The host was very accommodating and had great communication skills. We needed to check on a lost item after our stay and he went out of his way to do this for us. The cottage was exactly as we had hoped. Comfy beds and great showers.

Really nice place for exploring Dunkeld and Mt sturgeon! We walked to Mt Sturgeon and did the loop from here. Comfortable accomodation, has a split system and all the things you need to be happy and comfortable.

My friend and I enjoyed the simplicity of the cottage and the beauty of the surrounds. As described in the profile it is an older cottage and there were a couple of small maintenance issues that need a little attention. The washing machine could also do with some 'driving instructions.' Dunkeld is a lovely location and being so close to Mt Sturgeon and Mt Abrupt is fantastic.

The view of Mt Sturgeon from the cottage is superb. However it was difficult to get warm in the cottage as it is was a very draughty building. The TV Ariel was broken thus there was no reception. Check-in was delayed almost an hour and unfortunately we weren’t notified until we were close to Dunkeld. The bed side lights were too dim to read by. Not a great place to stay in winter, in better weather it could be more enjoyable.

A cosy property on a large block that was perfect for the four of us. Had everything we needed plus a view of the nearby mountains.

Cozy Cottage in the Grampians

We (family of four - 2 kids under 12) enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage. One of our main concerns before arriving at the property was if it was going to be warm in the coldest winter in years and the anwer, for those who are also curious, is YES! There is one heater, but it does a great job warming up the entire house and we were able to enjoy a cozy stay over a cold weekend. The kitchen is well equiped with plenty of tools for cooking (both on the stove top and in the oven) and even had plastic plates and cups for the kids. There is a large washer and dryer if needed. The shower is small, but the hot water flows quickly and when needed. There is a great view of Mt Sturgeon from the living room windows and you should be treated to waking up to roos snacking around the yard when you wake up (and in the evening as the sun is setting). The cottage is also close to town and you can easily walk to the cafes in the morning or home from dinner in the evening.

Beautiful and private spot with a nice view of the mountain from the front door, nice and tidy with all the amenities needed for a short or long stay!

Perfect location, near national park walks

Lovely stay

Had a great stay in Dunkeld visiting family. House is close to town and nice and quiet. Had wallabies bouncing past in the evening. Lots of birds. Air conditioner was a blessing as it was very hot over the weekend. Beds comfy and WiFi worked a treat. All in all a very comfy and affordable property. Great shower too !!!
