The house was in a great location, well setup with everything needed and a lot of nice to haves as well. Air conditioning and fan were needed and worked great. The hosts were very responsive.

Very relaxing and comfortable place to stay, host was very kind and communicative, kitchen was packed with everything you'd need to cook up a storm, the lights in the pool area made for a very relaxing night time dip. Will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Very clean property, kids absolutely loved the pool, everything we could need and more was there and supplied by the owners. Overall great experience, close to shops and other activity. Easy to deal with and were prompt to answer any messages i sent them.

A relaxed atmosphere with plenty to do. Games, pool and toys for the kids! Very welcoming place with extra food provisions provided by the generous owners. A great casual place for a holiday!

Beautiful location and lovely space

Perfect location in Nightcliff, loved having the pool! Great aircon and wifi, close walking distance to Nightcliff Markets and other key locations. Great support for check in process.

A relaxing stay in Darwin

I enjoyed my stay at "A Night in Nightcliff". Property was exactly as advertised and Cate and Sean were excellent to deal with; they even provided breakfast items to help settle in and an informative guide to Darwin beforehand. Worth the price and I would stay there again.

Lovely house conveniently located in Nightcliff

We enjoyed our stay in Nightcliff. Conveniently located with short walk to local supermarkets, cafes, Sunday market and the Niughcliff foreshore. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was nice to have a pool to use also during the hot weather.

Better Properties Available

We were very disappointed with the property and it was ruining our holiday so we left after 3 days of a planned 6 day stay. The house is very old and desperately needs a major refurb. The furniture, fixtures & fittings and linens were well past their best and need to be replaced. The newest items seemed to be the aircon units which worked well. The garden area around the small pool is overgrown and needs some attention, although this was still the best part of the property. A surprise was the amount of children's toys which took up a lot of space inside & outside, it gave the impression a creche is run there when it's not rented out! We encountered cockroaches every day and whilst it's the tropics they were the first we had seen after travelling for over a month around Bali, which is just as tropical! After one night we started to look for an alternative place to stay, but because it was the weekend it took a couple of days to find somewhere, but it was a larger, cleaner more modern property in a better area and cheaper! I wish we had seen that first. We notified the property owner we were moving out and gave them some feedback, but have had no response to date, I'm sure this review may change that. Having read the reviews before booking we had high expectations, I cannot understand how other renters scored the property so highly, I cannot recommend booking this property to anyone, please look elsewhere.

Great time

We arrived on a late flight and the property access process was well described and easy to follow. The house had everything we needed to have an awesome time in the Top end. We would recommend this place to any family wanting to be in the NightCliff area

Wonderful stay

This property was perfect for our time in Darwin. We were there visiting family so did not need to be in the city. Being in Nightcliff was great for using the bike path, using the Olympic size swimming pool in that suburb and viewing beautiful sunsets. We cooled off daily in the pool on the property and enjoyed some relaxing evening swims. The house had everything we needed and a well stocked fridge and pantry for cooking purposes. I would definitely stay again.

Thirty years in the making

Our Nightcliff stay was the prelude to our trip on The Ghan. The property was wonderful and relaxing. We were continually surprised by the level of detail with the provisioning of the property ie. kitchen & laundry staples. Would love to come back in the future sometime.

Perfect for families

This was the perfect place to stay for a family with young kids (mine were 5 and 1). They had a portacot, high chair and even a change table set up for us. So many toys and books for the kids to play with, and board games. It was clean, thoughtfully set up, with an undercover outdoor area, and the pool (and all of the pool toys!!!) was perfect. Highly recommend!

Second time still amazing

This was our second time staying here. The house is so well set up for us and the two kids and everything you need for fun days at home or adventures out and about. The pool is perfect and the kids had a blast and spent hours swimming every day. Cannot recommend this place enough, it is a great place to stay!

We loved our stay in Nightcliff. Nice neighbourhood, lots of toys at the house for our toddler to play with, and a pool! Sean was a great host.

Beautiful home, with lots of touches, fresh fruit, muesli, milk and yoghurt on arrival. Well stocked with sunscreen, mozzie spray and staple foods. Close to everything. Quick communication. Loved it

Family stay

We loved our time at this property. We’ve stayed in a lot of holiday homes but never one that has been stocked as well as this one. Sean and Cate have everything you could think of covered. Beautiful quality linen, brilliantly stocked kitchen (including sharp knives!), an abundance of pool toys plus a huge range of toys and activities for young kids. Sean and Cate also supplied a few little goodies on our arrival which was a lovely surprise. Super clean property and feels very safe and private. Lovely pool and outdoor area. Can’t fault it and would absolutely stay here again. Hosts very easy to communicate with too. Thank you 🙌🏻
