The house was next to the bush, adjacent to the Grand CliffTop Walk and close to other walks. It was well appointed for bedrooms, lounge and kitchen and warm enough on cold nights. Plenty of space in a quiet area.

Comfortable and well-equipped

We loved staying at this property. It is in a beautiful and quiet location with lovely gardens through every window. The house was very comfortable and really well-equipped with all we needed. Will have to return for another family getaway.

Family getaway

Stayed 2 nights with my immediate family members, organised as a Christmas present for all family members. House was great with enough room for all of us, lots of cooking utensils etc in the kitchen to feed a big family. Bedrooms are a good size.

Happy family holiday

A fantastic location to stay at, to explore the Blue Mountains. Provided with great info before the stay, so it was easy to change over the gas bottle when it ran out. Check in was simple. House was clean. Top bedroom wasn't fully enclosed for sound but was still private. Had a few possums visit at night, which were quite noisy. Lovely sunroom to sit in and enjoy watching the weather.

Lovely house but hard to heat

Sublime cedar lodge is a lovely house. Very clean, good beds and linen, lovely location, very well equipped. BUT it is cold. Two of the upstairs bedrooms did not have electric blankets, very disappointing. Only one nights supply of wood was there meaning it cost quite a bit to buy wood for the week because the air conditioner was inadequate. The fire only heated the lounge area so the dining room was freezing. We like to play board games as a family around the table but we had to huddle around the fire. It is a pity that such a lovely house is spoilt by lack of heating. We have been holidaying in the blue mountains for over 50 years and have always had a cosy house.

Hi Janet, This comes as a total surprise. Normally everyone says they are so warm at Sublime. There are multiple large panel heaters throughout key parts of the house, plus the reverse cycle airconditing and the fireplace. In fact we’ve had some guests say they had to kick the quilts off from being too hot. The dining and lounge is open plan and is directly heated. We sent an email asking how you are settling in. If we had known you were cold we would’ve assisted in troubleshooting to ensure you were warm and toasty.

amazing location for some beautiful walks

Although a little smaller than expected and it would certainly be cosy for more than 10 people, we had a brilliant time and it suited our family of 6 with ample space for everyone. The bathrooms are newly renovated and the kitchen is well equipped for lots of people. The location is amazing for bushwalking to sublime point or golf lookout and beyond. Like all rentals at this time of year it was a little damp on arrival but the day was particularly humid and with some open doors and a nice breeze this was solved. The exterior is a bit shabby but that didn't bother us. Would book again, thank you for a lovely break.

Great family friendly stay in beautiful Leura

Sublime cedar lodge was a lovely stay for our group. The big bedroom at the back was great for the kids for sleeping, and playing when it was raining outside.

A wonderful family getaway

The property lived up to expectations. It was perfect for our family group. Spotlessly clean, kitchen well supplied with crockery, glassware and cutlery. It had everything we needed. Lovely bush garden which the grandkids loved. Located in a quiet street and near to bushwalks. We loved it.

Well located mountain retreat

A well equipped comfy house for 4 to 5 couples or family groups. Entry to a scenic bush walking trail is located just around the corner with spectacular lookouts a short drive away. Special thanks to Luke for being an attentive and helpful manager.

Great family holiday place with friends and kids.

Great house stay with 2 families with kids. Extra big room for the kids to sleep in and hang out. Comfortable beds, Enough heaters/ aircon and fireplace which went to good use. Kitchen was modern, clean with all that you could need including a Coffee machine! Very close to sublime point and bushwalk with a view. Would stay here again.

A lovely spot for a weekend getaway

Luke and Heidi’s property was ideal for our group. Despite some insanely gusty winds outside, the house was warm and cozy, with a lovely living space and excellent entertainment balcony. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for affordable accomodation, that isn’t too fancy, yet still allows you to live comfortably and enjoy the beauty of the Mountains.

A nice property

We enjoyed our stay at Sublime Cedar Lodge. The house is not as big as it appears in the pictures, however there were plenty of beds and there was space enough for the 10 of that were staying. The beds were clean and comfy and the lounges were comfortable too. The views from the windows are just lovely and it is located in a peaceful and quiet street. The owners were friendly and swift to respond to any questions we had.

a few niggles but overall a good time was had

8 adults and 8 kids stayed at this property for 4 nights in September 2016. The property was in a nice quiet area on the outskirts of Leura. There was a good sized yard for the kids and it was well located for a couple of local walks and views of the 3 sisters nearby. The house was quite small for 16 people and it was a bit squishy trying to fit us all in. The kids all slept in the downstairs bedroom but one of the beds was broken and we had to make do with a mattress on a floor which wasn't ideal as it was very cold. Also - one of the other camp beds was very saggy in the middle for one of our 8 year olds. Some of the beds had electric blankets. The adult beds were all fine and very comfortable. The kitchen was quite well equipped with the exception of not having enough knives for everyone in our party. All in all we had a good time in the house but it did seem to be a bit tired and lacking in love - missing light globes, BBQ not working properly, nothing major just a few niggles that are easily fixed up.

Hi Julie, Thank you for your feedback. We do value it and are attending to the points mentioned. We have a new cleaner who is keeping the property in tip top order to ensure excellent cleanliness and attend to these niggling issues. Only the 3 spare single rollaways/mattresses for the floor don't have electric blankets, all the other 8 main queen and single beds have electric blankets. The property is an older one, and that's why the property is priced more on the budget side. Your group was paying around $43 each per night during peak school holidays. This is very reasonable for the season and less than a share dorm at the local backpackers. This holiday house is designed to be a very affordable getaway for a large group of family and friends to all stay together. The house has 4 bedrooms plus a large double garage converted rumpus room/5th bedroom and comfortably sleeps the number of guests staying. We are glad you explored the area, as there are amazing walks and breathtaking views 1 minute walk away.

So disappointed. Not what the photos and description said. Carpet very stained. Second bathroom actually a laundry with a very small shower and even smaller area to dry yourself. TV did not work. Could not contact the 2 mobile nos. we were given to ask about this. Rang many times. Even sent texts. No reply .Paint flaking off cupboards in kitchen. Needs to have bathroom and kitchen updated. Will not be recommending. Have sent an email to the Team@accommodated but have had no response.

Hi Colette, I'm sorry to hear you weren't impressed with your stay. We have been on annual leave o/s and supplied our area managers' phone number to call in our absence. This was added above our phone numbers on your check-in details. We're told there was some wild and windy weather prior to your stay and we weren't aware that this had damaged the TV antenna so our apologies about this issue. It's a shame you didn't call the number we provided rather than leave a bad review as these issues would have been seen to by our manager immediately. We strive to provide the best possible guest experience at all our properties and man our phones virtually 24/7.

Cosy and great

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Grateful for some kitchen supplies and soaps etc already at the property. Cosy stay and had wonderful getaway with bunch of friends. Process of contacting owners wasn't easy as other stayz but property was great! Good for real cabinlike feel.
