We had a wonderful week in Onset at this lovely property (2 adults, 2 teens, 1 child). The suite is spacious and clean and the deck has beautiful views of the Bay. The welcome binder was so helpful. Keyless entry was also very helpful. The beach is a stone’s throw away - the water in the bay is so calm - perfect for young kids and adults alike. We would definitely stay here again.

We Didn’t Want to Leave! We truly loved our stay at The SandDollar Suite. From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed and right at home. It was exactly the kind of place we were hoping to find for a little getaway. Our favorite part was definitely the private deck overlooking Onset Beach. We spent so much time out there just sitting together, enjoying the view, watching the water, and slowing down. Mornings with coffee and evenings on the deck quickly became some of our favorite moments of the trip. The suite was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We also loved being so close to the beach and everything in Onset. It was wonderful to be able to walk around, enjoy the area, and then come back to such a peaceful place. What really made the stay special was how easy it was to simply relax and enjoy being together. Carolyn, our host, kept us informed and made sure we were well taken care of. We made some great memories here and honestly weren't ready to go home when our stay was over!We would absolutely stay at The SandDollar Suite again and hope to be back. It’s a beautiful little getaway with a view we won’t soon forget!

Perfect getaway spot

My daughters and I fell in love with this quaint and spacious place. Plenty of room for all of us, and the view of the Onset beach was incredible! We had everything we needed for the 5 days we stayed. There were plenty of things to do right in town, but also not too far a drive to the ferries to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard. I 100% recommend staying here.

Great location

Loved the location & outside deck, fantastic view. Quiet neighbourhood, can walk to everything in onset Apartment very quirky & cute. Would of liked a few more glasses, & 2 more outside chairs. The beds in the loft room are 2 singles. Overall a great stay & fab location for exploring cape cod.

The smell could have been the glade wall plug-ins, we haven't had any guests mention this before (or since).

Waterview

Very good considering it's age of 120 years old. Only thing missing was iron, ironing board, satchel a, and lamps in living room and master bedroom. Owners were very pleasant and responsive. Would definitely return for another visit.

I grew up in the area and love the beach. My husband and I also run a company (MemoryCo) that helps seniors stay engaged and entertained while in Assisted living/Memory Care.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

This property was built circa 1890 as a Victorian Sea Captain's house. Later, after the turn of the century it was turned into a hotel known as the Marcy House, and later, The Prospect Inn. During the 1920's the property was known for having a 'speak easy' during times of prohibition. There is a lot of history and a lot of great energy on the property. The location is also prime, because it is steps to the beach and steps to many of the great restaurants in Onset. The apartments are very open and can comfortably a large family. The kitchens are well stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, etc.

この宿泊施設の特徴

We are uniquely situated in a perfect spot- steps from Onset and Shell Point beaches, steps from Marc Anthony's famous pizza, and right across the street from a fantastic breakfast diner. Within very close walking distance you will also find a local market/liquor store, post office, spa, salon, multiple beautiful parks, playgrounds, tennis courts, local bars, and nice waterfront dining options. We are also very close to the boat rental/kayak rental area. You could spend a week in Onset and not need to drive at all! In additional there are many fairs, festivals, and concerts happening all summer long!
