Cute Getaway

We needed a central location for a curling bonspiel and this was great. A little off the beaten path but still convenient to get to. Inside is adorable and exactly as pictured. It was very quiet and we enjoyed our stay

Great place to stay for the week!

Very comfortable spot to stay for the week while checking out Kicking Horse and Golden. Kitchen has plenty of things to cook with. The space was very clean. The bed and couch were very comfortable. I'd definitely come back again!

Very good location central to Golden. The host was very helpful when I had to modify the dates of the reservation during the authorized period to do so. Not too many apartments with kitchen within center of town. Do not expect a five star location, but apartment is clean with all you need for a long stay; also close to grocery, restaurants, hiking, etc.

Super cozy!

Stayed up here for a few days to get out of the city with my partner. There was just enough space for us and enough amenities for us to cook full meals comfortably. The bed is comfy, the couch is a pullout sectional that we turned into a movie/game corner, and the bathroom is nice. It’s really close to a lot of amenities, maybe a 10 min walk tops to the grocery, liquor store, pharmacy, etc. Definitely check out the comic/game store up the street, it has pinball! There’s an amazing bakery as well just next door to the game shop. Would absolutely stay here again if we find ourselves in Golden.

Smaller than what we expected

Very small for 2 adults with luggage for a one month holiday. Had comfy bed. No laundry. Kitchen fully stocked with appliances and accessories. Bedroom very small and no table lamps. Lighting quite poor in bedroom.

Renovated hotel room.

So this is not really a mountain cabin but renovated hotel room. There are some very run down "cabins' nearby on another property. On the upside the bathroom is lovely and the kitchen is well stocked. Its also in a safe quiet area in easy walking distance to stores. I think the cleaning could be improved as the comforter smelt. I am not sure it was washed each time. Cigerratte smoke could also be detected but I think that is because there are some senior long term residents who smoke outside.

The host was consistently responsive before our arrival. We were driving through several low‑coverage areas, and their clear check‑in directions and timely replies were helpful. On checkout day, the host handled the cleaning, which made it easy for us to leave early. The property is close to the town center in Golden, BC, within a cluster of roughly two dozen bungalows. Most of the main tourist area is across the Kicking Horse River. The unit was clean and stocked with basics such as coffee, cookware, and utensils.Golden is a typical Canadian Rockies ski town with plenty of summer activities, and rental prices tend to reflect that. Given the slightly dated appearance of the bungalow and its location a bit away from the more tourist‑focused spots, we felt the rate was somewhat high. We didn’t need air‑conditioning during our stay, but travelers should note the property may not have it.Overall, we had a good experience in the Golden area and found the host’s communication helpful throughout our stay.

Studio intéressant, un peu loin de Yoho. Quelques améliorations à apporter.

Très bonne communication avec le propriétaire mais sur place, il manque plusieurs indications (accès Buanderie) qui éviteraient des échanges.

Cozy and comfortable

Stayed here for a weekend and it had everything we needed. It's very small, and with 2 teenage boys it was a bit tight, but we were just fine. The neighbourhood seemed a little sketchy, but we had no issues. It was good for a couple of nights.
