Description:
This traditional patio house is within the town walls of the romantic old Moorish centre of Vejer de la Frontera, less than one minute's walk from Plaza de Espana. It is ideal for a relaxing holiday with every facility for your comfort and convenience. The self-contained accommodation, accessed via a shady patio, is on the first, second and third floors. Recently renovated to a high standard whilst maintaining its original character, the well-equipped kitchen, lounge/dining room and one bathroom are on the first floor with the double bedroom, second bedroom with two single beds and shower room on the second floor. There is a balcony from the lounge overlooking the narrow, cobbled street and a secluded private roof terrace on the second floor. Stairs lead up to a large roof terrace, ideal for those sun lovers, with stunning views of the old town, the Andalusian plains and over to the coast of Africa. Both terraces are fully furnished for dining al fresco, enjoying the sun or generally nosing about!


The house will be clean for your arrival and cleaned again after your stay and we try and have a day between lettings so the cleaners have time to do their job - it also means that we can be more flexible with regards to the time you arrive and leave. If additional cleaning is required during your stay please contact us or our house manager and this can be arranged.
We will send directions to you a few days in advance of your stay in Vejer together with instructions with regards to key collection. However if you are likely to arrive out of normal working hours or during a particularly busy period, we will send you a code for the keysafe.
We will also send you a form to complete your ID details etc. which are required by the Spanish authorities - this can be sent directly to our property manager in advance of your stay.

Bis auf die Stromversorgung alles sehr schön, vor allem toller Blick bzw. Lage der Wohnung!

Es ist in unseren Augen nur einerseits das Problem, dass es zwar zwei Bäder, doch nur ein WC gibt, und dass, wenn man die kleine Heizung benutzt (es wurde zwischenzeitlich sehr kalt), wirklich alles zusammenbricht. Kein Boiler geht mehr, kochen ist dann auch nicht möglich. Sicherlich ist das Problem mit dem Strom schwierig in Spanien aber vielleicht kann man das Problem beheben? Ansonsten eine tolle Zeit in der Wohnung! Super Lage und Blick! Gerne wieder!

Nice apartment in wonderful location

We stayed one week in this apartment and we really recommend it, it is well equipped quite big with two beatiful terraces. Veyer is fantastic and all the coast is wonderful.

Très sympa !

Un appartement plein de charme, parfaitement équipé, idéalement situé dans Vejer. On s'y sent tout de suite bien. L'accueil très chaleureux de Maria-Luisa y est pour beaucoup, tous ses conseils nous ont été très précieux. C'est un vrai bonheur de profiter de la terrasse qui offre une belle vue sur la campagne alentour. Il peut faire chaud dans les chambres, mais en aérant un peu, on s'en sort (attention alors aux moustiques !). A recommander sans hésitation.

Wonderful house in a beautiful location!

Absolutely beautiful house and location! The house is spotlessly clean, and very well equipped with everything we needed, including a bbq and cot for our daughter. The two roof terraces are perfect for relaxing and enjoying the incredible views across the town and countryside beyond, you can even see Africa on a clear day. The house is perfectly positioned in a quiet road right in the centre of the old town. There are many restaurants and bars within easy walking distance, and it is great fun exploring the towns narrow and windy streets. We also spent time at local beaches, with lovely sand and great waves for surfing. Overall we had the most wonderful holiday and will definitely be returning.

A blissful retreat

A perfect spot for a sunny weekend getaway or week getting lost in a picturesque Andalusian town. We have visited several times to this delightful town and have always stayed here. We find the facilities ideal: well equipped, deceptively spacious and clean. The local restaurants are as numerous as they are superb (Trafalgar and Califa are favourites), but we often find ourselves cooking local fresh fish on the barbeque on the extended roof terrace, before heading to the local bar. Jerez, Cadiz and Seville are worth a visit. Beaches at Conil and El Palmar are perfect for waves and sand with great surfing to be had. We look forward to many more trips to this lovely spot.

Homage to Andalusia

We've just enjoyed a wonderfully relaxed October break staying at this atmospheric property. The apartment itself is very well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable. It has the advantage of being in the very centre of the enchanting old town of Vejer whilst retaining the peaceful quiet conducive to switching off to the outside world. The covered market - great fish and vegetable stalls - and the all too tempting bakery a few minutes walk along the narrow cobbled lanes and well placed for strolling out in the evening to choose from the very wide choice of eateries. Mornings spent on the very peaceful roof top terrrace, lazy lunches and off to one of the great beaches marked the pattern of our days. There are a range of beaches with wide stretches of clean sand, one quiet bay with gentle waves and another with Atlantic rollers great fun ranging from just tumbling about in the surf to the skilful use of boards and kites - (we saw that lessons are available for those so inclined). the Atlantic rollers great for surfing. Vejer was a good base from which to visit Jerez and Seville and with so much more to see and do in the area we would certainly like to go back making no 12 Canalejas our Andalusian base.

Goed uitgerust

Van 22 t/m 29 mei 2010 samen met mijn zus verbleven in dit pittoreske appartement midden in het oude centrum van Vejer. Het is een autenthieke woning met een goed uitgeruste keuken, mooie terassen en een prachtig uitzicht. 's Ochtends een vers broodje halen bij de bakker verderop in het dorp en genieten op je terras van je ontbijt met uitzicht! Wel een auto nodig want de stad ligt ongeveer 10 km van het strand. Auto hebben we gehuurd op het vliegveld van Malaga (Malaga gekozen vanwege de gunstiger vliegtijden) brede stranden met hier en daar een eettentje. Met de auto diverse trips gedaan in Andalusië. Eigenaar heeft ons uitstekend geïnformeerd en niets teveel gezegd. Wanneer je slecht ter been bent, zou ik deze vakantie echter niet aanraden vanwege de vele steile trappen en steegjes in de stad. Het was voor ons een heerlijke vakantie en we zijn erg enthousiast geworden over deze stad, voor herhaling vatbaar!

So good we keep going back

We have stayed at this place several times over the past three years and we plan to go back there again. It's a beautiful, very well equipped little house with a fantastic location right in the centre of the Old Town. There are loads of little shops, bars and restaurants less than a minute's walk away, although the views from the two terraces (probably the best views in Vejer) mean we have often found ourselves staying in and just enjoying a drink up there instead. Highly recommended!
