1エーカーの土地に広がる、ゆったりとした快適な3ベッドルームの家、静かで静かな野鳥の生息地、畑、丘と森の景色。

リビングルーム、ダイニング/キッチン、そして野原と沿岸保護区の景色を望むデッキに面した小さなシッティングエリア。
居間の磨かれた床板。
3つの広々としたベッドルーム、2つはクイーンサイズのベッド、2つはシングルベッド2つが付いていて、すべて庭に絵窓が付いています。
建築家のオーナーによるシンプルだが思いやりのあるケアが施されています。
日の出、デッキの夕日、そして一日中太陽を見るのが見事。

遅い燃焼ストーブで涼しい夕方の火災。
 
車線を歩いて8分、ウィルソンズ・プロムへの唯一の歩行者専用入り口、そして国立公園の森を通って無限の手付かずの自然のままの浅瀬入り江へ。

ウォンバット、エミュー、ワラビーそしてめったに見られない沼の鹿を見なさい。
 
ウィルソン岬の門まで車で5-6分。

Amenities were good. Tank water use was a minor shock and should have been stated in the booking page. We had to scrample back to Foster to buy drinking water.

We had an excellent stay at John & Jennifer's property. It is the perfect place for relaxing in between visits to the nearby national park. We loved having the Shallow Inlet trail around the corner - it was actually one of our favourite walks! The local supermarket is well stocked, and the kitchen is equipped with everything needed to self cater. We had a couple of small issues pop up but John was readily available and it didn't impact on the overall enjoyment of our stay. Plenty of space for the kids to roam around, and sunny spots to read a book. We hope to come back some day.

Really enjoyed the homey feeling of staying in John and Jennifer's holiday home. The rooms were warm and comfy and the kitchen well stocked. The location for going in and out of the park was excellent, and the small walk through to the inlet was beautiful. Any questions were quickly answered.

De locatie is geweldig, de hosts zijn erg vriendelijk in het contact. De huur van het huis zelf is wel duur voor de staat waarin verkeert. Dit was ons duurste huis van onze reis, maar de faciliteiten zijn gedateerd. Geen wifi, geen goede verwarming. Je moet ervan houden afgelegen te wonen. Dan kan ik me goed voorstellen dat je er heerlijk tot rust kunt komen.

Be prepared

Our stay in Yanakie was lovely but difficult in that we were not travelling with extras such as international phone plans, ability to hot spot, extra towels, face cloths, hair dryer, shampoo, etc. Small pleasures that most VRBOs provide. Communication with the owner was difficult and after arrival at the house we had to drive many kilometres to get reception to call the owners who were busy and could not respond with the code. This could be easily solved by giving the code earlier than check in time. The house itself is an older farm house and we blew a fuse right away charging phones. We didn't figure out the fuse box for a day so had to use outlets in the laundry room until we figured it out. The fuse box being out side and around the corner. The bedrooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. The day beds in the main area need replacing.Despite the difficulties for the tired and unprepared, it was a lovely stay in the country. The owner graciously left us a bottle of wine which made the difficult parts better.

Peaceful stay near the Prom.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Homely feel with nice personal touches. We enjoyed some gorgeous sunsets on the veranda and walks to the inlet. We had four people stay so it was also good value.

Nice but expensive stay

We had mixed reviews on this place. It is a cottage, so don’t expect more. Although the host were very communicative. Left us a nice bottle of wine on the table. The fridge really needs to be replaced. After booking, we were told that we had to pay an extra 5 p/p for body towels. A great positive is that the beds were very comfy. The sink in the bathroom was not clean at all. Like I wrote before, mixed reviews. Way too pricy for one night.

Good rural location

This cottage is well equipped, unpretentious and perfect for a family vacation. So much space for kids to run around and make noise without fear of disrupting neighbours. The natural beauty of the location with just a short walk to Shallow Inlet is outstanding. There was an ongoing issue with the tank water which the landlord went to pains to remedy and kept us informed of what was happening. We also had an issue with the washing machine, but none of these things detracted from our enjoyment of the property or the beautiful area. Thanks John!

Lovely house

We really enjoyed the quiet rural location close to the Prom. The house was lovely and spacious. John was very thoughtful in letting us know about a water issue which might have affected our stay but was fixed by the time we checked in.

Family summer holiday

The property was large and peaceful, ideal for a relaxing family stay and close enough to Wilson Prom action for day trips. However, amenities were lacking—no washing powder, only one dishwasher tablet for four nights, limited hand soap, and no bath towels provided. As a city person, I wasn’t used to the smell of the tank water and had to buy extra drinking water. A few extra touches would enhance the experience.

Hiding from the Hectic

Wonderful place/space to spend time; particularly when the weather closed in. Family of four - lots of incidental spaces to read / do puzzles / ponder / not annoy your sister. Full size amenities - so easy to prepare meals / store food. Very easy access to Prom walks and Tidal River as well as the communities/townships around.

Gateway to the Prom

Homely property with interesting touches and lovely light spaces. My friend and I enjoyed coming back after a day walking to the many different places at the Prom as well as the nearby Shallow Inlet. Great location, comfy beds and all the amenities you need.

Great stay

Very accommodating hosts, were flexible with check-in times. A short distance to the entrance of the Prom. Driving takes about 10 min to the big drift, 40 min to tidal river.

Middle of nowhere

The property did not meet the expectations set by the images provided. It was specifically noted in the amenities that Wi-Fi would be available, which was a key reason for our booking. Unfortunately, due to the lack of connectivity, we had to take leave from work, which incurred additional costs for us. We kindly request a prompt resolution and an accurate description of the property’s amenities in the future. Additionally, we observed that the property is quite old, which was not evident from the listing. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
