The rental is full of nostalgic kids toys enjoyed by all, was very clean, and offered lots of extra blankets and bedding. My favorite part was that all of the top sheets on the bedding smelled clean - sometimes at rentals it seems like those are never washed. Highly recommend.

Relaxing stay in a quiet community.

Property is nestled in a nice, quiet community and is in an ideal location to travel to nearby harbor towns along Lake Michigan for a day trip. The property owner was very responsive and provided clear & helpful instructions/advice during our stay. Would happily bring my young children for another visit.

The best vacation ever

We loved loved loved this place. We brought our bikes and biked to the beautiful beach every day and took bike rides all around the community. We brought our 6 year old grandson and they had SO MANY TOYS and games.. he never touched his own toys we brought. The inside is cozy and more spacious than i thought it would be looking at the pictures! They have every outdoor game you would ever want- badminton, croquet, cornhole and much more! Life vests for people of all sizes. But i have to say my favorite part is the yard.. a BIG side yard with fire pit, chairs, grill and picnic table, and a big backyard with tetherball. I can't say enough!!

Perfect getaway for northern michigan

Very close to beach. It was all clean and beautiful place for fire pit outside to see all the stars. My friends and I had a fantastic time. Great communication by host and very organized. Appreciated that there was coffee already there for us that first morning!

A good stay-a few thoughts

This cottage was very clean. Plenty of room. Quiet setting. Walk to beach is 10-15 mins so drive if you have stuff. Host had several up-charges (extra fees) that we normally find included like: wood for the campfire, kayak, washer/dryer. Seems like a $5 bundle of wood would be an easy thing with the daily rate this cottage commands. Master bedroom bed was good, a couple of the others could use an update. Beach setting is marvelous.

We loved the woodsy views out of all of the windows, enjoyed the fire pit and beach rentals, and had a lovely vacation!

Excellent Getaway

The location of the property is excellent. The property is clean and welcoming. It was great for a family trip. We did have colder weather most of our trip but the attractions Linda and Greg shared with us were fantastic so we still had a nice time even though it was a bit cold for the beach. We also met Linda and Greg (the owners) during our trip and they were so nice. I would highly recommend this property.

Clean, quiet cottage, very relaxing

The cottage was clean and nicely decorated in a quiet neighborhood and is close to Lake Michigan. Really enjoyed having fires in the fire pit and seeing the Milky Way in the night sky. Wife and I had a very relaxing stay. There are many beaches nearby to enjoy Lake Michigan and watch the sunset from.

Quiet, relaxing getaway!

The house has spacious seating areas, very comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen had everything we needed. Very quiet with secluded feeling. The beach was fabulous!! It was everything I remembered and more. We would love to come back when we could stay longer. Would like to stay at this property again.

Cozy home away from home

This cottage is wonderful. The property owners Greg and Linda were the perfect hosts! As a mom of 3 kiddos staying by ourselves, it was clean, comfortable, and in the perfect serene location. We felt safe and secure as well. They even provided some “extra” baby equipment knowing I was traveling with an infant without me asking! The cottage has everything you need to have a home away from home. We loved the fire pit and the veggie garden, and all of the beautiful flowers used in the landscaping. The beds were comfortable, and although it was cool outside, we were happy the cottage had AC… something that’s a must for this Florida momma. It was a reasonable walk to the beach. Overall we couldn’t have been more pleased. We would definitely recommend!

Cute Family Cottage

Cottage nestled in a large shady lot, with room for kids to run. A short walk to the beach with beautiful views and white sand. Nearby ice cream shop with a nice grassy park, highly recommended for families.

Peaceful and clean...

La Bella Vie Cottage is a wonderful, peaceful place to stay...there is a wonderful room surrounded by windows that is set up by the hosts as a welcoming gathering place. We especially enjoyed the surroundings and private beach.

Great location & super clean

We loved our stay! The beach is beautiful and we enjoyed our nightly walk to enjoy the sunset over the lake. Neighbors were friendly and felt safe walking the area. The lawn games were a huge hit as well as the shuffleboard at the park down the road. Hope to be back!

Cozy and comfortable - great location.

The property was exactly as described. Clean, well equipped and furnished and close to the waterfront. We spent the days exploring the areas along the coast, visiting the lighthouses, cideries and breweries and spent the clear evenings by the firepit looking up at the stars.

Comfortable stay

We had a great couple days while we stayed at the cottage. The firewood was very convenient to purchase on site. The toy closet was a huge hit! The beds were super comfy! Thanks for a great stay!

Fantastic House & Fun Location

We had such a fun time at this house over Labor Day weekend. It's in a great location, with easy access to Lake Michigan, and Linda and Greg provided many suggestions for other attractions in the area that we enjoyed exploring. The house was very clean and had just about everything we could have wanted during our stay. We would definitely stay here again for some great beach time.

Wonderful Cottage close to beautiful Lake Michigan

The cottage was perfect for our family vacation. Beautiful property surrounded by trees and flowers. A short, enjoyable walk or drive to Lake Michigan and a gorgeous stretch of beach. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Lots of toys and games for the family to enjoy. A very peaceful and relaxing vacation.

La Bella Vie Cottage is warm and welcoming, on a private lot, surrounded by woods. Soft sandy beach and crystal clear waters of Lake Michigan only a short walk away. We love the area and know you will too.
