Absolutely beautiful property! Central location perfect for exploring multiple areas along the bourbon trail. Owners were very sweet and made sure we knew all the ins and outs of the property and that we had everything we needed for a great stay. Loved watching the deer and turkeys every morning.

My kids and I stayed enjoyed our stay. The property was beautiful. We enjoyed watching the wildlife in the mornings and evenings. It is very peaceful there. The house was perfect for us, It is perfect for a large family. It had everything we needed. We enjoyed a couple of game nights,one on the beautiful porch and one in the beautiful house. We were lucky enough to meet the owner. He told us the history of the property. That might have been my favorite part. I highly recommend this property. We will definitely go back.

Quiet and Spacious

The Owner was very responsive and helpful. Home is sitting on a hill where you have view all round you. Both deer and Turkey are visible from the back porch twice daily. We had everything we needed.

Went with 5 other guys...loved the property, wildlife on site, pasture views, solitude. Everyone got a big bed, plenty of room, clean all needed amenities, priced great...just what we were looking for...highly recommend

Great bourbon getaway

This house has five bedrooms and six beds all queen size or larger. Five guys all retired, headed down to the Bourbon Trail to play some golf and enjoy the bourbon. We were absolutely pleased with the home the surroundings around the home, the check in, the cleanliness of the home, and just overall the beauty of the property. I don’t think the pictures do it justice. Be it for a large family or whatever, this is the place to go. For five guys that want their own bedroom it was perfect.

Favorite spot on Bourbon Trail

This was our second stay at this property and we’re already planning our next. Spacious home. Beautiful property. Feels like home. Have no plans to stay anywhere else on our next leg of the KY Bourbon Trail. Also, best host ever!

Great Stay, Great Bourbon Tour

Visiting KY for some bourbon. Five friends that need a little space. This farm property was perfect for our group. Plenty of room and nice accommodations. The owner personally called to provide good directions and instructions for our stay. This property is off the beaten path, but worth a few extra miles to get there.

Return Visitor, Always Perfect

This is the second year we have stayed in the home for a guy's bourbon trail weekend. It's a great spot that is close to several distilleries, while being out in the country. Our group had a great time, enjoyed the morning workouts around the farm, sunrises, the evening fires and sunsets. Emmet is super welcoming and answered any questions we had.

Incredible location and experience

This was our second time staying at KenTex Farms. The house is spacious and nicely decorated. The star of the experience is the outside space, featuring acres of land and feeders that attract deer, turkeys and others. The location is convenient to visit distilleries. Most of the distilleries near Lexington and Frankfort are within 30 minutes. Those down near Bardstown and in Louisville are closer to 45 minutes, but if you plan visits geographically you can see everything in one area each day. We will be back for a third time!

Clean, comfy wonderful home.

Loads of room for our family of 8 - 2 full levels of space to enjoy. In the middle of an extreme heatwave we were able to stay cool and happy in the home. Plenty of amenities to enjoy.There were a full complement of brochures from local attractions, and perhaps the best (and most unusual) benefit of this home is that the owners were available both by phone and email to answer any questions or concerns. If we were to be in the area again this would definitely be a top pick.

Beautiful facility amid the Kentucky hills. Strategically situated on a ridge with a great view of the surrounding countryside.Loved seeing the deer and wild turkeys every day. Even saw two bobcats bounding through the fields one day. Very convenient to the Bourbon Trail, Lexington, Louisville and other Kentucky places of interest. One of the best features was the attention to detail and the owners desire and efforts to make our time there enjoyable. And it was. Would love to go back again.

We all loved our stay here! Not only was the house wonderful, but it had all of the amenities we could ask for. Empty hangars in the closets and night lights throughout. We haven't seen either of those in other homes we have visited.The views were stupendous! We had our own flock of wild turkeys that would be there mornings and evenings. The deer would wander throughout the day.It was centrally located so we could easily visit all of our planned venues.Emmett was always available and gracious.

Amazing property, fits large groups

We loved the property. Emmet was a gracious host, giving us details about the property and check in process. The property had 5 bedrooms and 4 baths, which was great for a guys trip on the Bourbon Trail. We saw lots of wildlife while drinking morning coffee, plenty of deer and some raccoons. Had a great time on the back porch enjoying bourbon and relaxing with an amazing view.

Reflection Time

This house on the ridge is the perfect place for reflection time around the pit fire each evening after visiting distilleries on the Bourbon Trail. Beautiful views of Sunrise and Sunset. Plenty of room to relax and enjoy good times with good friends.
