easter 2024 with friends and family. Adequate space for our group although two couples had to sleep in cramped double beds, another stayed in a king Linen, towels and kitchen facilities were good. The property is in need of some basic maintenance-eg. front door handle is loose and hard to turn, upstairs towel rack isn't properly fixed to the wall, dryer has intermittent issues. Tennis court can't be used: I advised at the time of booking (months ahead of our stay) that we wanted to use the tennis court. The grass on the court was the same length as the rest of the lawn and didn't allow a tennis ball to bounce properly during a game. Pretty disappointing given the high rental price and that the court is an advertised feature of the property.

Greenhills Accommodation

Hi, My large family and I spent a lovely four days here to celebrate my wife’s 70th birthday. Pity it rained each day, but that is one thing you cannot book. The house and gardens are awesome with everything supplied, although there are a number of maintenance issues. Main bathroom shower door seal nearly broken off causing water to run on the floor that had to mopped up continuously. One of the upstairs sofa beds (believe quite new) timber frame broken, therefore could not sleep on it. Back of leather lounge broken, which nearly caused a serious accident with two of my young grandchildren. Patio table very unstable. Patio lounge broken and needs to be replaced. One of the timber garden bench seats falling apart with rusty screws exposed. The only two snooker room cue sticks that were available are taped up. Grass tennis court very disappointing, as far too many large dirt patches, maybe even have it resurfaced if budget allows. This beautiful holiday location can be made perfect, as it is such a pity that these simple maintenance issues have been overlooked by the owners. I will possibly return to stay here again. Mums weekend away

Amazing property! We were a group of 8 mums away for the weekend. Great location and short drive to the Grand Canyon walk which we all did on the Saturday. We had dinner at Zoe’s in Blackheath which was a 5mins drive and great Mexican food. Our only ask would be to request more mirrors, 8 women getting ready and the only mirrors were in the bathrooms. We can’t fault the property otherwise. We all had a great relaxing, chilled weekend away

Surprise getaway with friends

Great location and house. Perfect for a large group booking with plenty of space for everyone. Unfortunately the tennis court was closed due to the wet weather, but all other facilities on the property were great. Would definitely book this property again.

Large comfortable home

House was great. Kitchen well equipped and we enjoyed the property. The only issue we had was the games room. It was freezing. Photos showed a working fire place however the fireplace was boarded up. We played pool but had to stop as it was too cold. games shed need a functioning heater. Would highly recommend property for everything else.

Christmas in July

A fantastic property - exactly as photos shown. Ideally suited for 9+ adults - plenty of space and areas to relax. Well maintained and quiet grounds. Extremely well stocked kitchen - ample crockery, glasses - every utensil needed is supplied. We had a great weekend even had a visit from Santa - and have every intention to return.

WOW!

The photos don't do this place justice! It was so beautiful, incredibly clean it honestly was like no one had ever lived in there. The kitchen was stocked up and ready to host big groups! we loved the beautiful tree out the back and the heating throughout the home. We will absolutely be returning. Thank you.

Family Getaway

Great location, large house suitable for family gatherings, just needs a bit of love - repainted walls, new couches etc; and shame about the new builds going up on the same block, really takes away the 'country feel'. Property manager Kerrith was amazing. Super responsive and above and beyond helpful!

Great size property. Good location. Could do with a floor lamp and some cushions. Quite dorm-like but great for a large group who want their own beds. Lovely sunny lounge room and kitchen. Great kitchen for cooking in.

Travelling Square Dancers

This was a beautiful spacious property, with plenty of room to mix and do your own thing. Well-appointed to accommodate our square dance gear. Fabulous extended family weekend away.

Fabulous home that suited our needs perfectly. Enormous main room and dining table that fitted everyone. Well equiped kitchen. Garden was pretty and the kids loved the pool room.
