Great weekend getaway!

This was a great hub for our family on our Sioux Falls stay! We really enjoyed the home. It was very spacious, in a great neighborhood, and exactly what we needed. Thank you for a great stay! If we're ever up in the area, we will definitely look to stay here again

We met our family from SD here. All was very nice and as described. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the beds. They seemed a little soft and sank towards middle. Otherwise, everything was very nice.

Clean and great location

Everything was great. Would be careful of outside chairs however as they were sunrotted pretty bad. Will definitely keep on our list if in that area again💜

Great stay

House was just as advertised. Several bedrooms, nice kitchen, plenty of tv’s, great patio area with hot tub, nice area with good access to many restaurants. Every question I had was answered by Mike in a couple of minutes. Great host!

Family trip for a wedding

We stayed at this property while in Sioux Falls for a wedding. We had a range of 88 year old to a 9 month old. The house was roomy. The yard was great for our two littles. I had plenty of spay to have my cousins over for breakfast on Saturday morning before we had the wedding to go to. The hot tub was enjoyed too.

Spacious

Very nice clean and spacious. Nice having five bedrooms and five, actually tvs. We were a group of 5 adult family members, no couples it worked great. Two living areas worked well.

House in Sioux Falls

The host was wonderful. He even put a recliner in for my senior age father. It was very much appreciated. With 3 bdrms on the main floor and 2 downstairs this house can accommodate a big group. Nice location... close to shopping mall.

Easy acces/Great yard

We stayed here for my FIL funeral in Luverne, MN. House is kept up but could use a little TLC around doors and windows. Backyard is huge so don’t forget to pack your yard games. Air conditioner is phenomenal! I’d rent it again.

The photos give a much nicer impression than the home actually is. While the bathrooms, linens, and floors appeared clean, things were not as clean or nice behind the scenes. The window screens were torn and filthy and the window sills were covered in dirt. The coffee pot had something growing or stuck in the bottom of it.The smoke alarms did not seem to work and one of the listed bedrooms does not have an egress window that meets code. Further, the egress window in the main room of the basement was not capable of being opened because the handles and levers were removed. I do not believe this meets code for an egress.The home is very near the interstate and a major city street. It is on the edge of a nice residential neighborhood, which places it near very transient hotels and 24 hour restaurants. As a result, there is regular traffic and loud traffic noises.It was at the bottom end of my comfort level of a home I would stay in. If you don't care about the lack of cleanliness, the location, and safety concerns, it might be fine for you.

Adequate

Property was adequate. Could probably use a thorough cleaning of food crumbs in kitchen drawers, and garbage from previous renters which was thrown under the bed. I don't blame Mike...what kind of people throw garbage under beds? Some family members complained of uncomfortable beds, but I slept very well. My son made some awesome steaks on the grill provided and NOBODY complained about the hot tub! All in all it served our needs for a nice weekend.

Thanksgiving 2024

It was great to have 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The downstairs bedrooms are very cold. We didn’t see any vents for heat. There was a sandwich left in the downstairs fridge, dishes in the dishwasher and some areas really need a deep clean. There are minimal pots, pans, crockpot, general cooking items. All in all it was great. Just some attention to details would knock this out of the park!

Convenient & worked well for our family group

The house worked well for our group of 9 adults (who were meeting from different areas of US). The bedrooms and bathrooms and 2 large areas for watching tv or visiting were great for our family. Each couple and one single had the privacy of a bedroom and we all shared 2 bathrooms. We cooked and ate several meals but, for a house that can sleep 10, there were only 4 dining chairs. We were advised to use patio chairs which were not very comfortable and sat too low at the table. The kitchen didn't have enough of some dishes for our group so we used disposable. The kitchen also lacked a pitcher, microwavable dishes and larger bowls for sides. The lower level of house was fully functional with many new features but also lacked some finishing touches (no baseboards, no toilet paper holder, no curtain on tv room window, window missing handles). A very nice feature of the basement is that it also had an extra fridge, stovetop and washer and dryer but we only used the extra fridge for our stay. 2 women in our party walked in neighborhood in evenings and felt perfectly safe. House was convenient to everything we needed and was quiet and peaceful. OVERALL ASSESSMENT was it worked well for us and we would happily stay there again. Mike responded to my questions promptly.

Fabulous Weekend Getaway

My girlfriends and I were in Sioux Falls for a wedding. We just needed a place to stay between wedding events. I wish we’d had more time to spend at Inspiration Ranch because it’s just lovely. We will definitely come back for a Girl’s Weekend and take advantage of all it has to offer.

Good location

Construction on main road was annoying in getting in and out of neighborhood, but that is short term problem. Nice location for getting around. It is only a block from I-29, so road noise when in back yard, but it was OK, and you didn’t hear it inside. Nice layout of rooms. Internet connection was great, and nice to have TV’s in every room, though our group didn’t use them much. We loved sitting on back patio in the morning.
