Beach Harbor Resort offers the best waterfront property with affordable room and event rates in Door County! This family-owned resort understands family vacations but also caters to couples or friends looking for an affordable getaway. You never need to leave the property to have fun. The entertainment starts with the sand beach, boat rentals, large fire pit overlooking the water, grills, tube/ski charters, fishing charters, sailing charters, Potawatomi State Park, and Waterfront Mary’s Bar & Grill. Free kayak and SUP rentals included with your stay.
The Beach House Cottage is your home away from home. Perfect for families or traveling couples, the cottage is fully equipped. It has a spectacular view and is located 45' from the water. You will enjoy the spacious layout of the cottage, complete with large dining and living rooms and a great deck overlooking the bay. You will enjoy a fully stocked kitchen and central air throughout the cottage. Prepare to grill out and enjoy your private fire pit with a great view!

Perfect location

Located next to Potowatomi State Park with a restaurant/bar on premises was the perfect scenario for us to finish our 1121 mile journey on the Ice Age Trail. Bar staff was friendly and food was good. House was very clean but the overall structure is questionable. It needs some TLC. There are soft spots in many parts of the floor which seemed as though someday soon someone may fall right through. Water pressure in the en-suite bathroom was almost nonexistent in the shower. The main hall bath shower was good though. Mattresses were fair-could be time for new ones. Plenty of towels. We were there in winter so a few more blankets would have helped too. Overall an adequate place but the price should have been adjusted a bit lower for the quality of the building and the season.

Great Find!

We've been coming up to Door County for years. This year my daughter and I were riding in the Century bike ride in Sturgeon Bay. We found the Beach House and it was more than perfect!!!!! Very spacious, comfy beds, with all the necessary amenities. It is right on the water with a fire pit which we used the entire time we were there. They have a restaurant about 1000 feet away with great food, drinks and a wonderful staff. It was such a great getaway for our family and we will definitely be back. Thank you!

Location is Fantastic

The pictures do not do this place justice, it is spacious and fully stocked with everything you could need including two refrigerators. My family and I had a wonderful time hanging out in the backyard and watching TV at night. Thanks for a wonderful stay! We will be back

Disappointing

We were very excited to come and spend a long weekend getaway in Door County. When we found out that we had to check in a day earlier, I sent an email to the property manager explaining our situation that we needed to check in Thursday night. We received a response that this was ok, and when I inquired about how much extra it would cost, I was told nothing. When we arrived, we were told that they were not expecting us until Friday. When I showed them the email responses they still seemed to be confused. After what seemed like 15 minutes, I finally said that we were going to go get something to eat, and when I came back, I was hoping for a solution. We received the following solution: they had an apartment for rent, but that would cost us additional money. They waived the pet fee, and would provide us with a gift certificate for dinner at their adjoining restaurant. They would have the beach house ready for us the next day. Although the apartment was very nice, the steps for my disabled wife were a challenge. When we checked into the beach house the next day, we were underwhelmed. The beach house was very worn, blanket on the king size bed was torn, water pressure on the showers was well below standard, cracks in ceilings, and the WiFi so my kids could work on homework was terrible. Honestly, not worth the per night charge based on condition. In closing, I do appreciate that they provided us with a solution. The food and the service in the restaurant was very good, but honestly the whole experience left a bad impression.

Great location even/especially in winter

We had a great overnight here! Loved the location! We ate our carryout meals at the large dining table, looking directly at the lake, which is only feet away! Proximity to Potawanami State Park is fantastic! We had an amazing winter hike with our leashed dog!

Great location & comfy spot

Amazing cottage with the bay as your backyard! Morning sunrises are incredible & evening bonfires end this perfect getaway.

Loved the location on the water, beautiful views!

Loved the location to all the sites we wanted to see. Waterfront Mary's next door had good food & drinks. It was nice having the free paddle boards & kayaks just a few steps outside our door. Fire pit was great every night. The only complaint we had that there was dog hair in the house, it hadn't been cleaned very well but we have a dog at home & are used to that but others may not be.
