Appartement bien situé mais à rafraîchir sérieusement

Appartement bien situé proche des cabines, boulangerie et magasin de skis. La cuisine est correctement équipée. L’appartement est vieillissant et mérite un bonne rénovation: la literie n’est pas confortable : lit double - de 140!!!- matelas horrible, lit superposé coin montagne idem. Les locataires passent dans les communs avec les chaussures de ski au pieds malgré qu’il soit bien affiché partout que c’est interdit, ou rentrent tard et parlent fort dans les couloirs : c’est très dérangeant car la chambre et le coin montagne sont mitoyens aux communs. La propreté est limite il y avait par exemple de grandes toiles d’araignées au plafond près de la fenêtre, le sol aurait pu être plus net et la vaisselle a du en partie être lavée avant usage. En bougeant un fauteuil on a constaté qu’ils sont rarement déplacés pour faire le ménage. Nous avons fini par abandonner la chambre et dormir dans le divan-lit (pas beaucoup plus confortable) du salon: le volet mécanique pour occulter la pièce se manœuvre péniblement. Une erreur de traduction dans l’annonce nous a induit en erreur sur la présence de Wi-Fi qui était un de nos critères pour le choix de cet appartements. La communication avec l’agence est très fluide et facile.

Great location

This apartment met all our essential requirements for a great skiing week - proximity to GME and with bakery, restaurant & ski shop underneath. The apartment is adequately equipped and has an all important (for us) bath for after a day on the slopes! Plenty of room for 2 but could be a squeeze for 4 or more. Good communication with hosts, who responded promptly to a query during our stay. Would stay again.

Super location excellent hosts

Could not be better located above bakery and pizzaria. Ski hire shop and GME lift a stones throw. Really appreciated the responsive communication from the host before departure and during our stay. Fie stars!

Parfait pour aller skier

A deux pas du grand massif express, de la location de ski, de la boulangerie. Un local à ski est disponible à la cave (très accessible et sèche). L'appartement est très pratique et plutôt joli. On accède facilement au village si besoin. Si vraiment il faut trouver un point négatif, je dirais que le volet est un peu difficile à remonter. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour et espérons pouvoir revenir.

Genoten van ons verblijf

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf. Voldoende ruim voor vier personen. Qua locatie zeer handig voor skiërs, want bakker en liften zeer dichtbij. Het is een wat ouder gebouw, dus de akoestiek is wat minder goed maar net te doen. De matrassen zijn ook niet super, maar net te doen.

Location, location, location

This property couldn't be in a better location. Just 5 minutes walk to the lake and park, 2 minutes to the lift and 10 minutes walk into the centre of town. It is also positioned above a great bakers and pizza restaurant.....what more could you want?! The appartment itself is well laid out with plenty of space for a family of 4. The living area is larger then it appears in the pictures and the balcony is an added bonus. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we have needed. The apartment is a great place to stay and explore the area from. I am sure we will return as this apartment has everything you need for the makings of a great holiday.

Superb location close to the ski lift on the morning .

It was perfect for accessing the ski lift . With a bakery underneath the apartment breakfast muffins were quick and easy to get! We walked into town for restaurants and the local information guide was helpful. If I was to say what I didn’t like - hence 4* not 5 - it was the lack of access to WiFi and the tv had no world news or even skiing programmes in French so it was a total waste of time ! Luckily I was with friends so didn’t need to entertain myself but in this day and age WiFi is an expectation on holiday . My friends apartment over the road had it so this could too! Otherwise it was a great stay, thanks

What a location - so convenient for all you need

Wonderfully situated apartment in great resort of sameons. We enjoyed an amazing ski break and maximised our time on slopes by being so close to the ski lift, a great bakery below for fresh daily croissants and bread, and accommodated nicely in a smart, comfortable and cosy apartment. With bar, pizzeria and ski hire all below too - what else could you ask for? I am back next year ! Jo

A cosy apartment in a fantastic location

Fully contained apartment that meet all our needs and expectations. Easily accommodated 5 adults, with plenty of room to store all our ski kit. The apartment was very clean, with loads of hot water and the open plan kitchen/diner/lounge area provided a nice area to relax and socialise. Large balcony with fantastic views of the picturesque village of Sameons and surrounding mountains. Lots of facilities in the immediate vecinity include, bakery with bar, ski hire and pizzeria, the only difficult job is deciding who is going to get the croissants in time for breakfast! The biggest bonus of this apartment is that you can walk 50 meters to the main Gondolier, leading up to the Grand Massif Mountain range with over 273km of first class pistes. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment for a summer of winter break and we will definitely be returning again next year!

Nice apartment in great location

This apartment is ideally located right next to the ski lift and a short walk into the picturesque village of Samoens. It took under an hour to get from Geneva and has fantastic ski-ing on the doorstep. The apartment is well looked after and has everything you need - comfortable beds, plenty of hot water, space and storage for at least 4/5 people. We will be back!

Great Girls Mini-Break!!

Fantastic apartment in a great ski area! Close enough to Geneva to make a short holiday, with immediate access up onto the 'Grand Massif' ski area. Fantastic bakery under the apartment for breakfast and great pizza place for dinner (try the 'goat's cheese and honey' pizza, honestly it's a treat!). Apartment is clean and stylish, and much larger than most ski apartments! We (4 girls) went for a few days break from the children and it was a perfect location, perfect skiing, perfect getaway!!

June Jolly in Samoens!

Lovely and restful location. Mountains all around carpeted in wild flowers. Beautiful walks - from a gentle amble to full on hike. An unspoilt Alpine village which has lots to offer - great restaurants and friendly locals. Apartment delightful location next to the river.

Can't get any closer to the lift in Samoens! And as a resort Samoens is much less developed than Chamonix and Morzine and offers a much better family atmosphere without compromising on the skiing.

Bakery for breakfast on the ground floor and pizza for dinner. Ski and snowboard hire in the complex, discounts available to all guests. Can't get more convenient than this. You really can't get any closer to the only lift to the skiing - no buses, no faffing about!
