Great views, wonderful beach

Basic house, but clean and convenient to the beach. Breathtaking views. Lots of games and activities, such as darts and pool table. Promise sands is a wonderful swimming beach

Too short …but inviting a return

We only stayed for 2 nights and the weather/our travel plans prevented us exploring the area but Stones throw was a perfect spot to relax in front of the fire with family listening to the storms and winds battering the coastline. It has certainly left us with an invitation to return to this beautiful area for more than a couple nights. The home was just that, homely and warm with all you needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you.

Amazing Beach House

My mother and I had the most lovely time at Primrose Sands. Highly recommend this house if you’re looking to relax, cook food and enjoy the beach. Absolutely so peaceful! Make sure you look at the stars at night!

Prefect spot for a relaxing weekend

This was my second stay at Stone's Throw. It's a great, comfortable property and whilst the decor is not super modern, it is spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable and cosy. It is literally 100 steps to the water's edge from the balcony and the sunset views are incredible. It has a few different sunspots, with a wrap-around balcony and a separate garden space which is more sheltered for windy days (still with great views). There is a separate games room towards the front of the house which I imagine would be great for families. The local store is just a few steps away and it does decent take-out food. The burgers are really good.

What a lovely stay we all had . So close to the beach and so we’ll equipped… We swam everyday and we watched the sun go down .. Great views from the house .

Amazing Place.....

Really Nice, and clean place with a beautiful view... As the name suggests just a stone throws away from the beach.. Would definitely recommend and stay hwre again, when back in Tassie.

Perfect spot for a getaway with the family

Nice property with easy access to the beach. It was a great time away in a magical part of the world! The kitchen had everything we needed and it was easy to get to both Port Arthur and Freycinet coast.

Perfect getaway

We stayed here for the last couple of days of our trip to Tassie and could not rate this property highly enough. It's in a great location being right on the beach and, while being 20 minutes away from the closest town, there is a general store/petrol station right next to it. The house also had quite a lot in terms of kitchenware and condiments. Although it does not have wifi yet, we had sufficient reception through Vodafone and Optus. It does have cable, some dvd's and boardgames, and a pool table and darts board in the shed if you need something to occupy your time. You can tell that the owners really care about their property and all of the thoughtful touches were really appreciated!

Beautiful kid friendly beach escape.

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay. The house had heaps of space and is well set up. Toasty warm and lovely fireplace. Incredible view. Beach access was fabulous. Local store was great for staples however a little harder to get fresh produce, so plan for that. We would definitely recommend this property!

A scenic gem

Fantastic peaceful location, spacious home with two living areas. Master bedroom, dining area and main living space all have panoramic views over the mile-long beach. Kitchen has good oven, plenty of crockery and glassware, kettle, toaster and a stick blender. Bathroom has hairdryer. No bath (as can be seen in the photos). Second shower in the laundry. Beautiful bedding, comfortable mattresses, choice of pillows on each bed. All rooms have blackout curtains. Balcony and garden area have lots of different seating so no matter where the wind is coming from, you can find a sheltered spot. Check-in was seamless however the agent won’t text the key lockbox code until literally minutes before check-in time. Seemed rather extreme compared to other rentals. Agent also charges $5 rental per beach towel in advance so wise to bring your own. Most other holiday homes provide piles of beach towels without additional payment. Make sure to double check bedding requirements, as we specified two bedrooms in the initial booking but the agent confirmation said only one room would be made up. Nonetheless, a lovely place to stay and we will return!

Great place to stay

A great welcoming place, close to the beach. Very clean and good vibes. Got some music composing done and artwork as well. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Spectacular view

A beautiful sunny, clean, warm & very comfortable house, had everything we needed with amazing views overlooking the beach. Would be great for families as the house is huge with a fully fenced yard & the beach on your door step & a grocery/takeaway/servo right next door. Highly recommend!
