The house speaks for itself - absolutely stunning. Was more than enough room for us and our two kids. Communication was excellent with the hosts , I did ask a few annoying questions days out from our arrival and Amanda replied quickly and professionally. Best was we arrived in Byron two hours earlier and Amanda and her team graciously allowed us to check in early. Stunning house , amazing location.

A beautiful house and location. The kitchen has everything you need to make gourmet meals and to hear the ocean as I fell asleep was bliss. Loved it so much I’m going back next year for my birthday. Lovely host and their attention to detail is five stars, thank you

Great Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at the Beach House. It was great that our dog could come and enjoy with us. There is so much space and the kitchen is very well equipped with all that you would need. The beds were very comfortable and it was great that I was contacted to see how I would like the rooms/beds configured. All in all it was a great little getaway.

Family reunion

Gorgeous home. Exquisite windows and lighting and gardens. Fab outdoor covered dining spot with grill. 2 min walk to unbelievable beach/surfing. Trip not complete without doing the short hike up and around the point with views of beaches on the other side.

Luxurious stay

The property is beautiful, comfortable inside and out. The pictures and information online reflected everything that is there. The kitchen was appointed beautifully and outdoor deck, peaceful, providing a lovely family table for meals. The lawns and gardens are a picture.

Amazing house, architecture, garden and location. The kitchen was so well stocked and a delight to cook in, the red stove is stunning! It is a delight to share such a beautiful property and location with a young pup, who is catered for at the property and who can delight in the large garden. Already trying to work out when we can return.

Perfection

We have just spent a week at this gorgeous beach house with our adult kids and their partners. I am not big on busy crowded places and the kids love cafes/restaurants so Broken Head Beach House was the perfect place.... busy/vibrant Byron just 10mins drive down the road ....and the most beautiful quiet beach 2mins walk away. We enjoyed so many things.... but an absolute highlight was watching the dolphins and whales from the lookout off broken head ....a gorgeous walk!!

Perfect for our family reunion

This house was the perfect addition for our family reunion. We booked it together with the bungalow and another large house next door. It had dreamy bathrooms and plenty of private spaces as well as a fantastic fully enclosed yard for our fur baby. Lovely outdoor spaces (with a heater for the chilly nights) and great kitchen. Lovely place to escape the family function next door and provided quality accommodation of everyone. Very tranquil and roomy. I particularly loved the outdoor areas and the master bathroom. We had four of us (don't worry most were children) in it at one stage and they loved the water coming out of the roof.

Great location

Very cold as air con not working. We were supplied 2 heaters. Checked in on Monday out on Friday. By Wednesday morning the property was comfortable and not cold. Did have a smell, (moisture) we purchased a few masking aromas eventually all was ok. Definitely overpriced for the quality of the property, as one larger available as we left for 1/4 less than we paid and more bedrooms and living space. Must say great location. Would I stay again, yes if the property was maintained.

Nice but overpriced

we stayed at Pavilion 7 for 4 nights. property layout and design is beautiful with lush green tropical backyard with beach beds outdoor dining table perfect for outdoor breakfast. Beds and linens were all great. Property had few maintenance issues that we would not expect from a costly property. Tap/faucet on washbasin in family bathroom has a loose lever and tends to fall by itself. Shape of washbasin is very odd/shallow and impractical. Spout of the faucet is not long enough and you can’t wash your hands without continually hitting the back wall of the washbasin. All bottle/dispensers of bodywash etc had a very cheap dispenser/plunger on them and once pumped down, it does not retrieve back and you have to manually pull it out to pump again - very annoying and super cheap. Some of the windows had broken levers and missing slats. We came across a cockroach running inside the house and a lizard on wall.

Family retreat

Very comfortable and well-equipped property with a large tropical garden. Well located out of the noise but close to the beach. Perfect for a relaxing week with family of all ages.

Stunning property

Our family had an amazing week at the Beach house, beautiful home fitted out with lovely furniture and a great kitchen. Our kids and dogs loved the yard and only a short stroll to the beach. Have already booked our next stay! Amanda was an amazing host also, highly recommended.

Amazing property on beach in the Rain Forrest. Only downside is the distance to a decent Cafe, other then that it's amazing.

Paradise in Broken Head

We were so lucky to have a beautiful few days at this exceptional property. The house is an oasis of calm with a huge garden and everything you need in the house. And just a short wander to a stunning beach and local walks. We didn’t want to leave. We had a car so it was an easy drive into Byron Bay and the hinterland for meals and shopping. The kitchen is fantastic. We cooked a couple of meals at the house given the kitchen was so well appointed. The bedrooms are spacious and beds comfortable and all decorated tastefully. Great outdoor area if you want a BBQ or outside meals. I sat out there reading a book for many hours. The booking and check in process was seamless and communications clear and timely. Thanks to the Home Away team for such a friendly service.

Property with wow factor

The house and grounds are stunning and perfect for e joying tropical weather. Pity the heavy rain caused a few leaks and made old leaks reappear. This didn’t prevent us enjoying a milestone birthday,,,,all went without a hitch.
