Great cabin!

This cabin offers a great open community space. The upstairs offers lots of space and then back deck is awesome. The property is everything it said it was.

ski weekend

Beautiful cabin with a great deck and hot tub. Inside is big and spacious and comfortable. Surprisingly though, there are virtually no hooks anywhere to hang jackets, towels, ski gear etc. We just used the stair railings to hang ski gear. Overall, we had a great stay!

Retreat in the woods

This was a beautiful property! We loved the rustic decor that went so well with the surroundings. The treetop feel had us referring to it as our "Swiss Family Robinson" retreat. The hot tub was arguably the favorite of the family. The kitchen was well stocked and a delight to cook in. The only downside was the tub jets in the master tub that blew black gunk when turned on. We choose not to use them. The cabin is very close to the Alpine Zoo and Tanks donuts which were favorites with our family!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely home with great layout (living areas upstairs), bedrooms and baths and laundry downstairs. Only suggestions: be sure to leave laundry detergent for guests, get a new hairdryer for guests to use, and make sure the DVD player in the living room works and there are clear directions for guests on how to use.

Great Cabin

Great stay. Cabin looks exactly like the photos but better. Very good condition. Bring your own paper towels, dishwasher soap and trash bags (for as much as this place costs per night, one would think it should be included). Two other minor things were that the hot tub jets did not work and the front walk was not shoveled. Fell several times bringing in our items (liability since there was not even an attempt?). Otherwise, highly recommended.

We provide starter soap, paper towels, toilet paper and trash bags. We DO shovel and salt walkways before every guest but when it snows daily during some periods we are unable to remove the fresh snow. We do leave shovels and salt at each property incase we are unable to return to shovel fresh snow. We would love to let you know that the issues you brought to our attention have been fixed. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property we originally booked was dirty so management offered to move us to this property or another one on the spot. Overall, this house was clean and comfortable. However, the property needs a few upgrades. There is no door between the master bedroom and bathroom which was rather awkward when using the toilet. A simple tension rod with a curtain would solve this issue. Also, there is no closet in the master bedroom. A few hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes would be helpful. The bedroom door squeaks very badly. Upstairs in the main living area and kitchen, there are no curtains on the windows. The heat from the sun made it unbearable to sit in this room. A ceiling fan would help in the kitchen area. Overall, the property management provided good customer service.

Overall, good stay

Great Place!

Lack of Maintenance

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I understand that staffing issues abound, but I do need to give my an honest opinion of our stay to others because after all I planned a perfect snowy anniversary week there alone with my wife and spent over 3200 hard earned dollars. The cabin was very spacious and really beautiful. The heater and fireplace were very warm although the heater was slightly erratic and the filter in hallway was pretty dirty. The living room sofa sleeper as a couch was a little saggy, but the 3 chairs were all very large and comfy. The material on all the living room furniture is very durable, but abrasive so we used sheets or blankets to cover. The 70" TV in living room is great, but others are old. The cable service + Roku extras were a nice surprise. The appliances were functional as were the faucets and hot water availability. The deck hot tub lid was falling apart and the jets weren't working. They tried to fix but couldn't so disappointing we had every intention of sitting in it while it was snowing, but couldn't. The Master tub shot black particles out of the jets which was unacceptable as well. The sliding doors to deck were difficult and we couldn't lock the screens to corral dog in. There were other small issues all due to lack of maintenance, which with all the documents you sign stating that you will be charged for any damage they find after your stay. It's rather unsettling to see all these issues so I felt compelled to notify them of everything I saw like the bi-fold door off the track sitting in the hallway. They offered to come, but I had a slight cold and the last thing I want on vacation is someone disturbing us plus these issues were long in the making and really should have been attended to long ago. We paid a premium price, which for condition of things in not appropriate. The host Claire not once responded to any question through the Vrbo app either which is not how other apps have been for us. Also the dishes were not too clean and you will need to re-wash them.

We are sorry to hear about the jets not working and that we were unable to fix it but I am glad to hear it was still hot. Normally we do try to fix issues when guests are staying, especially when they have longer stays like yours. Despite these issues, we do hope that you had a wonderful stay. Good Retreat

The property was well laid out and very functional for our family. The location was excellent for us right near hiking paths and close to good mountain biking. While there is some wear and tear on parts of the home, the property management company was responsive.
