As our primary residence, the home is meticulously maintained and professionally cleaned before every stay. Guests enjoy full and private access to all areas—indoor and outdoor.
We’re proud parents of five children and eleven amazing grandchildren, and one of our greatest joys is spending peaceful mornings on the back porch swing, sipping coffee while watching deer wander through the trees.
With our large family spread across the country, we travel often—and during those times, we love sharing Teal Paradise with others. This home has been the backdrop for countless treasured memories, and it brings us great joy to make it available for other families to experience as well.
Please note: Teal Paradise is our primary residence and rented part-time. Be sure to book early to secure your stay at this one-of-a-kind retreat.

We loved staying at Teel Paradise; it was perfect for our large family. Cindy was very responsive to all calls and emails and worked with us on our budget. The pool was fabulous and the amenities & accommodations were great. They went over and above to make our stay great. I've stayed in a number of VRBO properties, but none have provided the extras that Cindy provided for our trip. Overall - it was great; we will plan to stay here again!
Older kids loved the pool.
Fun to see wildlife on the property.

Teal Paradise was just perfect!

The property was amazing. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The property was clean and well taken care of. The children's loft was a big hit with my granddaughters. Teal Paradise keeps us coming back!

We enjoy Teal Paradise so much that we keep coming back. This summer was our 3rd stay and our grands are already talking about coming back next summer. It is the perfect set up for our family of 8 adults and 5 children. We all have room to spread out in the spacious home and the outdoor area is unbeatable. Everything from the sparkling pool, hot tub, outdoor seating, fire pit, gas grill and lush landscaping make for a great outdoor experience. Only problem is the weekend was too short. Cindy is a great host and thinks of every detail to help your stay be hassle free. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back again.

Teal Paradise is fabulous!

Truly a resort experience but in a home. Amenities galore, wonderful large pool with waterfall, hot tub and swim-up ledge for drinks or food, Bedrooms off the large deck, each with private bath. Kitchen has every utensil and tool needed for any meal. Large windows on the deck looking onto the pool to keep an eye on kids. A/C works great in the hottest part of Summer. Quiet and secluded from other houses in the area. Homeowner thinks of everything a guest might need. This was our second year to rent and will rent again!

Great for family of 10 (ages 13-84)

The accommodation is expansive and offered plenty of room for activities (water, cooking inside and outside, video and board games) as well as privacy for resting. The kitchen cabinets as well as other areas were labeled as to contents which helped in locating items. Both inside and outside were clean and well kept and the property manager was very gracious and helpful.

Another wonderful stay!

This is our second time to stay at Teal Paradise and it was just as amazing as the first. Between the game room, toy room and pool we stayed busy and best of all kept the kiddos entertained! Our group age range was from 3 to 63 and there was something for all of us! My mother in law uses a walker and needs help to get around at times and she was very comfortable. The adjustable bed in the master bedroom was great for her! She was able to get around in the house and on the back deck comfortably so she could enjoy the scenery and watch her grandkids play. The scenery is beautiful and I personally loved walking around the property and checking out all of the beautiful plants. There are so many different places and different kinds of seating to relax outside. And best of all, the whole area is shaded! The host is wonderful and the extra little things such as the snack baskets brought a smile to our faces as soon as we walked in! I learned from last time and barely had to pack anything because so much is provided. I could go on and on about how wonderful Teal Paradise is.. we can’t wait to go back!

A perfect big family vacation spot

The property was beautiful and accommodated our three generation of family. The home and the property served all ages. The home information did not do the property full justice. The owners provided everything that we needed. We had plenty of towels for the pool and for the home. We had every spice in alphabetical order. We had a plethora of cooking essentials. The surprise snack baskets were appreciated and consumed. The beds were very comfortable. Bathroom essentials were provided and used as we forgot some items. Everything was labeled so we didn’t have to hunt for what we needed. Unfortunately, a huge storm came, and we had to leave early due to no electricity. We enjoyed the inside areas and the outside areas as we gather with our family for food, fun and games.

Perfect Getaway!

This is our second time to stay at Teal Paradise. We liked it so much last summer that we returned for another great weekend. Our family of 8 adults and 5 children enjoyed the indoor and outdoor space. Plenty of room for everyone and the grands loved the pool. The owner responds quickly to any questions or concerns. We have stayed at many VRBOs and this is by far the best one. I don't want to keep bragging on it because I am afraid it will be all booked up next summer and we will not be able to get our weekend booked!

