When you're with a group of guys that have been getting together every year for the past 47 years in a row to go fly fishing and to cook gourmet meals, you know we've seen every type of accommodation possible. Some have been EXCELLENT and some have been OK. Our stay this past week in the Bitterroot Valley Cabin would be in the EXCELLENT category for sure! Plenty of comfortable beds, ample bathrooms, nice kitchen and pantry, 2 refrigerators, a banquet table for the 8 of us, located right across the street from the Bitterroot River.....who could ask for more?
Manager, Renee, was SO ACCOMMODATING and easy to work with. I can't thank her enough for her help.
2 very minor things that need attention.....More steak knives...only 3 available.....and the BBQ could stand a good cleaning and new grills. They were pretty badly worn out. Other than those two items, the kitchen was very well stocked with glassware, silverware, pots and pans, knives, bowls. Would have been nice to have an inexpensive electric hand mixer...but we made due with a whisk.
One final note....just FYI.....for anyone with "balance issues".....getting to the downstairs rooms is NOT an easy task.....and even a bit dangerous. Handrails would be a wonderful addition.
