About the home
“Cuttriss by the Beach” is a spacious, well-equipped, pet friendly home only a 100m walk to the Inverloch foreshore. A 15-minute stroll will take you into the busy town centre where you will find a supermarket, cafes & restaurants; the bustling regional capital of Wonthaggi is only a 15-minute drive away. Some of the many features of this family friendly home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
Upstairs comprises an open plan kitchen / dining area leading to the undercover balcony with partial ocean views. Close by is a living area (with TV), and two bedrooms. There is a bathroom (with shower over bath) and a separate toilet.
Downstairs contains another living room (with kitchenette & TV) leading out to the patio and spa. There are a further four bedrooms, two more bathrooms (one with shower over bath and a toilet, the other with a freestanding bath and shower). There is an additional separate toilet. There are two laundries also – one being large and dual-purposed as a kid’s playroom! In case of inclement weather, the property has a purpose-built games room equipped with a 3/4 size billiard table and a table-tennis table, together with the necessary accessories, and another TV.
Outdoor Areas
Upstairs is a covered Balcony (with BBQ & 4 person outdoor setting) that has ocean views. Downstairs is a rear patio with the private 6-seater electric heated spa, overlooking the enclosed yard - perfect for kids and pets. There is parking for 2 cars in the double carport, plus space for another vehicle (car and/or a boat) in the driveway, and additional parking on the street.
Kitchen
The fully appointed main kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, a Nespresso pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and cook top.
The second kitchen upstairs contains another fridge, sink, microwave, and electric oven and cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
The home has three reverse cycle split system units; one each in the upstairs kitchen, games room & downstairs living room. There is gas central heating upstairs, and stand-alone fans in each of the bedrooms.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 11 beds, accommodating up to 16 guests:
Bedroom 1 (Upstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 2 (Upstairs): One Double bed
Bedroom 3 (Downstairs): One Queen bed plus one set of Single bunks
Bedroom 4 (Downstairs): One Double bed plus one set of Single bunks
Bedroom 5 (Downstairs): One Double bed
Bedroom 6 (Downstairs): Two Single beds
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process - Local council restrictions are in place for this property and compliance is mandatory.
