Hi Laurie, Thank you so much for your review. I think reviews are really important to other renters so I think it would be important to respond back here. 1) When you rent, I send over house rules and ask that you read them because 99% of the questions any guest would have is in there. You confirmed that not only you read the entire rules but also stated everyone in your party read through them. 2) you actually asked me two questions via text…that was it. First question was about the WiFi password. I manage several properties and the password is in the house rules. You received not only an electronic copy but a hard copy is left on premises. I would think if your entire party read them they would have seen it there - so I responded back the password was in the house rules. 2) second text asked me if you could use the outdoor fireplace to which I responded of course. At no point did you mention there was any issue with it not working. In fact, I turned it on the following weekend to use, so unsure what the problem was since this is actually the first time I’m hearing this. The only other text I got from you was one to scold me on not having a Keurig machine, which I responded that there is in fact a Keurig in addition to the Nespresso on premises. As a host, I take great pride in assuring that my guests have exactly what was represented to them, and in turn, I expect to have guests that are true to what they represent. Unfortunately, for any other hosts reading this, I’d have to say that you were not as you represented yourself. You were not very friendly yourself and you don’t seem to accept when you are in the wrong. For future reference, if you feel there is any issue at all, you should be more direct and open with the owner in order to allow them to rectify the situation - not wait to air your grievances after the fact.
