キャメル山を見渡す壮大な景色を望め、周辺のワイナリーのすぐ近くに位置しています。ヒースコートの町から19kmです。 Heathcoteはオーストラリアのビクトリア州中心部の町で、メルボルンから北へ110キロ、ベンディゴから南東へ40キロのところにあるMcIvor Highwayを通ります。

Time to relax!

A fantastic property! Plenty of space with a huge living area and undercover areas next to the pool. The outdoor fireplace is a favourite for the adults once the kids are in bed. We love staying here!!

Fantastic property and wonderful host

We thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at House on the Hill and everything was terrific a second time around. Karen is a generous and responsive host and the property is fantastic for a large family group of all ages - absolutely huge lounge room, well equipped kitchen, big bedrooms and a swimming pool. This place has everything a big extended family could need with lots of space for getting together and enjoying a meal. The pool was an added bonus.

Weekend away

House was great. Well appointed, spacious, warm (once the central heating got going - plenty of blankets in the meantime), and loved the snooker table. Will be keen to return in summer to make full use of the outdoor areas (and pool) too. We were a little disappointed to discover no fireplace inside, but that was our mistake for not reading the ad properly!

A View from Every Window

We were a family of 12 celebrating a special birthday at House on the Hill. What an amazing home with an equally amazing view. You are literally on top of the hill with incredible views all around with the most beautiful sunrise and sunsets. I have never rented a house with enough plates, cutlery and glasses for more people than the house sleeps and everyone slept very comfortably. Thankyou for a wonderful stay

The perfect house for a weekend getaway

I absolutely loved this property! I came here for a weekend with my friends to celebrate a birthday and could not have been happier with the property and the area. Karen's house is absolutely stunning and has so many activities to keep you busy and having fun. The grounds are amazing and there is so much to explore. I wish I could give it 6 stars.

The most wonderful stay

It was our second time visiting The House on the Hill as a family and we once again had the most incredible time. The house is really well appointed and stocked with everything you would need which makes it so much easier. It’s on such a beautiful property too. Amazing place that kept surprising us

My friends and I had an amazing time while staying at House on the hill. we were blown away by the spaciousness of both the property and area. Karen was a terrific host who communicated everything well in advance and was so helpful with any queries we had. She even let us check out much later since the place was still available the following day :)

Words can't really explain

Our stay at House on the Hill was insane. Getting there was so easy (google maps took us all the way) Driving up the driveway was exciting. The house is set up on a hill with views from every single door and window. The house is so well equipped, it has EVERYTHING! Infact it was well above what we had thought from the listing. The home is spacious and grand, everything is so well thought out. If you're looking for somewhere to relax, this is the place. The area is so serene, the stress of the world melts away! We loved our stay here and have talked about our return already. Thank you Karen for your amazing communication and generosity.

Perfect way to celebrate the big 5-0!

Amazing location, fabulously house

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the views were fabulous, the kitchen well-stocked with pots, pans and utensils, the pool a great size, and comfy beds for the whole family. Would recommended to anyone seeking a tranquil stay with plenty of privacy!

Great getaway with spectacular views

The House On The Hill was the perfect weekend getaway. The house is spacious and comfortable, the surrounding bush, horses and kangaroos were gorgeous, and the view of the sunset from the hill top fire pit was very special! Karen was a joy to deal with, super helpful and always quick to respond. We will be back with the kids in the summer with full intentions to make use of that beautiful pool!

Lovely weekend getaway!!

Love this property! Second time staying at “House on the hill” and just love the house, the surrounding landscape, the privacy, the friendly horses and the ease of arrival and departure. My entire group who stayed could not speak more highly of the property… highly recommended!

Perfect house for friends to gather

We absolutely loved this house. It is huge with large bedrooms, spacious kitchen, enormous family and dining areas and an extensive outdoor entertaining area. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need which was perfect when we self catered one night. The integrated sound system was well utilised and we loved the outdoor area with open fire. Brilliant communication from Karen and easy check in and out process. Already planning our return trip.

Magnificent house with the most amazing view

Karen is such an amazing host. She’s so understanding and so welcoming. So quick with response and gives you full details of everything. The house is so amazing that my 5yr old son asked me if we can stay there forever. The sunset view is something you see only on photos. You can sit outside by the pool/pergola and just watch the sky dance in colours. With the owner’s permission we had a very small outdoor family wedding and everyone was just so amazed of the entire property. Will love to stay there again! I cannot find a single fault with this place.

Family Summer holiday

This property is absolutely gorgeous, with lovely views from the back deck and pool area. We stayed at House on the Hill with another family and there was ample space and very comfortable for all. The kitchen is well equipped and we used the outdoor fire every night! The kids particularly loved feeding and hanging out with the horses each day. Karen was a pleasure to deal with and answered any questions promptly. Highly recommend for families or groups wanting a luxe rural getaway!

We bought the land as is and over the period of 4 years my husband who is a builder painstakingly built the property over the weekends and commuting from Melbourne each weekend. We also had to put in power, septic tanks and various exacavating of driveways.

The view was the most amazing sight with views of the mountains - Mt Camel. We love the peaceful location and seeing the change of weather from where the house located seeing the beautiful sunrises, storms and sunsets.
