Great stay at Helen's place. Everything was neat, clean and exactly as advertised. Perfect holiday house for multiple families. Love the hot outdoor shower after getting home from the beach.

Great location

House is really nice, I have nothing to complain about except that the photos on the site are a bit out dated and should be updated. Helen is a great host and we will hopefully be coming back again next year.

Cosy and well situated

The venue has all you could need. Spacious but still cosy. We would happily go back there to stay again! Well located, close to the shops and the beach.

Everything you could hope for and more. Lovely and clean, well appointed and easy to contact the managers. Wonderful time and we will be back again.

A fully stocked house

Our overall impression of the property was a happy one,with just a few suggestions. You need to replace the poor quality beds and pillows with decent ones. Provide each bedroom with a tv. The plug in the hand basin of the main bathroom needs fixing. On the web site under items provided there is Towels/sheets (extra fee) then there is also towels and linen further down the list. I was put off a bit when informed the we had to pay extra for linen. Helen, you said it gives people options, well maybe you should make it more obvious or delete that all together. We really enjoyed our stay and hope my review is helpful to you. Graham

Respite stay

Our overall impression of the property is fantastic. Had everything we required as able bodied persons. My sister is in a wheelchair and found that a ramp to get onto the front veranda would have been very helpful. Apart from that we had a fabulous stay and as it is right in the centre of town we could walk to cafes etc

We were at this property 4 years ago.it was a well presented property.this is why we returned.the cleaning needs more attention.on arrival we put things in the fridge.went out and came back to find that the fridge was not on.it would be good if that was left on.for future people.there was an extra charge for linen that we didn't know about until the host emailed us .a great location

Short weekend break.

Excellent place to stay right in Port Elliott & close to beach. Great hosts and plenty of space for our two teenagers. Originally booked for last year but Covid caused delay until 2021 February. Will book again with this same great rental property. Thank you Helen & Jack.

Roomy, comfortable, modern home in great location

Title and star rating says it all. The only reason I took 1 star off for the listing was that it was not obvious that there was an additional charge for linen - if it was there, I didn't see it and only found out when the owner asked me - and she was very helpful about options.

Perfect spot for cycling holiday

Communication with the owners was very easy, as was check in. The house was clean and pleasant with a well stocked kitchen. Good location to walk to pubs and shops. More facilities to enjoy the outdoor space would be a nice addition. Single bed matresses weren't the comfiest but I guess they never are.

Fantastic getaway

Perfect location for our interstate in-laws whom could walk to everything whilst we ’glamped ‘at Pt Elliot Caravan Park. The home has everything to cater for a perfect beach seaside getaway.

All You Need

We found the property perfect for the needs of 4 senior male golfers. Four bedrooms with plenty of space to stretch out in the living areas. Kitchen had all that was required, apart from a dishwasher and that would have been icing on the cake rather than a necessity for 4 people for 5 nights. Easy walking to several good restaurants.

Great location for shops.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at port Elliot. The house was large, with 4 spacious bedrooms and large dining and lounge area. it was close to shops and about a 10 minute walk to the coast. The owners of the home were efficient in communication and organisation. We would recommend this home to others.

Great location

Good accommodation for large families or multiple couples. We had 6 adults staying and it handled us comfortably. Port Elliot is a lovely little seaside resort.