Now where do I begin, Cindy was the sweetest and most professional rental I have had thus far. She accommodated and was patient with me the whole way through the booking process and getting access to the property. I had a group of 15 ladies to come to Holly Lake for a girls weekend and when I say we had the best time...we had the best time. The house was emaculant and the pictures does it no justice. Cindy had snacks in two common areas, anything you may have forgotten to pack she had them in baskets in every restroom, and the space for relaxation was BIG!!!!! Every bed was comfortable, every room had a smart TV, and the kitchen had every gadget you possibly needed. One thing about the kitchen, EVERYTHING is labeled so you know where everything is. Now let's talk about the POOL. We booked in March so the weather was Iffy so we opted to PAY to get the pool heated and it was the best decision we could have made. We hoped in the pool than went over to the Jacuzzi that was heated and ready for relaxation. Another thing is Cindy sent a reminder of check out and the check out rules which made it easy to know what was expected foe check out. TEAL PARADISE was beyond AMAZING and I plan on booking real soon!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Cindy for your generous hospitality and availing your home to us, we greatly appreciate you and look forward to returning again!!!! Wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday

Our family of 13, ages 5-68 had a wonderful Thanksgiving at this beautiful house. We have stayed at many vacation rentals and this house is the cleanest and best-appointed house we have stayed in. It offers great communal spaces and privacy for each bedroom. The kids enjoyed the bonus room while the adults made use of the campfire pit. Cindy is a great host providing snacks and toiletries. We hope to return!

Great Family Trip!

This was the perfect place for our annual Labor Day trip. We had family from Texas and Oklahoma ranging in ages from 70 to 1 and everyone had a great time! Cindy was quick to respond to any questions and we appreciated all of the special touches like snacks and toiletries. We will be back!

Spectacular property

The description on VRBO does not adequately describe the outstanding level of amenities, comforts, and attention to detail in this house. It is truly a resort property, where everything you might need is already there, from the FULLY equipped kitchen, to the bathrooms stocked with toiletries, to seating everywhere, to large deck with multiple seating areas, to fantastic pool stocked with pool toys, floats, blue tooth speakers, rock diving ledge, and safety equipment. The house is decorated with the taste of someone who appreciates a well organized and well appointed home, with TVs almost everywhere and LABELS on every closet, cabinet and drawer. Everything about the house shows thoughtfulness for use and consideration for the guests. The hosts were on top of everything and responded quickly. Fantastic rental, top of my list!

Incredible home and amenities

We had a large group of family and a friend stay at Teal Paradise. The home is superbly equipped. Communication with the owner is the best we’ve experienced. The house is built for large groups with amazing swimming and common areas, while also providing all guests with great privacy. We couldn’t be happier with our stay.

Superior attention to detail with fabulous amenities. Don't miss this one!

Exceptionally beautiful and well kept property. We had elders and toddlers to teens. The resort offers allot, but we found no reason to leave Teal Paradise. Our host truly offered everything. The beauty of a resort setting with the comforts of home gave us all the very best time we could have anywhere. It's perfect. Truly perfect. We hope to visit again. Teal Paradise is our new favorite thing!

Perfect place to get away

The pictures of Teal Paradise do not do it justice. This beautiful property has just about everything amenity you could imagine and is tucked away from neighbors. The owners have thought about everything you could need for your stay. It’s refreshing to visit a rental that is this nicely kept up. We have been to this property twice now and will certainly be going back again in the future.

We’re are the proud parents of five children and eleven amazing grandchildren. One of our greatest joys is spending peaceful mornings on the back porch swing at Teal Paradise, sipping coffee while watching deer wander through the trees.

With our large family spread across the country, we travel often — and during those times, we love sharing our home with others. Teal Paradise has been the backdrop for countless treasured memories, and it brings us great joy to make it available for others to enjoy as well.

Please note: Teal Paradise is our primary residence, and we rent it part-time. Be sure to book early to secure your stay at this one-of-a-kind retreat.

Teal Paradise is more than just a vacation home — it’s the fulfillment of a heartfelt dream. We spent years searching across Texas for a place that felt truly special. The moment we arrived at this hidden gem, surrounded by towering pines and immersed in nature, we knew we had found our home.

We instantly fell in love with the peaceful forest setting and envisioned a retreat where relaxation, nature, and family memories could come together. Over time, we’ve lovingly transformed Teal Paradise with meaningful touches — from the custom heated pool with its swim-up bar, rain curtain, and waterfalls (a grandkid favorite) to the cozy back porch where we sip coffee and watch deer graze at sunrise.
