Hi Drexwell, thank you for your kind words, we were delighted to host you again and are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay at our property.

Thank you so much for your detailed and thoughtful review. We are happy you enjoyed your stay and liked the space. We have listened to your recommendations and have rectified where we could. A couple points to clarify: 1) The beach is 5 minutes away at normal walking pace (I have timed it). Leisurely pace and/or with kids, and lugging beach equipment, perhaps 10 mins tops. Perhaps you, as have other guests, accidentally went to one of the next beach accesses along. In which case you would definitely need to drive before walking. 2) Roads, yes they are poor, slowly being upgraded but out of our control. There is no real need for a 4 x 4 vehicle. You won't get stuck anywhere. You just take it slow across the bumps (island time!) or access from the other side where there is now new asphalt to within 1/4 mile of our property. 4) Our sincere apologies if you found the pool could have been cleaner. We have a weekly professional mainenance. Your stay was shortly after heavy rains and wind which can dilute the salt level causing low chlorine which can encourage algae to begin growing. Sometimes if nearby trees are shedding it is difficult to keep on top of the leaves. We will do our best continuously improve in all areas and are grateful for the feedback.

We're so pleased to hear that you had a great stay despite the effects of the unprecedented rainfall that the island received just before your arrival. It's the first time in 9 years of living there that the path has flooded. The standing water is unfortunately the perfect environment for mosquito breeding island wide. I'm so sorry that this disrupted your stay.
