Summer Home

Our annual mountain trip was AMAZING at the Cork & Creek! This was our 3rd time staying at this lovely home and we have already planned our return visit for next Summer! Terri is THE BEST and always makes sure we have everything we need and more😘 Our mornings were spent on the porch and our evenings were spent around the firepit enjoying the sounds of nature. The home is conveniently located to several wineries. We have visited most of them🍷 Make sure you go to Buckley to see Terri and get a glass of Campfire. My new favorite! Thank you for opening your beautiful home to us. We will see you next Summer, if not before!

Home away from home

This was our 3rd time staying at Cork and Creek. We truly love this place. Every detail of this home is well planned with perfect finishing touches through out. The kitchen has everything you might need, the beds are really comfortable, but our favorite place is the screened in porch. We spent most of our time there and had a fire in the fireplace. We stayed when there was an earthquake, and Terri called to check on us. She really provides a personal touch! Make sure to visit her (and her husband) at Buckley Vineyards. No doubt, we will be back!

Perfect place for Girls Getaway

Perfect everything! This cabin was the perfect location, within walking distance to Otts and Buckley. Just a few minutes drive and you can get to several other wineries as well. Cabin had every thing that you needed. The kitchen was very well stocked, there was plenty of coffee and coffee condiments as well. This amazing kitchen even had a wine fridge! The screened in porch is where we spent most of our time when we were at the cabin. We also spent the evening hours out by the fire pit. We saw many deer as we entered and exited the property each day. We also saw cows cooling off in the creek on the cabin property. Terri, the property manager was amazing! She answered all of our questions quickly and clearly prior to arriving at the cabin as well as a couple questions we had during our stay. She had awesome recommendations for restaurants. This is the second time we have stayed at Cork and Creek. We are already planning our stay again for next summer. We have been to many cabins over the years, but the Cork and Creek cabin is by far our favorite! Thanks again Terri for everything! We will see you next Summer!

Love this cabin

What a great 5 day getaway in Ellijay. The cabin is perfect for 2 couples. Our family went golfing and we shopped and had a great lunch! Thank you again. Don't forget to go to Buckleys!!!

Beautiful mountain cabin

Property is exactly as shown in photos. They have thought of and provided everything you could possibly need or want. All beds were extremely comfortable!! Beautifully decorated with very comfortable furniture. This is by far the nicest rental I’ve ever stayed in. Already thinking of reasons to come back! Wonderful communication with the host who responds promptly if you need her.

Paradise in the GA Mountains

This property was exactly as described and more! Kitchen was very well equipped and the beds were amazing. The proximity to local wineries and attractions cannot be beat. We loved seeing the cows and wild turkeys on a daily basis down by the river. Terri was very responsive both prior to the trip and during the trip with a few questions we had. We have already book another trip in a few months.

Perfect Cabin for Girl’s Getaway!

We cannot say enough how much we enjoyed this perfect cabin! The moment you walk in, you feel at home! All of the beds were so comfortable. The room with two twins was perfect for the two early risers who liked to get up early and enjoy a cup of coffee on the porch over looking the creek and mountains.☕️ The water pressure was perfect in the showers. The cabin came completely stocked. There was even coffee, creamers, and sugars. My favorite was the wine fridge, which came in handy! 😁 We spent most of our time at the cabin on the screened in porch, sitting in front of the fire, laughing and drinking wine. We ate every meal at the table on the porch overlooking the mountains. We also enjoyed the fire pit outside. The location of the cabin could not have been better. It was a short walk to Ott’s Vineyard AND Buckley Winery, one of my favorites ❤️🍷❤️. Each day we saw several deers roaming in the backyard. Terri was amazing…Answering all of our questions prior to our arrival, as well as leaving us a free wine tasting card on the counter for Buckley vineyards, where we were able to meet Terri in person! I have stayed at over a dozen different cabins over the past several years, this by far has been my favorite! The Cork and Creek was immaculate and there were so many cute little surprises upon our arrival. We are already looking at the calendar to plan our trip for next Summer. ❤️

Wonderful...again!

From the moment we walked in, the warmth of the home was felt. Attention to detail can be seen throughout the home. Terri welcomed us warmly and invited us to see her at Buckley Vineyard. This home is secluded in the woods yet close enough to restaurants, vineyards, grocery stores, and activities. This was our second time at the Cork and Creek. We are already planning our next visit!

A perfect stay in Ellijay!!

What a wonderful place to stay in Ellijay! We have stayed at many VRBO’s over several years of traveling, and the Cork and Creek cottage is right at the top of our favorite places. Everything that is described and pictured is 100% accurate, and the owners have created a “home away from home” that makes you want to stay longer. There are so many things to do in the Ellijay area, but you be tempted to just unpack, kick your feet up, and enjoy the ambience of sittin’ on the back porch at the cottage. If we get back to Ellijay one day, we’ll gladly return to the Cork and Creek!

Best VRBO EVER!

We had an unbelievable vacation at the Cork and Creek Cottage. Before we even got there, Terri reached out to us and asked us to call her if we had any requests. Her hospitality started our vacation in such a great way. We loved the cottage. It was solid quality and so well decorated and furnished. It had everything we needed to be comfortable and happy! We will definitely go again!

Clean is high on my list of requirements and this place is spotless and so comfortable. The porch is amazing and the folks you interact with are the best! I love the setting and the town of Ellijay. We have stayed here twice and will again! 5 stars for excellence!
