Overall nice. Two cleaning ladies were still cleaning when we arrived. It could have been more thoroughly cleaned. I witnessed one of them sweep a rug not vacuuming as it needed. I vacuumed as soon as they left. Food under coffee table and crumbs under couch so I vacuumed. Dirty Sheets still on sofa sleeper. Ceiling fans w ceiling lights needed in every bedroom. The switches are already on walls for them!

Great place to stay

Lovely Condo, Good location

The view is outstanding! The condo is beautiful inside and plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 children. We have rented condos over the past 8 years because my parents moved and this one we all agree is the best. All units have been in this area captains walk, Hampton etc.! We all loved the shape of deck because it allowed you to talk and not so small you feel like you are lined up in a row!

Great stay

We had a lovely stay. The condo was renovated, and the management was super responsive if we ever had issues or questions. The only negative was that the internet was very spotty. The TVs were all on the internet so they would go out. The phone service wasn't great either.

Very Nice, Family Enjoyed!

Property is in a quiet, family friendly community with beautiful beaches. Properties are well maintained and easy to navigate. Renting bicycles are great convenience especially for traveling around the gated community. Close to everything needed! Enjoyed the stay!

This condo was wonderful! Very clean and great location!!! The only thing I would have liked was ceiling fans in master but other than that it was a great place to stay. Would definitely book again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love coming to stay here and enjoy it every time. It has the perfect view and convenience for our family. The one thing I will say is that I would take up all rugs as they need replaced and honestly feel it’s easier to just not have them since they just collect all the yuck. Furniture is in need of being updated in the living room and new paint as I’m sure is due to many people in and out. The 3rd bathroom for sure we noticed needed attention. All these are just things I know with so many people it happens but with it being so much we noticed since our last stay. Especially living room furniture and rugs. We definitely hope to return and hope this condo continues to keep the appeal that we love. The Wi-Fi was definitely an issue as it constantly kept crashing. With that said we love the views, the pool, the convenience to the elevator, beach and pool. We love the space the condo provides, the atmosphere, and the area.

Great stay!

Beautiful property!!! We have stayed in many units over the years at Barrington Arms. This is our second time staying in this unit and it it by far our favorite. Thank you for helping us make such great memories!!!

Birthday Family/friend trip

Fantastic property and location! Celebrated hubby’s 50th. Friends stayed one night before they could check in nearby. Other friends came over from Sea Pines to celebrate with dinner. The rest of the trip family came in for long weekend. This property was the envy of everyone. Beautiful inside and outside. Everyone had their own space, bath, and family area was very accommodating! Easily accessible by elevator. We never heard another person unless outside. We will be back for sure!

Lacking Basic Necessities

The wifi is only 3MBPS...cannot watch TV uninterrupted and difficult to work on computer. We restarted the router twice per day but didn't help much. They give you two: trash bags. dishwashing pods, and laundry pods. There are zero pantry items to cook with. The coffee maker did not work.

Great updated unit. Everything you need for a week of relaxation. Highly recommend renting a deck boat at Shelter Cove and taking it out on the sound. Easy to operate and you'll see many dolphin.

Beautiful place

Newly renovated and beautiful. Check in was easy. Response to "emergency" (we lost our gate pass- probably blew out of car) was instantaneous. Another phone call with a question was returned promptly during normal business hours.

Beautiful Location

Two of my friends and I enjoyed a long weekend stay at this beautiful location. Very well appointed. We each had our own room which was a plus...and the deck was just a big add.

Excellent

HHI is our family vacation spot. This year we stayed at Barrington, Palmetto Dunes. The property was clean, great view, had everything we needed for our stay. The rental company made it easy for us to check in and updates were given as needed. I definitely recommend this place and I will definitely stay again.

Beautiful Condo!

We loved this condo! It was perfect for our family! The kitchen had everything we needed with updated appliances. We have stayed in places in the past that were not well cleaned but this one was very clean! We will be coming back again next summer!

Fantastic location...but needs a facelift and thorough cleaning!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was in a fantastic location. With that said, it is very very dated and was not clean. The bathrooms were quite disgusting. We wanted to get cleaning supplies to get through the week. The stove was so dirty that the smoke alarms went off when we turned it on. The drains were clogged and the mgmt company sent someone immediately but they just took apart the sink and left a gaping hole. They cleaned the stove but it smelled like chemicals when we turned it on. I really think this property could be great. Some TLC, clorox and a minimal facelift. But, I really do not think it should have been rented out in this condition.
