Cute 1970s accommodation with great views out to the ocean. The kitchen oven and microwave/steamer were complicated to use. No instruments were provided for the microwave. The cooktop heat came and went every 30 seconds. As a result, took a long time to heat up food. The washing machine/dryer didn't spin as there was something wrong, possibly the bearings so the clothes came out wet. Very challenging to dry wet clothes in a cold climate. The property manager offered to dry the clothes at their office which was very thoughtful but we ran out of time. We ended up wasting time doing the basics at this property. Beds were comfortable enough, but because we weren't permitted to use the fireplace, it was a very cold place to stay.

Girls Trip from Brisbane

We stayed for two nights and wished we booked longer, the place was beautiful, we even had extra firewood brought over for our wine and cheese night in. Will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful place and toddler friendly

We loved our stay. The setting is beautiful and the house has lovely spaces that one can use. We loved that there were toys, a high chair and plastic utensils for our toddler.

Good location and nice house, looking a little tired. Cooker was complicated to operate. Barbeque is functional but also seen better days.

Perfect spot to relax

Granite Beach House is the perfect spot to base yourself for exploring this beautiful region. It's just a few minutes' drive from the centre of Coles Bay with its little cafes and restaurants and has the most peaceful outlook over the beach. Although an older property the house has everything you need and is well-decorated and clean. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property.

nice location in Coles Bay

The location was great. The property was clean and tidy. However, there was no clothes dryer. Also, the lawns needed mowing and the garden needed a nit of attention. Otherwise a great place to stay in Coles Bay.

Great stay

A lovely house with great views. A bit disappointed that we were unable to use the fire. Would be good to have a bath mat. Great kitchen facilities.

Managing agent not helpful

We arrived early and asked for code, said they would call back, they did not so we phoned again- they said cleaner we still there - we said they were not - they then said someone had to check call at accomodation and check - none one came - once again they lied - not helpful lied

Sensational views, comfortable and homely accommodation

One of the best holiday homes we stayed in...great location, close to Coles Bay and national parks. Check in process was smooth, the place was exactly as described. Nice living area with sensational views over the water in a quiet neighbourhood .. Large TV in the living area which was bright and airy.The bedrooms were good size. Kitchen had everything we needed (some instructions on using the top oven would be helpful). Coles bay is about 5 minutes drive and has a coffee shop, grocery store and couple of other options Overall very nice place, might use it again next time.

First time in The Bay

Great place, excellent locaton, well appointed. We felt safe and at home at Granite Beach House. Everything we needed and few thing we never tnought we would. Recomended.

Beautiful views, great house!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The house was clean and cosy, the views were amazing, the area was lovely and peaceful if you’re after a relaxing getaway and we had everything we needed there to make it a really comfortable stay. One tip though; take some bottled water as the house runs on tank water and it was just easier than needing to boil the kettle to clean the water properly :)

Million Dollar View!

Granite Beach House is a great property in an excellent area, but the thing that really sets it apart from other properties is the amazing sea view. It's spectacular! The house is comfortable and well equipped, with everything needed for a holiday. The neighbourhood is very quiet, and the beach is just a short walk away. We can certainly recommend this property!

Stunning views

Property is lovely with everything you need. Loved the fireplace which was at times too hot! Beach across the street. Kitchen with everything you need to cook. Only downfall for us was the small bed.

Surprise location

The house was excellent and the access to service and shops no issue. The location overlooking the bay was a delight, away from the high density tourist area, access to a calm peaceful beach.
