Just right for quiet overnight stay.

Spotless, comfy farm unit with great views across bush and farmland. Lovely breakfast goodies provided and close proximity to pub for dinner. Our second stay.

Clean, comfortable and homely cottage

We had a nice 5 night stay. The cottage was clean, comfortable and has homely touched. Bacon and fresh eggs in the fridge ready to cook to our liking. There was also milk, tea, juice, coffee, bread and spreads for us to consume. Short drive to beaches and other fun sightings. Lots to do with the family. The local pub in Woolsthorpe is a must stop.

Memory of 'Yawnoc'

'Yawnoc' is a beautifully maintained cottage. We soaked up in the beautiful view from living room. The host was very generous with breakfast supplies. Nice and quiet location. Highly recommend this place.

Best Holiday Place

Fantastic hosts, very friendly and so helpful in letting us know of places to visit. Very quiet and very comfortable place. Loved the wrens and the dogs who came to visit. Will come back again. ❤

Lovely Place for Couples

Extremely generous hosts. Complimentary eggs, milk, bread, etc were provided. The place was super super clean. Great place for couples.

Quiet and peaceful

A lovely cottage to stay in; very comfortable with everything needed for a pleasant stay. Thank you for the breakfast supplies, too. We enjoyed our two nights there, with a comfy bed, lounge room area, well set-out kitchen and large bathroom. Great views across the paddocks; a very quiet place to stay. Thank you .

Lovely little cottage.

We had a great stay in this cute little cottage. Bed was really comfortable, everything was nice and clean. The lovely hosts left some bacon, eggs and other breakfast goodies for us. Thanks for a great little holiday.

Peaceful country getaway

Comfortable, clean, spacious cottage with full kitchen & laundry facilities. Quiet and peaceful. We especially enjoyed sitting on both front and back verandahs watching the blue wrens dart about and just enjoying the country views and tranquility. Seona and Simon were very welcoming.

Perfect place to unwind

I stayed at this lovely cottage for 2 nights shortly after Covid lockdown restrictions were lifted in Melbourne. It was good to get away from the confines of my suburb to this piece of paradise. The cottage is surprisingly spacious, and is surrounded by a pretty garden. The bed and lounge are comfortable and the kitchen stocked with everything you need. The breakfast provisions provided were particularly enjoyed. Evenings were spent on the back verandah listening to the warbling magpies and watching blue wrens dart about. A very peaceful, comfortable place to stay that is a good base for exploring Western Victoria. Hope to return soon.

Lovely quiet farm stay

Lovely 3 night stay- travelled with a young baby and cot was ready on arrival. Amazing setting on a farm and 20 mins drive to Port Fairy.

Yawnoc retreat

Yawnoc Cottage was an excellent place to stay, a retreat in the country on a farm and our host family were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Even the family dog was extremely hospitable, lots of licks and visits from him. For either a long or short stay highly recommend this property as it fully self contained with full kitchen and laundry facilities. Enjoy your stay there. Wonderful

What a great place well worth going inland a bit and experience the country. Fully contained with all amenities you need. Peaceful and quiet. Kids loved the location. Woolsthorpe hotel is a must visit for dinner with great food and a huge outdoor playground for the kids. Thanks to our hosts who were great.

Aah the Serenity!

Yawnoc Cottage had everything we needed. Enjoyed the rural outlook and only sounds were mooing of cows and birds tweeting. Seona was easy to communicate with. Wish we had more than 1 night.

Fantastic holiday!

We had a lovely family holiday in this peacefully setting. The cottage was immaculate and my children loved the cows and sheep in the adjoining fields. Very recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay at Yawnoc Cottage! The cottage was super clean and spacious for 2 people. The setting is really nice, looking out onto paddocks of sheep. The weather was cool during our stay, so we appreciated the heating and the warm, comfy bed. The location was great for visiting the Southern Grampians, Koroit, Port Fairy and Warrnambool.

Spacious, tastefully decorated, lovely setting.

Ideal accommodation for two people. Has all you need for bed and breakfast. Enjoyed the supplied eggs, bacon, tomatoes and toast and satchet coffee. Very reasonably priced. We'd stay again in this lovely location and in the morning sit on the porch with a cuppa and listen to the magpies warbling and watch the sheep grazing.

Really enjoyed our stay beautiful little part of the world would definitely go back again

Tanya and I stayed a night at the cottage it was spotlessly clean and the attention to every little detail was sensational, we would recommend the cottage to anybody visiting Warrnambool or Port fairy, this is a great place to stay well worth the 20 minute drive out of town, would definitely stay again when we get a chance and stay a few more days because there is lots to see. Can’t recommend it highly enough
