Absolutely fantastic stay! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, with great attention to detail,p from easy check-in instructions to local recommendations. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. I felt right at home. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Great place , excellent location , excellent facilities Extremely quite and relaxing easy walk to the pub for a great mealBit foggy and chilly but it’s that time of year and the big coonara wood heater makes it very warm and relaxing inside Definitely recommend we were 4 mature couples very relaxing and enjoyable Thanks Cindy & Rob

Amazing relaxing location

Rob and Cindy are amazing hosts and have a truly amazing place, the outdoor area is massive and can be enclosed or opened up to suit any weather conditions.Private jetty is a great touch also.The entire family enjoyed the stay and the bungalow is set up perfectly for a little extra privacy.Would highly recommend!!!

Thoroughly enjoyable stay

The reason for our stay was for the family to meet for a short pre-Christmas get together. We traveled from Queensland to catch up with family in Melbourne. Together we had a relaxing couple of days in the comfortable Casa del Lago. The outdoor area was a godsend as the heavens opened and we happily amused ourselves on the huge covered deck. All our needs were met and the accommodation was clean and very comfortable. Thank you Rob and Cindy

Great family weekend

Really enjoyed our family stay at CDL. We spent all our time on the large deck and enjoyed the games provided too. Access to the lake and pub made it so easy for anyone to go where they wanted, when they wanted. Bakery and petrol station not too far away which was also super handy

Perfect!

CDL was perfect for our extended family and the location is second to none! Right on the water and a short walk to the pub for meals. Kids loved playing games on the grassed area and the adults loved the enclosed pergola for night time drinks and fun! We will definitely be back.

Highly recommended

Lovely house and accurate description. Photos are not perfect in the listing, but property is beautiful, hosts are very accommodating. The backyard on the bank of lake is nice and very suitable for kids. We ll definitely recommend this and will rebook in future.

Great House

Group of 9 Adults the house was perfect for us, only thing that would have been amazing was if there was better heating in the outside area especially for the winter months as thats where we spent most of the time. Location was perfect and the view and access to the lake was great.

Perfect spot on water in Bonnie Doon

Lovely property backing directly onto lake. Extremely responsive and accommodating hosts. We enjoyed the Bonnie Doon pub just 200m up the road for lunch, reading in the backyard with amazing views and a short 15m drive to Mansfield for essentials and activities like cinema and mini golf. If you have a boat, paddle boards etc or like to fish there is even more to do on the lake itself with direct access. Will be back.

Casa De Lago

We were all excited to get away and as soon as we arrived exploring our home for the week we were all the more excited. Exactly what we were after!! Right on the water, big deck space with BBQ and big table with lots of chairs, beautiful green lawn to relax on in the back yard. Comfortable beds and couches, bathrooms and television (the one in the main bedroom needs work) Great little jetty to tie up our fishing boat and swim off. Pub within 3 minutes' walk along the bank. Thanks so much for sharing your house with our family. We will be rebooking for the same time next year.

Break from life

Was a beautiful location with a very well furnished inviting home. The outdoor kitchen area was very dangerous as beers just kept on flowing whilst overlooking a slightly full Lake Eildon.

Great property on the water

Fantastic home with all the amenities needed, outdoor decking area overlooking the water is fantastic and when not our boating was where we spent most of our time. Will definitely be booking again for a family stay :)

Great location

The house and bungalow were perfect for our 4 gemerstions of family. The outdoor deck and entertainment area was sensational and the view to the water fantastic. The kids wete kept busy trowing rocks into the water and we even caught a fish which was a bit of excitement. Great walks and places to explore and an easy walk to the pub. Perfect to our dogs with use of dog run while we went to the snow for the day which was aabout a 1hr drive Highly recommend a stay here.

Fishing Trip

The property was amazing, in the best location. It had everything we needed. I would 100% recommend staying at this property. The owners were awesome and easy to talk to (even had the fire going) so the house was warm when we arrived. Overall great experience for a weekend away.

Great location

Great house for the whole family . Very comfortable with everything you need for a stay away. Our group of 10 had plenty of room. Kitchen well stocked with all equipment Great outdoor area with undercover kitchen and barbecue . Lake so close, literally 50 metres from the back door. Grandkids loved fishing and caught plenty of redfin and a carp. Took the tinny and found it easy to launch from the bank. Relaxing weekend away . Only slight critique there was no outside heating and it gets very chilly at night . May be a few reading books and kids games, even a canoe would be great. but overall very happy. Enjoyed our first stay at Lake Eildon , Bonnie Doon. Would definitely recommended this property.

Heaven on the Lake

Had the best week as this property. Our two dogs enjoyed it just as much as us. Direct access to the lake meant convenience and so much fun. The house was so well appointed for our big fam. We loved it.
