Anne the host, offered me the one bedroom balcony ocean view apartment when I booked. I accepted eagerly. On arrival she denied seeing my response so our apartment was now on the ground floor with absolutely no ocean views. The cover photos are deceptive as if you book the ground floor apartments you are looking at the road. The property description says it is equipped with WiFi and netflix, of which neither was working. The interior was very dusty and the fry pans were dirty.

Woolgoolga stay

Excellent stay in beautiful Woolgoolga

We loved our stay at this property. It was exceptionally clean, modern and comfortable. The owner was lovely to deal with and helpful. The property is opposite the beach and an easy stroll into the main shopping area. Would highly recommend and will stay hear again next time we come to Woolgoolga.

Fantastic modern 2 bedroom unit, easy walking distance to shops and eating, beachfront and across from patrolled swimming beach, extremely clean with beautiful touches, lovely hosts. Highly recommended.

Five Star Location

Fantastic spot right across from the water. Park the car and walk everywhere you need. Stunning beach location. Not crowded, plenty of room for everyone. We had the exact break we needed. Perfect.

GREAT LOCATION

WOW would be the first thing I would say. If you are looking at just wanting to get away just to chill and very affordable this location would be my first choice. Great location and very peaceful. Short walk to everything from a cafe to restaurants and many other shops but overall just a great location. Friendly host and great people to have a conversation with. Wonderful Woolgoolga by the Sea

Anne and Eddie were wonderful hosts, friendly and super helpful. The apartment was spotless, spacious, great decor and across the road from the patrolled surf beach. A lovely sanctuary to relax in, very near shops and cafés. Very well-equipped for keen cooks. Woolgoolga is a lovely little town, no high rise and easy to walk around. We plan to stay again later in the year as it was all so restful.

The Story of Eddie and Anne
We moved from the city in 1980 and chose Woolgoolga as it was a very similiar location to the Eddies early childhood in North Curl Curl. We chose a semi rural location to raise our children for 36 years and thought a sea change would be ideal for our retirement.
We purchased Woolgoolga by the Sea on 2006 and intended to renovate and it became possible in 2016.
The renovation and result was beyond our wildest dreams. We now have three beautiful apartments for holiday rental and our own home.
Eddie is a retired builder and a very keen fisherman and tends the property with fine detail.
Anne is a retired teacher and loves to sew and create and is constantly revamping and adding interesting features to the apartments.
Our efforts are monitored carefully by enthusiastic family members so the results are the best we can create.
We love our new venture as landlords and attempt to make all stays enjoyable
