Coos Bay Mural Cabin

We had a pretty good stay at the mural cabin. There had been a wind storm a few weeks earlier that knocked out the wifi tower and it hadn't been repaired yet because of the holidays so we had no wifi and although that wasn't the end of the world, we were counting on having it and would've appreciated knowing it'd be down the whole time. There was a little bit of a wet dog smell in the bedroom. I didn't smell it all the time but when I did it wasn't so pleasant. On the positive side, the kitchen had the things we needed, the beds were comfortable, bathroom was good and the cabin stayed nice and warm.

Different unit

We did not stay in the property that we booked due to remodeling in the reserved unit that was not completed in time to accommodate our family of 3. This review is for the nice condo on the estuary that they provided as a replacement. It was spacious and sunny, right on the water, with almost everything we needed for our stay. Unfortunately this condo didn’t have the sheets and towels needed for our 3rd family member. When asked about getting these items we were told we would need to drive back to the management office to get them. We were very tired from a long day and chose to skip the driving. We made due with what we had. I wish the management had been a bit more accommodating and offered to drive the needed items out at any point during the night. In the end, this condo had the space for 3 people, but not the needed linens. If you stay at one of the properties, I suggest you have them check to make sure everything needed is provided ahead of your arrival.

Absolute treasure on the OR coast

This property was absolutely amazing to me. It was easy to check in and very clean and quiet. I would suggest this to ANYONE taking a trip to the OR coast. Crabbing and the beach were within 5 minutes of the Painted Cabin. I had the best time. Thanks so much.

Love the Murel Cabin

We had a great 3 days staying here. Mt parents live close by so we needed the area for convenience. The cabin size was perfect for us. It is older but nicely maintained. The cabin is located in a small RV park which can appear a bit sketchy at first but it absolutely is not. It was very quiet and I felt very comfortable there with my 2 little girls. Staff was super friendly.
