Great place!

The cabin was exactly as described. Close to fishing and roomy enough for the whole crew. Great communication also! Will definitely keep this as a favorite for next time!!

Great Birthday fishing trip !

The property was very clean,neat and a wonderful place to stay ! The owners were pleasant to work with, and very helpful. I would recommend anyone to stay here and enjoy this beautiful property.

Clean and Spacious!

Great stay. We went on a fishing trip with friends and family and it was perfect for us! Onsite person very responsive when asked questions. All amenities that we needed! We would definitely go back!

Wonderful Family Vacation

Family Vacation with the grandkids. The house was beautiful. Loved the rooms and large kitchen. We loved the large front porch and spent many hours relaxing on it. The grandkids loved running around the yard and playing with their new RC trucks. There was a nice BBQ grill/smoker that we used. The host was so kind and made sure the property was mowed and even left fresh firewood for the fire pit. The area now has rural broadband fiber Internet so the Wi-Fi worked great!! If you want a nice relaxing vacation, this is the house for you.

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin was exactly the way it was listed. Very clean and comfortable. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star was the driveway very bumpy. Room for two boats comfortably for electric hookups. Very safe area no issues. The front door was a little tricky to open but our contact was quick in responding. Would stay here again.

Our thoughts

The cabin was beautiful inside and out. There were only 2 negitives that I recall. 1. no cell phone service. (significant issue) 2. significant mold on the shower curtain in the master suite.

Secluded cabin great for getting away from it all.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful. New top of the line appliances. Very spacious. Large outdoor deck. My family loved the jetted tub in the the hall bath. Beds were very comfortable. Owner was very accommodating and easily accessible. My only negative is the TV reception. I thought the listing said it had Dish TV, but it was internet TV and was difficult to get all the shows we wanted. I spoke to the owner about this and he is going to address the issue. Overall a wonderful, quiet place to get away and enjoy some family time!

Beautiful Cabin

Beautiful place. Enjoyed our stay. Would definitely rent again! Only “good to know” things I’d like to share…from the listing I thought the community lake was just a little walk across the yard. Not the case. We drove to it. Neighbors tell us certain parts of lake was private property. Also, 7 miles from Grenada Lake does NOT mean 7 miles to Grenada or spillway. It is 30 minutes solid to Grenada’s main fishing spots. The bathroom in the master has no door or curtain to provide privacy. Fine for a couple but we had family, teens with us and everyone using that shower. The good and positives far outweigh any of those “good to know” things though. The place was spacious, beautiful, clean, great WiFi, great A/C, cozy deck and outside space. Would DEFINITELY stay here again!!!

Super Quiet—Near the Lake

Stayed here with family/kids for daughter’s graduation from Ole Miss because we wanted to be away from all the traffic and congestion. House is great with ample room and lots of space to park. Everything worked in the house and it’s clean and modernly updated. Check-in was super easy as all relative info was provided well in advance, like door code and contact info. The only issue we encountered had nothing to do with the property—the bridge that facilitates your leaving the area to go north is out for service, so we were forced to take backroads to get to a throughway, which added 30-40 minutes to our ride to Ole Miss. And when I say backroads, I mean it (lol). Google Maps and Waze will still direct you to this bridge, as well, so don’t rely on them to inform you about the bridge. Going to the lake or out towards Grenada will be no problem for you. This place is really quiet and pretty secluded. I would 100% stay here again—we enjoyed our stay.

Very pleased

This is one of the nicest cabins in the area. Pro's are lots of interior space and very comfortable. Beautiful kitchen and mud room. The wrap around deck was great for grilling. Very comfortable beds too. The master bedroom has new carpet and a private deck. The living room is open and has a comfortable wrap around sofa. The cabin is back off the road and close to the Ms Foxhound kennels and great fishing. Con's are the website originally stated it sleeps 8. There is 1 queen bed, 1 twin bed, 1 heavy duty bunk bed and 1 single bed. There is no way 8 could sleep there. But later I noticed it corrected itself to sleep 6. That is closer but 2 grown men cannot sleep in the twin bed. There is plenty room for a cot or air mattress though. On our stay, one of the men slept on the sofa. There is a jacuzzi tub in one bathroom and a shower stall in the other bathroom, which is off the master bedroom and has no privacy. That is the biggest con by far. Another shower would be ideal. I recommend this to 4 grown men or 2 husband and wives and 2-3 children. All in all, a little expensive but it was a great stay.

Perfect quiet retreat

This place is great if you just want to get away from it all. Could have used a little more items in the kitchen for cooking. There is a fire pit and it would be nice to have that mentioned in the description as we had to go find wood after arriving.

Trip to UK/Ole Miss Game

Spacious and clean. Huge kitchen for cooking and great wrap-around deck. Location is only negative. Way out in the middle of nowhere and roads to get there need some work! Wifi not great and hard to communicate with host due to Wifi issues. Definitely stop at a grocery store in Starkville or other larger town because only place nearby is a Dollar General.

Nice camp atmosphere. Very clean

We stayed to fish Grenada lake. House was nice and very clean. Very comfortable beds. Even had some commodities such as coffee on hand in case you forgot to pack. House is at the dead end of road so it was quiet. Drive is steep if you’re pulling a boat but definitely do able ( we had two). Would definitely stay again.
