A light-filled, spacious Craftsman home in the desirable Green Lake / Tangletown neighborhood offering modern comforts and contemporary appeal. This three bedroom, 2.5 bath home is just one block off the lake, with lake views from the master bedroom and adjoining master office.
Beautiful grass yard and wood deck in the back, covered front porch and parking in front. With great neighbors and walking distance to Tangletown restaurants and close to major highways the location can't be beat!The house is just steps away from beautiful Green Lake and offers very convenient access to both Interstate 90 and Highway 99 as well as a bus stop a half block away that runs directly to downtown Seattle.

Great Stay

Great Location + Beautiful Home
I came with my wife and two daughters. The house is beautiful and we enjoyed ourselves.
Easy to catch a bus that runs frequently just a block away.

Great house near Green Lake
Our family of 4 had an awesome stay. We walked/jogged or biked Green Lake most evenings and watched the sun set. After a long day of activity, we had relaxing dinners in the very well-equipped kitchen. We had a very minor problem with the washing machine and Mark was over in a few minutes to fix the problem. Communication with Julie was easy. Would definitely stay again.

Great house, great location
Our family of 4 plus 2 grandparents thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house is lovely, comfortable, spacious, and very well equipped. It felt like a home away from home. Located just two blocks from Green Lake, it’s easy to get out to enjoy the fresh air - and you can enjoy a view of the lake from the upstairs master bedroom. We’re Seattlites living elsewhere currently and returned for a graduation so we have an insiders perspective of how great this house and location are. It’s far enough away from the bustle to enjoy the quiet and close enough to get to the zoo, Whole Foods, great local restaurants, and easy to get around to quintessential Seattle sites downtown and elsewhere. Highly recommend this house.

Everything We Wanted
We gathered as a family of 4 to celebrate Thanksgiving in Seattle. This home is in a great location being a short walk to Green Lake, as well as being close to fun neighborhood dining, coffee and pubs. Getting downtown or to other parts of town was easy from this location. The home was beautifully decorated, very clean and the view of Green Lake from the master bedroom an added bonus. It was a nice set-up for spending time together when we chose to stay at home. We loved the fireplace. Julie was easy to communicate with and made us feel very welcome. We hope to return soon.

Great home in a great neighborhood!!
We enjoyed our stay at the Greenlake home. The neighborhood was nice, walkable and close to Green Lake. There is one bedroom downstairs with a half bath and two bedrooms and two full baths upstairs. The layout worked well for our family of four. The kitchen is open to the living area making it more enjoyable to spend time with one another while making meals.
We have two young children - age 4 and 1, so this layout was great once they were in bed, we could come down to hang out.
Julie and Mark, the owners were very accommodating and gracious! They went out of their way to make our stay in Seattle extra special!
We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves visiting Seattle in the near future. They provided a well- stocked kitchen with all the necessary cooking supplies and even basics like salt/pepper, cooking oil. Coffee and coffee filters were also so kindly appreciated! And also supplied a baby gate for the stairs, shampoo/ conditioner and hand soap - thoughtful extras!
Pros: nice, updated amenities, great neighborhood, helpful and accommodating hosts, great layout, clean, well-stocked kitchen, w/d
Cons: the deck isn't kid-friendly for crawling kids, steep main stairwell and there was not a hairdryer (easy fix).

Lovely open home near the lake
The owners were wonderful, kind, quick to respond, and went out of their way to help us. The home was beautiful and airy, but it did have some issues. Most of the house was clean, but we did find some things that were unpleasant. Also, the windows had no screens which posed a problem at night with the bugs (yes we did get some mosquitos). Fans were readily available, but it was still stuffy. In addition, there was an issue with the internet, but that was resolved after a day. Of importance, if you have any issues with your occupants not being able to climb a lot of stairs, you may want to reconsider this home. I did not fully view the home and my elderly occupants struggled to get up and down the stairs which were a bit steep, and stairs without a railing made getting down to the sidewalk especially difficult. There is no hot tub (as seen in one of the pictures I viewed). Also, the lower half of the home (basement apt) is rented out at the same time (we did not know this). A listing of supplies provided or not provided would be helpful (laundry soap, dish soap, etc.) so one does not need to do unplanned shopping. A blender and mixer would be nice.
Overall though, we did enjoy our stay. The location was great which provided for easy walking to local eateries and the lake. Again, I can't stress how nice the owners were and how much they did help us.

Thanks for the review. The house does have stairs and there is a blender, cuisinart and mixer located in the cabinets. There is no mention of a hot tub as we do not own one and there is an unfinished basement that is not part of the rental. I like the idea of providing a staple list of and will work on that. Great Rental, Great Location and Great Owners
Five adults stayed at Julie and Mark’s rental home. The house was clean and good size! Kitchen appliances were high end. Deck was big! Used the nice grill one time as we were too busy eating out! In addition to a parking space at the rental, parking was easy for extra car. Owners Julie and Mark were so nice and very accommodating to our needs and our questions. The house was about two blocks from Green Lake. We took advantage by walking several times! Hope the rental home will be available on our next trip!

The perfect location house!
We stayed at this VRBO for a girls trip that included myself, my mom, my sister and my 2 year old daughter. The house is in the perfect location! It’s in walking distance of Greenlake as well as a coffee and donut shop. The Green lake area has many places to eat, and a Safeway grocery store close by.
The house is very clean and well put together. There are 3 bedrooms - 2 up and 1 downstairs that supplied plenty of space for us. The kitchen has beautiful updated appliances! The owner also provided us with some wine and desserts - much appreciated!
The back deck is beautiful and has a great view of the lake. The backyard was also perfect for my little one to run around in. The owner was so helpful with giving us information about the area and the home as well. The neighborhood is quiet and felt very safe. We would absolutely stay here again!!

Perfect Location
Worked out very well location wise and comfort wise. Plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 young children (they especially liked the lego room).
Lovely walks around Green Lake and were able to get to downtown Seattle a few times for errands very easily. Had a great Christmas.

Green Lake Getaway Great!
Property was accurate in location, layout and amenities. The ownership even brought over a grill, as weather was still good outside. The property was clean and well maintained. The ownership provided super customer service during the entire stay process.
The area is very walkable and safe. Great place to stay with family.

We settled in the Green Lake, Seattle neighborhood shortly after getting married in 1994 and have been here ever since! It is such a great area and we have made many close friends here. Mark has worked hard remodeling this home and it is very comfortable, relaxing, inviting and clean. We are sure you will it enjoy it as much as we have!
