Beautiful accomodation

Loved the accom however the was an unpleasant smell possible a full septic tank that was a put off.

Lovely and quiet although slightly off the beaten track. We had difficulty getting check-in instructions and no wifi was a bit of a downer. In saying that, the cottage itself was gorgeous and perfect for two couples travelling together.

Fantastic property and great hosts.

One of 3 lovely cottages on the property. Very clean, well presented and everything we needed for our stay. Hosts John and Renata are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended as a holiday stay. Lovely Kangaroos in the rear field most of the time.

Wonderful

We had a lovely stay at the property, the host were friendly and welcoming. The sunset cottage was beautiful and better then the pictures show. We will definitely be coming back again, thanks for your hospitality.

Beautiful little cottage

This little cottage is so beautiful in a picturesque location and very calming environment. My girlfriends and I had a delightful stay and would recommend 1860 cottages to others! It was beautifully kept and we were welcomed by the owners on arrival.

Perfect location for a quiet getaway

We recently spent two days visiting the Barossa and stayed at Renata's beautiful stone cottage. The homely touches were much appreciated - tea, coffee, port, fresh bread, etc, not to mention the best free range eggs ever! Well worth a visit.

1860 Wine Country Cottage, Springton

We had a wonderful stay in this lovingly restored 2 bedroom 2 bathroom cottage. Spacious, clean, quite, some breakfast provisions (including eggs from their chickens and a loaf of home made bread). The coffee machine was a bonus. Our hosts were wonderful, providing us with information of the local wineries, places to eat & the Eden Valley attractions and beyond. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay: highlights were the wines at Gibson's & Flaxman's wineries, a great afternoon sampling at Taste of Eden and discovering the many small historic towns of the Adelaide Hills. Highly recommend!
